The notion of environment is receiving an increasing attention in the development of multiagent applications. This is witnessed by the emergence of a number of infrastructures providing agent designers with useful means to develop the agent environment, and thus to structure an effective multiagent application. In this paper we analyse the role and features of such infrastructures, and survey some relevant examples. We endorse a general viewpoint where the environment of a multiagent system is seen as a set of basic bricks we call environment abstractions, which (i) provide agents with services useful for achieving individual and social goals, and (ii) are supported by some underlying software infrastructure managing their creation and exploitation. Aero-engines operating in dust-laden environments often encounter a lot of dust/sand that causes a severe problem to the TBCs by means of erosion. As the turbine entry temperatures are rising, molten sand is also a big concern to the life-time of TBCs.This paper deals with the TBC behavior under the combined influence of erosion and corrosion attack. Variations in TBC morphology, CMAS infiltration time and CMAS composition and their influence on the erosion resistance at room temperature were investigated. Two different EB-PVD 7YSZ morphologies consisting of a different porosity arrangement were tested in the erosion/corrosion regime. The more ‘Feathery’ structure has a better resistance to erosion compared to a more columnar ‘Normal’ structure, which leads to less degradation of the TBC. However, under the influence of CMAS infiltration the effect was found to be reversed. In general, CMAS-infiltrated EB-PVD TBCs exhibit a higher erosion resistance than the non-infiltrated ones. 相似文献

X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy were applied to investigate a sol–gel synthetic process for the mixed oxygen ion and electron conductor La2 NiO4+δ with a K2 NiF4 structure type. The development of the La2 NiO4+δ is elucidated considering the influence of calcination temperatures and dwell times. Following the thermal decomposition of nitrate and organic precursors in an intermediate step, the lanthanum nickel oxide is obtained after a short dwell time above 750°C. This occurs by the transformation of an ultrafinely dispersed powder consisting of lanthanum oxycarbonate, lanthanum oxide, and nickel oxide. The pure La2 NiO4+δ phase was obtained by similar solid-state reactions between nanocrystalline powder particles at just 950°C. 相似文献

Emerging network scenarios call for innovative open service frameworks to ensure capability of self-adaptability and long-lasting evolvability. In this paper, we assess the need for such innovative service frameworks, and discuss how their engineering should get inspiration from natural ecosystems, i.e., by modelling services as autonomous individuals in an ecosystem of other services and data sources. We introduce a reference conceptual architecture with the goal of clarifying the concepts expressed and framing the several possible nature-inspired metaphors that could be adopted to realise the idea. On this basis, we go into details about one of such possible approaches, in which the rules governing the ecosystem are inspired by biochemical mechanisms. A case study is also introduced to exemplify the potentials of the presented biochemical approach and to experiment with some representative biochemistry-inspired patterns of adaptive service organisation and evolution. 相似文献

Home-based soft X-ray time-resolved scattering experiments with nanosecond time resolution (10 ns) and nanometer spatial resolution were carried out at a table top soft X-ray plasma source (2.2–5.2 nm). The investigated system was the lyotropic liquid crystal C16E7/paraffin/glycerol/formamide/IR 5. Usually, major changes in physical, chemical, and/or optical properties of the sample occur as a result of structural changes and shrinking morphology. Here, these effects occur as a consequence of the energy absorption in the sample upon optical laser excitation in the IR regime. The liquid crystal shows changes in the structural response within few hundred nanoseconds showing a time decay of 182 ns. A decrease of the Bragg peak diffracted intensity of 30% and a coherent macroscopic movement of the Bragg reflection are found as a response to the optical pump. The Bragg reflection movement is established to be isotropic and diffusion controlled (1 μs). Structural processes are analyzed in the Patterson analysis framework of the time-varying diffraction peaks revealing that the inter-lamellar distance increases by 2.7 Å resulting in an elongation of the coherently expanding lamella crystallite. The present studies emphasize the possibility of applying TR-SXRD techniques for studying the mechanical dynamics of nanosystems. 相似文献

Characterisation of the delamination behaviour of thermoplastic UD-composites made by different hybrid yarn structures In order to determine delamination behaviour of glass-fibre-reinforced polyamid composites the compression shear test and the DCB (Double Cantilever Beam)-, SEN- and NBT-test for mode-I- and the ENF (End Notched Flexure)-test for mode II-loading were used. By these tests the energy release rate G respectively K and the R cure (crack resistance curve) have been measured which characterise the crack resistance of the material against delamination. The composites were made by different hybrid yarn structures produced by air texturing (commingled yarn: COM), side-by-side arrangement (SBS), friction spinning (FS), Kemafil (KEM)- and Schappe(SCH)-technology. The influence of different glass fibre sizings was investigated. The results demonstrate the significant influence of different hybrid yarn structures and glass fibre coatings on fracture thoughness during crack propagation along the fibre/matrix interface. The best values were obtained for composites produced on the basis of commingled yarn structure. 相似文献

The logistics of the fuel supply have a large impact on the economy of a biomass power generation facility, especially for low density biomass fuels like straw. A detailed cost analysis of a typical rice straw logistics process for two baling options in three regions of Thailand shows that the costs for all logistics operations vary from a minimum of 18.75 USD/t for small rectangular bales in the Northern region of Thailand to maximum 19.89 USD/t for large rectangular bales in the North-eastern region. The difference in costs is not very significant due to the higher ownership and operating costs of the equipment for using large rectangular bales; however, the specific fuel consumption cost is substantially lower by around 17.5% and a total transport cost reduction is about 31.5%. Analysis of the logistics economies of scale for projected power plant capacities of 2-35 MWe showed that each doubling the capacity of the energy facility increases the specific costs of the logistics operations only by around 4% in all regions. 相似文献
