Different carboxylic acid derivatives of 2,2‐dinitropropane‐1,3‐diol (DNPD) and 2,2‐bis(azidomethyl)propane‐1,3‐diol (BAMP) were synthesized to investigate their suitability as energetic plasticizers. The syntheses were carried out using acyl chlorides of acetic, propionic, and butyric acid. The obtained products were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and IR spectroscopy. The energetic properties of the synthesized compounds were calculated on the basis of the computed heats of formation at the CBS‐4M level of theory using the EXPLO5 version 6.02 computer code. Investigations of physical stabilities were carried out using BAM drop hammer and friction tester. Low and high temperature behavior was determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The energetic and physical properties of the synthesized compounds were compared to the literature known energetic plasticizers N‐butyl nitratoethylnitramine (BuNENA) and diethylene glycol bis(azidoacetate) ester (DEGBAA). For analyzing the plasticizing abilities, mixtures of glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) and poly(3‐nitratomethyl‐3‐methyloxetan) (polyNIMMO) were prepared with both propionyl based compounds in different ratios and investigated regarding their glass transition temperatures and viscosity. The effect of hydrolysis parameters (temperature, initial enzyme/substrate ratio and time) on the hydrolysis of pumpkin oil cake protein isolate (PuOC PI) with acid protease from Aspergillus niger and the antioxidant potency of the obtained hydrolysates were studied by response surface methodology (RSM). The hydrolysis progress, measured by the degree of hydrolysis (DH), was described by a second-order polynomial model (R2 = 0.77) and the conditions for optimum DH (42.94%) were found at temperature of 40 °C, enzyme/substrate ratio (E/S) 4.38 HUT/mg of substrate proteins and 85 min. The antiradical activity (AA) of the PuOC PI hydrolysates was examined by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) assay; all hydrolysates showed a concentration dependent scavenging activity against DPPH radicals. The AA of hydrolysates was influenced by process parameters and was presented also by a second-order polynomial model (R2 = 0.7). The conditions to achieve the highest DH did not result hydrolysates with the optimum AA; the highest AA ranged from 34% to 40% and were found in hydrolysates obtained at 50 °C. 相似文献

Consumption of choline-rich foods is essential to ensure membrane integrity, neurotransmission and genomic methylation pathways. Insufficient dietary choline supply can cause choline deficiency (CD) which manifests in the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. There is very limited information regarding the effect of CD on non-hepatic tissues such as muscle. In this study, we induced CD in muscle cells and investigated the effect on choline transport, phosphatidylcholine (PC), fatty acid and triacylglycerol (TAG, fat) metabolism. Choline transport was stable across the plasma membrane of CD cells but significantly impaired in mitochondria. The main choline-transporter SLC44A1 was down-regulated by CD at the mRNA level, and SLC44A1 protein was reduced in total cell lysates and isolated mitochondria. CD significantly reduced PC synthesis but PC degradation was unaffected. PC from CD muscle was modified and contained more monounsaturated fatty acids at the expense of saturated fatty acids. Surprisingly, CD muscle cells also accumulated TAG in the form of large lipid droplets. Those droplets were formed from endogenous fatty acids and by slower TAG metabolism. This study established for the first time that choline availability affects muscle membrane lipid composition and intracellular lipid metabolism, and underlines the significance of choline-rich foods for proper muscle function. 相似文献

Spent coffee grounds (SCG), which are the residue obtained from the treatment of coffee with hot water or steam, can be used for industrial applications, due to the high content in lipids. The cosmetic products might be a suitable application for these types of residues because the barrier properties of the stratum corneum (SC) are largely dependent on the intactness of the lipid lamellae that surrounds the corneocytes. The purpose of this work was to assess the feasibility of using the lipid fraction of SCG extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide in the development of new cosmetic formulations with improved skin lipids (sebum) and hydration. The use of spent coffee lipid extract in cosmetic industry seems to be a suitable approach to recycle the wastes from coffee industry. Emulsion containing 10% of the lipid fraction of SCG (SpentCofOil cream) presented promising characteristics in the improvement of sebum skin levels with a good acceptance by consumers when compared to an emulsion containing 10% w/w of green coffee oil (GreenCofOil cream) and a placebo without coffee oil (NoCofOil cream). Ethylene‐vinyl acetate (EVA) nanocomposites with enhanced flame retardance were prepared by the sol–gel process in the melt. Two EVAs with different vinyl acetate (VA) contents and aluminium isopropoxide were used as organic and inorganic phases. The nanocomposites were prepared in a batch mixer under constant processing conditions and were analysed by several characterization techniques. Aluminium isopropoxide presented low activation energy, which allows the synthesis of the nanoparticles without a post step treatment. The reaction mechanism is proposed. Nanocomposites with smaller and well dispersed metal nanoparticles were produced with an EVA with higher VA content. ABSTRACT The equations describing the regularities of interphase distribution of platinum metals as their chloro complex acids in systems containing binary extractants have been derived. The dependencies of distribution coefficients of platinum metals on the composition of both phases, and their aqueous acidity have been determined when both binary extraction and a combination of anion-exchange and binary extraction occurred. The interrelation of the binary extraction constant of chloro complex acids of platinum metals with the extraction constant of hydrochloric acid and the anion-exchange constant is described. We studied platinum metal extraction by salts of organic acids and organic bases and showed that in the systems involving binary extractants, such as salts of quaternary ammonium bases, the distribution of platinum metals proceeds via either anion-exchange or binary mechanisms depending on the composition of the system. With increasing pH, the distribution coefficients of platinum metals decrease according to the regularities of binary extraction due to forming thermodynamicaHy stable binary extractants, R4NA When the anion-exchange extraction occurs, the distribution of complex acids of platinum metals in the systems containing binary extractants is affected by interactions of the extractants and the extracted compounds with the organic acids. Interactions between extractants in the chloride form and the molecules of organic acids have been shown to be largely responsible for the extraction characteristics. The binary extractant systems are preferred in the development of solvent extraction processes for the recovery and the stripping of platinum metals. 相似文献

Ion selective electrodes were used to measure the activity coefficients of individual ions at 298.2 K in aqueous solutions of KF, KBr and NaF up to 3, 2 and 1 molal, respectively. The mean ionic activity coefficients of the electrolytes obtained from the values of individual ions show good agreement with values reported in the literature. The experimental results confirm that the activity coefficients are different for the anion and the cation in an aqueous solution of a single electrolyte. It is also confirmed that the deviation from ideality for each ion depends on its counterion. The Khoshkbarchi—Vera equation was used to correlate the experimental data. 相似文献

The main challenge for construction industry today is sustainability. Bamboo has properties that make it sustainable, but its fire behavior remains unknown. This paper presents an exploratory research on fire behavior of Guadua angustifolia kunth (a.k.) bamboo. Fire reaction was assessed through critical heat flux for ignition and flame spread while fire resistance through charring rate and strength variation with temperature. Fire reaction fall within standard limits used for structural woods, while fire resistance results are higher than that of plywood. Based on these preliminary results, Guadua a.k. would be adequate as structural and indoor finishing building material. 相似文献
