A model for surface acoustic wave (SAW) transversal filters with special attention to the system and circuit designer's point of view is summarized. In the ideal situation the SAW transversal filter is driven with a voltage and the short-circuit current is sensed, which results in a minimization of the triple transit echo distortion. The aperture (width) of the SAW device is the only parameter that is not determined by the frequency dependence of the transfer and therefore it can be used to optimize the SAW device in relation to the electronic circuitry. Noise and dynamic range calculations on an amplifier-filter-amplifier configuration, are performed. It is shown that for a low noise floor at the input of the SAW device, the aperture of this device should be chosen large. However, the dynamic range of the amplifier-filter-amplifier configuration can be maximized by choosing a small aperture.  相似文献

In an attempt to elaborate good manufacturing practices, including the collection, processing and storage of porcine gullets, their bacterial condition immediately after collection (100 samples), as well as that of deep frozen gullets just before incorporation into meat products (40 samples), was assessed. Fresh gullets were found to be contaminated to a high degree: poured plate colony count at 30°C (PPCC) approximately 10(6) to 10(7) and Enterobacteriaceae approximately 10(3) to 10(4) cfu g(-1). Deep frozen gullets showed even higher counts: PPCC approximately 10(7) to 10(8) and Enterobacteriaceae approximately 10(4) to 10(5) cfu g(-1). Hygiene during collection was visually assessed in six abattoirs and found to be satisfactory in two, moderate in three and poor in one. The effects of processing, by cleaning or removal of the mucus membrane, on bacterial condition, pH, colour and odour were assessed before and during storage at 4°C and 20°C. Both cleaning and removal of the mucus membrane resulted in up to approximately a tenfold reduction of colony counts. After 7 days' storage at 4°C these were significantly lower than those of unprocessed gullets (P < 0·01). Processed gullets stored at 4°C were no longer fit for consumption after 4 days' storage. It being impossible to achieve a marked improvement in the bacteriological condition of gullets, the incorporation of these products into sausages should be discouraged and their use in petfoods only allowed under reasonable conditions of hygiene and chilling.  相似文献

Theoretical chemistry applied to zeolite acid catalysis is becoming an important tool in the understanding of the adsorption and interaction of guest molecules with the zeolitic lattice. Especially the understanding of the mechanisms by which zeolite catalyzed chemical reactions proceed becomes possible. It is shown here that the old interpretation of carbonium and carbenium ions as intermediates for zeolite catalyzed reactions has to be replaced by a new approach in terms of positively charged transition states that are strongly stabilized by the zeolitic lattice. The large deprotonation energy of the acidic zeolite is overcome by stabilization of the intermediate or transition state positive charge by the negative charge left in the lattice. The zeolitic sites responsible for the adsorption and/or reaction of guest molecules are the Brønsted-acid and Lewis-base sites. We also show that different transition states are responsible for different kinds of reactions, such as cracking, dehydrogenation, etc.  相似文献

Gold nanoparticles used in most experiments (1–10 nm) in gold catalysis show varying degrees of reactivity, with particles below 5 nm generally being more reactive. The origin of this activity is a subject of a number of model experiments and theoretical studies on either clusters of a few atoms in size or extended surfaces (smooth or stepped). In the work described here, a classical theory for the variation of the metal workfunction with cluster size, Extended Hückel Theory (EHT) calculations combined with DFT calculations, as well as a carbon monoxide (CO) chemisorption model are combined to develop a relationship between metal particle size and the particle's reactivity towards CO. For gold, it is shown that while the contribution of the d-band hybridization energy to the total CO chemisorption energy is unfavourable for bulk gold, this is not true for gold particles below 5–6 nm. That is, the d-band hybridization energy is negative for small gold particles. This is believed to be explanation of the onset of high reactivity for small gold particles.  相似文献

The paper presents sufficient conditions for modular (supervisory) control synthesis to equal global control synthesis. In modular control synthesis a supervisory control is synthesized for each module separately and the supervisory control consists of the parallel composition of the modular supervisory controls. The general case of the specification that is indecomposable and not necessarily contained in the plant language, which is often the case in practice, is considered. The usual assumption that all shared events are controllable is relaxed by introducing two new structural conditions relying on the global mutual controllability condition. The novel concept used as a sufficient structural condition is strong global mutual controllability. The main result uses a weaker condition called global mutual controllability together with local consistency of the specification. An example illustrates the approach.  相似文献

A nonintrusive laser technique, based on the detection of a rainbow, is presented that permits one to determine simultaneously the temperature and size of droplets. Therefore the Airy theory for a rainbow and a calibration rainbow pattern at isothermal conditions are applied. Rainbow patterns coming from droplets in the millimeter range have been recorded on a linear CCD array. It has been found that the sphericity of the droplets plays an important role for this rainbow-based technique.  相似文献

The effects of gap width on the transmission coefficient of vacuum-ultraviolet light through submicrometer-period, freestanding transmission gratings are reported. Results from computations and an analytical waveguide model are shown to be consistent with experimental measurements. These results show that thin gratings with narrow gaps and thick gratings with wide gaps are equally effective at eliminating 121.6-nm radiation. The thin gratings with the narrow gaps have the advantage of better attenuation of shorter-wavelength radiation than the thick gratings with the larger gaps.  相似文献

Conclusions Diastolic LV function and myocardial HEP metabolism are impaired only when LVH is caused by permanent pressure or volume overload, and not by a temporary increase in cardiac workload during part of the day as in elite athletes. Therefore, training-induced and pressure/volume-overload-induced LVH seem to represent different phenotypes of LVH, possibly related to genetic reprogramming which only occurs during permanent cardiac overload [17]. Moreover, there is an association between impaired LV diastolic function and altered myocardial HEP metabolism in patients with hypertension and in patients with aortic valve disease. Finally we did not find a correlation between myocardial HEP metabolism and LV mass in any of the groups studied. The latter indicates that LVH should be regarded as an epiphenomenon to cardiac overload, and not as a primary factor causing abnormal HEP metabolism.  相似文献
