The recent explosion in multimedia and networking application places a great demand on efficient transmission of images at low bit rate with high security. Mixing several existing standard encryption techniques with image encoding tends to change the compression ratio greatly. In this paper, a novel image encryption algorithm is embedded as a part of JPEG image encoding scheme to meet three major necessities: (1) to provide temporal security against casual observer, (2) to preserve the compression ratio, (3) remain compliant with the JPEG file format. In the proposed algorithm, the modified DCT blocks are confused by a fuzzy PN sequence. In addition to that, the DCT coefficients of each modified DCT block are converted to unique uncorrelated symbols, which are confused by another fuzzy PN sequence. Finally, the variable length encoded bits are encrypted by chaotic stream cipher. An amalgamation of all the three techniques with random combination of seeds will provide the required security against the casual listener/observer where the security needed is only in-terms of few hours.  相似文献

In this study, the stagnation point flow of a magnetized Williamson fluid past a stretching sheet in the presence of nonlinear thermal radiation and buoyancy effect is studied. The present situation is remodeled using similarity transformation that transforms the flow model of partial differential equations into the set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme and shooting method are employed to solve these reduced equations. The effects of various associated parameters over the velocity and temperature profiles are plotted and the outcome of each associated parameter is discussed through graphs. The key findings are noted as follows: the velocity profile declines with an increase in the magnetic force number, and an increment in buoyancy parameter leads to the increase in the boundary layer thickness and decrease in the thickness of the thermal boundary layer.  相似文献

Hydrothermally prepared zinc oxide nanorods are sulphonated (S–ZnO NR) and incorporated into 15% Sulphonated Poly (1,4-Phenylene Ether Ether Sulfone) (SPEES) to improve the hydrophilicity, water uptake and ion transfer capacity. Water uptake and ion transfer capacity increased to 34.6 ± 0.6% and 2.0 ± 0.05 meq g?1 from 29.8 ± 0.3% and 1.4 ± 0.04 meq g?1 by adding 7.5 wt% S–ZnO NR to SPEES. Morphological studies show the prepared S–ZnO NR is well dispersed in the polymer matrix. SPEES +7.5 wt% S–ZnO NR membrane exhibits optimum performance after three-weeks of continual operation in a fabricated microbial fuel cell (MFC) to produce a maximum power density of 142 ± 1.2 mW m?2 with a reduced biofilm compared to plain SPEES (59 ± 0.8 mW m?2), unsulphonated filler incorporated SPEES (SPEES + 7.5 wt% ZnO, 68 ± 1.1 mW m?2) and Nafion (130 ± 1.5 mW m?2) thereby suggesting its suitability as a sustainable and improved cation exchange membrane (CEM) for MFCs.  相似文献

The thermal lattice Boltzmann method is used to examine forced convection heat transfer from six inline heated square cylinders for Re = 100 at 0.5 ≤ s/d ≤ 4.0, where s is the distance between the surfaces of two cylinders and d is the cylinder size. Such a heat transfer is transient in nature for which the present work reports heat transfer regimes such as synchronous, quasiperiodic and chaotic. For 0.5 ≤ s/d ≤ 1.5 the heat transfer is synchronous, for 1.5 ≤ s/d ≤ 3.0 it is quasiperiodic and for 3.0 ≤ s/d ≤ 4.0 it is chaotic in nature at Re = 100. These regimes are confirmed through cylinder Nusselt number signals, its power spectra, and heat wake interference. The appearance of heat transfer regimes for inline heated cylinders is similar to the appearance of flow regimes for inline unheated cylinders except for the fact that transition from synchronous to quasiperiodic regime occurs at s/d = 1.5 for heat transfer and at s/d = 1.1 for flow. The synchronous heat transfer regime is characterized by a single heat wake that envelopes all cylinders while quasiperiodic heat transfer regime is characterized by the formation of thermal blobs in the gap between cylinders. A chaotic heat transfer regime is characterized by the shedding of thermal blobs and interference of thermal blobs by downstream cylinders. Regardless of spacing, the average Nusselt number encountered by cylinders is smaller than that for the isolated cylinder. The novelty of the work is that transitions occurring in the flow of heat are considered for an understanding of heat flow from bluff bodies.  相似文献
