The local solid flow structure of the bubbling fluidized bed of sand particles was investigated in order to identify and characterize the clusters. Extensive experiments were carried out using an optical fibre probe, measuring the velocity and the diameter of clusters. Under all operating conditions, ascending and descending clusters co‐existed at all measurement locations. The locus of the inversion point at which the directions of cluster motion changed was determined. The velocity of the ascending clusters was a function of both superficial gas velocity and the radial and axial position. With increasing superficial gas velocity, both the velocity and the diameter of ascending clusters decreased near the wall. However, the velocity of descending clusters depended mainly on superficial gas velocity and the largest clusters existed closer to the wall. The results of this study help to explain cluster hydrodynamics in fluidized beds.  相似文献

Environment psychologically affects individuals. According to the base of cognitive psychology, there is a direct relationship between human behavior, environment, and emotional process. Assuming that pleasantness and unpleasantness are associated with peripheral nervous system activation, the current study aims to explore if the pleasant or unpleasant architectural places can stimulate the brain regions engaged in emotions or not. As the main contribution, we used functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) measuring blood oxygenation level-dependent (BOLD) changes to effectively detect the brain's region that mainly responds to the emotional-perceptual processes. Based on the results of examining the emotional assessment model of “Pleasure-Arousal” applied to 140 students, 30 most-rated images representing 15 pleasant and 15 unpleasant places were shown to 32 participants in a 1.5-T MRI scanner. After applying standard preprocessing steps (re-alignment, slice-timing, co-registration, segmentation, normalization, and smoothing) to functional MR images, first-level analysis was applied to each subject. The results were evaluated using statistical corrections at different levels for female and male participants with the second-level analysis. In conclusion, it has been shown that there is a significant linkage between environmental experience and brain activation so that the architectural qualities can change blood flow in specific brain regions.  相似文献

In this paper, a new uncertain analysis method is developed for optimal control problems, including interval variables (uncertainties) based on truncated Chebyshev polynomials. The interval arithmetic in this research is employed for analyzing the uncertainties in optimal control problems comprising uncertain‐but‐bounded parameters with only lower and upper bounds of uncertain parameters. In this research, the Chebyshev method is utilized because it generates sharper bounds for meaningful solutions of interval functions, rather than the Taylor inclusion function, which is efficient in handling the overestimation derived from the wrapping effect due to interval computations. For utilizing the proposed interval method on the optimal control problems with uncertainties, the Lagrange multiplier method is first applied to achieve the necessary conditions and then, by using some algebraic manipulations, they are converted into the ordinary differential equation. Afterwards, the Chebyshev inclusion method is employed to achieve the solution of the system. The final results of the Chebyshev inclusion method are compared with the interval Taylor method. The results show that the proposed Chebyshev inclusion function based method better handle the wrapping effect than the interval Taylor method.  相似文献

The propagation of waves in elastic solids at or near the incompressible limit is of interest in many current and emerging applications. Standard low-order Galerkin finite element discretization struggles with both incompressibility and wave dispersion. Galerkin least squares stabilization is known to improve computational performance of each of these ingredients separately. A novel approach of combined pressure-curl stabilization is presented, facilitating the use of continuous, equal-order interpolation of displacements and pressure. The pressure stabilization parameter is determined by stability considerations, while the curl stabilization parameter is determined by dispersion considerations. The proposed pressure-curl–stabilized scheme provides stable and accurate results on a variety of numerical tests for incompressible and nearly incompressible elastic waves computed with linear elements.  相似文献

Fluidization quality of beds containing alumina and iron oxide nanoparticles in the Agglomerate Bubbling Fluidization (ABF) was improved by applying a combination of vibration and magnetic field. Pressure fluctuations were measured and analyzed by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Recurrence Plot (RP) and Recurrence Quantitative Analysis (RQA). Results of FFT showed that the wall vibration creates a periodic signal at 100?Hz which is not originated from the bed hydrodynamics. RP of pressure fluctuations before and after applying the assisting forces showed that the white areas in the plot decrease in size, which indicates an increase in the contribution of meso-structures such as agglomerates and small bubbles. The transition in the equilibrium bed hydrodynamics, between the condition in which assisting forces are not applied and condition in which they are applied, was tracked. It was shown by the determinism of pressure fluctuations that when the iron oxide nanoparticles exist alongside with alumina nanoparticles, this transition to the new equilibrium condition was reached in a shorter time. Determinism of pressure fluctuation of beds containing iron oxide decreased after applying the assisting forces. This trend confirms that large bubbles start to disappear and become substituted by smaller structures when magnetic field is applied to the bed. Under this condition, the interphase contact efficiency increases and the bed becomes closer to the Agglomerate Particle Fluidization (APF) regime.  相似文献

Objective: The aim of this study was the preparation of a self nano-emulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) for oral delivery of heparin.

Significance: Preparation of hydrophobic complexes between heparin as the hydrophilic macromolecule and cationic polymer of β-cyclodextrin (CPβCD) was considered for preparation of orally administered SNEDDS in which the drug incorporated in internal oil phase of O/W nano-droplets.

Methods: Hydrophobic complexes of heparin-CPβCD were prepared by electrostatic interaction. The lipophilic feature of complexes was characterized by determining their partition co-efficients. SNEDDS prototypes were prepared by mixing liquid paraffin, Tween 80, propylene glycol and ethanol, diluted 1:100 in an aqueous medium. Central composite response surface methodology was applied for statistical optimization. Independent variables were the amount of liquid paraffin and the amount of Tween 80, while responses were size and poly dispersity index (PdI). Optimized SNEDDS were studied morphologically using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In vitro release of heparin was studied in the simulated gastric and simulated intestinal media.

Results: The data revealed that in molar ratio 1:3 (heparin:CPβCD), the n-octanol recovery was maximized and reached 67.6?±?11.86%. Size, PdI, zeta potential, EE% in gastric medium and EE% in intestinal medium for optimized nano-droplets were reported as 307?±?30.51?nm, 0.236?±?0.02,?+2.1?±?0.66?mV, 90.2?±?0.04 and 96.1?±?0.73%, respectively. Microscopic images revealed spherical nano-droplets. The obtained data revealed no burst release of heparin from nano-droplets.

Conclusions: The obtained results indicate that SNEDDS could be regarded as a good candidate for oral delivery of heparin as the hydrophilic macromolecule.  相似文献

Mavlink is a lightweight and most widely used open-source communication protocol used for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Multiple UAVs and autopilot systems support it, and it provides bi-directional communication between the UAV and Ground Control Station. The communications contain critical information about the UAV status and basic control commands sent from GCS to UAV and UAV to GCS. In order to increase the transfer speed and efficiency, the Mavlink does not encrypt the messages. As a result, the protocol is vulnerable to various security attacks such as Eavesdropping, GPS Spoofing, and DDoS. In this study, we tackle the problem and secure the Mavlink communication protocol. By leveraging the Mavlink packet’s vulnerabilities, this research work introduces an experiment in which, first, the Mavlink packets are compromised in terms of security requirements based on our threat model. The results show that the protocol is insecure and the attacks carried out are successful. To overcome Mavlink security, an additional security layer is added to encrypt and secure the protocol. An encryption technique is proposed that makes the communication between the UAV and GCS secure. The results show that the Mavlink packets are encrypted using our technique without affecting the performance and efficiency. The results are validated in terms of transfer speed, performance, and efficiency compared to the literature solutions such as MAVSec and benchmarked with the original Mavlink protocol. Our achieved results have significant improvement over the literature and Mavlink in terms of security.  相似文献
