Shape correspondence is an important and challenging problem in geometry processing. Generalized map representations, such as functional maps, have been recently suggested as an approach for handling difficult mapping problems, such as partial matching and matching shapes with high genus, within a generic framework. While this idea was shown to be useful in various scenarios, such maps only provide low frequency information on the correspondence. In many applications, such as texture transfer and shape interpolation, a high quality pointwise map that can transport high frequency data between the shapes is required. We name this problem map deblurring and propose a robust method, based on a smoothness assumption, for its solution. Our approach is suitable for non‐isometric shapes, is robust to mesh tessellation and accurately recovers vertex‐to‐point, or precise, maps. Using the same framework we can also handle map denoising, namely improvement of given pointwise maps from various sources. We demonstrate that our approach outperforms the state‐of‐the‐art for both deblurring and denoising of maps on benchmarks of non‐isometric shapes, and show an application to high quality intrinsic symmetry computation. 相似文献

In the present work, it is shown how the controlled porosity can be exploited to obtain a compromise between a reduced permittivity down to a few hundreds and maintaining a high tunability level as in the dense material, to fulfill requirements for tunable applications. Nb‐doped Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 ceramics with porosity in the range 5%‐30% have been prepared by direct sintering method. X‐ray diffraction analysis and Rietveld refinement indicated a co‐existence of tetragonal and monoclinic phases in the porous ceramics. Dielectric properties revealed a gradual reduction in permittivity when increasing the porosity level, while maintaining low dielectric losses below 3%. The ferroelectric switching behavior is also influenced by the porosity level: a continuous reduction in the saturation and remnant polarization is observed with increasing porosity. The nonlinear dielectric properties of all the investigated ceramics preserve a high level of tunability in comparison with one of the dense material, irrespective of the porosity level, while zero field permittivity was decreased below 1000. An optimum behavior is found for the ceramic sample with 25% porosity, which shows a high tunability, smaller losses, and moderate dielectric constant (ε ~600). 相似文献

Two highly functionalized resins were synthesized by the phase transfer reaction of indene with propargyl bromide or allyl chloride in the presence of strong base. The resins consisted of a mixture of tri- and tetrafunctional indenes with 60–80% of the product being tetrafunctional. The allylated (AL) and propargylated (PL) indene resins were thermally cured without added catalysts. Both resins exhibited a broad, highly exothermic cure with a peak energy at 320°C for AL resin and 282°C for PL resin. Thermal degradation of cured AL resin was found to begin at approximately 400°C with a carbon yield of 20% of its initial weight at 1000°C. Carbon yields for cured PL resin were excellent, with 68% retention of weight at 1000°C. Unidirectional, carbon fiber composites were fabricated from the substituted indene resins. AL–carbon fiber composites gave modulus values of 126 GPa and strength values of 967 MPa, while PL–carbon fiber composites gave modulus values of 116 GPa and strength values of 935 MPa in three-point bending tests. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. We demonstrate a method to make possible the mass production of corrugated long-period fiber gratings (C-LPFGs) by utilizing imprint lithography on polycarbonate (PC) substrates. For such C-LPFGs whose working principle is based on photoelastic effect, pretensile tension is required to be applied to inducing periodical refractive index variation. We then present an attempt to use PC as embedding material for providing internal compressive stress for C-LPFGs to have a photoelastic effect. This type of LPFG, termed embedded corrugated long-period fiber gratings (EC-LPFGs), is obtained after reimprinting the C-LPFGs into other PC substrates. Since compressive stress is retained due to the materials of different coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE), unlike C-LPFGs, EC-LPFGs can serve as strain, bending, and temperature sensors without the need of pretensile strain. The two most troublesome problems, the fragility of an etched fiber grating and the requirement of pretensile strain, can be simultaneously alleviated or solved by EC-LPFGs. 相似文献

Nanostructured polymer electrolytes are very attractive materials for components of batteries and opto-electronic devices. (PEO)8ZnCl2 polymer electrolytes and nanocomposites were prepared using Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) γ-irradiated with a selected dose of 529 kGy and with an addition of 10% of TiO2 nanograins. The influence of the added nanosize TiO2 grains on the polymer electrolytes and the effect of the γ-radiation from a Co-60 source were studied by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) simultaneously recorded with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) at the synchrotron ELETTRA. Infrared (IR) and impedance spectroscopy (IS) were also performed [1]. It was shown by previously performed IS that the room temperature conductivity of the nanocomposite polymer electrolyte increased more than two times above 65 °C, relative to pure composites of PEO and salts. We observed all changes between 20 °C and 100 °C for treated and as prepared polymer electrolyte in the SAXS, DSC and WAXD spectra and especially during the phase transition to the super-ionic phase at 65 °C [2] and [3]. The SAXS/DSC measurements yielded insight into the temperature-dependent changes of the grains of the electrolyte as well as into the differences due to different heating and cooling rates. Brewers’ spent grain (BSG) is the main solid by‐product of the brewing process and is typically disposed of as cattle feed. In this study, BSG was evaluated as a substrate for the production of polyphenols and the lignin‐degrading enzyme laccase using fungal solid‐state fermentation by Trametes versicolor. Laccases are finding increasing applications in the food industry and polyphenols have benefits for human health. After 14 days of fermentation with T. versicolor, there was a 3.4‐fold increase in the extraction of total polyphenols compared with untreated BSG. Using BSG as the sole source of carbon and nitrogen, maximum laccase activity was achieved after seven days of treatment with an activity of 560 U/L. Based on these results, BSG is suggested to be a good lignocellulose waste material to produce value‐added products such as the enzyme laccase and polyphenols.
