Forced commutated cycloconverters (FCC's) have been used successfully as static frequency changers for low-to-medium frequency applications. The use of FCC's for high-frequency applications and, in particular, in the role of high-frequency links (HFL's) is investigated. Such links are widely used as intermediate stage circuits to provide simultaneous power conditioning and ohmic isolation. The investigation shows that suitable HFL circuit topologies do exist for any combination of input-to-output number of phases. It also shows that, through the use of appropriate switching techniques, it is possible to obtain HFL output voltage and input current waveforms with low harmonic content and insignificant amplitude derating. 相似文献

In this study an approximate method based on the continuum approach and transfer matrix method for static and dynamic analyses of multi‐bay coupled shear walls is presented. The whole structure is idealized as a sandwich beam in this method. Initially the differential equation of this equivalent sandwich beam is written, then shape functions for each storey can be obtained by the solution of differential equations. By using boundary conditions and storey transfer matrices which are obtained by these shape functions, system modes and periods can be calculated. Reliability of the study is shown with a few examples. A computer program has been developed in MATLAB and numerical samples have been solved for demonstration of the reliability of this method. In this article, a low power time-interleaved SAR (TI-SAR) ADC is presented. Background calibration is used to improve the linearity of the ADC. Offset, gain, and capacitor mismatches between interleaved channels are calibrated by postprocessing the ADC output. Besides, a novel trimming-based calibration algorithm is used to calibrate the timing mismatches between channels. The proposed calibration algorithm is more power-efficient compared with most of its counterparts. The ADC consists of 18 parallel channels, a reference channel with two dummy channels, and a channel for timing calibration. The timing calibration channel is clocked only when the reference channel samples. The dummy channels are utilized to equalize the input load over time as they sample one after another to fill the gap where the reference channel does not sample. There is no need for any other dummy channels for timing calibration channel since it has low kickback noise over input driver. Each parallel channel operates at 111 ms/s while the reference channel runs at 105 ms/s. The aggregate sampling speed of the converter is 2 GS/s, and 52-dB SNDR is accomplished near Nyquist frequencies. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Two different asphalts were coated on a Fluoropak support and were oxidized at 130 ± 2°C for 24 hours using a number of metal chelales as additives. After oxidation the recovered asphalts were analyzed by infrared spectrometry to determine enhancements of keto, acid, and anhydride functions. Vanadyl etioporphyrin I was found to be an effective promoter in the oxidation of both asphalts. Vanadyl porphyrins having bulky ring substituents are not as effective as vanadyl etioporphyrin I in promoting asphalt oxidations. 相似文献

ABSTRACT Four selected asphalts were blended with zero to five wt. percent of fractions rich in vamady cheltes prepared from two crude oils. The mixture was -coated in a teflon -support, and the whole was heated in an oven at. 113±2°C for 24 hours. Objective: The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to determine and clarify the impact of curcuminoids on serum lipid levels. Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the effects of curcuminoids on plasma lipids were searched in PubMed-Medline, Scopus, Web of Science databases (from inception to April 3rd, 2017). A random-effects model and generic inverse variance method were used for quantitative data synthesis. Sensitivity analysis was conducted using the leave-one-out method. A weighted random-effects meta-regression was performed to evaluate the impact of potential confounders on lipid concentrations. Results: A meta-analysis of 20 RCTs with 1427 participants suggested a significant decrease in plasma concentrations of triglycerides (WMD: ?21.36 mg/dL, 95% CI: ?32.18, ?10.53, p < 0.001), and an elevation in plasma HDL-C levels (WMD: 1.42 mg/dL, 95% CI: 0.03, 2.81, p = 0.046), while plasma levels of LDL-C (WMD: ?5.82 mg/dL, 95% CI: ?15.80, 4.16, p = 0.253) and total cholesterol (WMD: ?9.57 mg/dL, 95% CI: ?20.89, 1.75, p = 0.098) were not altered. The effects of curcuminoids on lipids were not found to be dependent on the duration of supplementation. Conclusion: This meta-analysis has shown that curcuminoid therapy significantly reduces plasma triglycerides and increases HDL-C levels. 相似文献

There is considerable interest in the petroleum industry to characterize partially fractured reservoirs and to develop an increased understanding of the physics of fluid flow in these types of reservoirs. This is because fractured reservoirs have different behavior and there exist a large number of these reservoirs that are not fully developed. This paper presents a numerical simulation study that was performed to investigate the effect of rock properties on the tracer response in partially fractured reservoirs using a finite difference numerical simulator. These properties include fracture intensity, fracture porosity and matrix permeability. The functional relationships between these parameters and the calculated effective permeabilities are also investigated. Several images, each with different probability of fracture intensity, were generated randomly. Numerical simulations of single-phase tracer transport were then performed in each of the generated fractured models. Results show that the fracture intensity, fracture porosity and matrix permeability have a significant effect on the tracer response in naturally fractured reservoirs. Depending on the reservoir properties, the results also show that the flow in partially fractured reservoirs can be either matrix-dominated or fracture-dominated. The characteristics of each regime and the conditions for its occurrence are presented. 相似文献
