The paper proposes a location-aware mobile Intrusion Prevention System (mIPS) architecture with enhanced privacy that is integrated in Managed Security Service (MSS). The solution is envisaged in a future fifth generation telecommunications (5G) context with increased but varying bandwidth, a virtualised execution environment and infrastructure that allows threads, processes, virtual machines and storage to be migrated to cloud computing services on demand, to dynamically scale performance and save power. 5G mobile devices will be attractive targets for malicious software, and this threat will in some cases change with location. Mobile devices will store more sensitive information and will also be used to a larger extent for sensitive transactions than they typically do today. In addition, a distributed execution environment in itself gives raise to some new security challenges. In order to handle these security challenges, we have proposed the location-aware mIPS architecture, which benefits from a distributed execution environment where processor intensive services can be outsourced to Cloud hosting providers. The mIPS supports querying location threat profiles in a privacy-preserving way, and ensures that mIPS alerts sent to the the first-line MSS are anonymised. We finally perform an analysis of potential strengths and weaknesses of the proposed approach.  相似文献

Topic modeling is a type of statistical model for discovering the latent “topics” that occur in a collection of documents through machine learning. Currently, latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) is a popular and common modeling approach. In this paper, we investigate methods, including LDA and its extensions, for separating a set of scientific publications into several clusters. To evaluate the results, we generate a collection of documents that contain academic papers from several different fields and see whether papers in the same field will be clustered together. We explore potential scientometric applications of such text analysis capabilities.  相似文献

Thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection (TAAD) is a major cause of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Loss-of-function variants in LOX, encoding the extracellular matrix crosslinking enzyme lysyl oxidase, have been reported to cause familial TAAD. Using a next-generation TAAD gene panel, we identified five additional probands carrying LOX variants, including two missense variants affecting highly conserved amino acids in the LOX catalytic domain and three truncating variants. Connective tissue manifestations are apparent in a substantial fraction of the variant carriers. Some LOX variant carriers presented with TAAD early in life, while others had normal aortic diameters at an advanced age. Finally, we identified the first patient with spontaneous coronary artery dissection carrying a LOX variant. In conclusion, our data demonstrate that loss-of-function LOX variants cause a spectrum of aortic and arterial aneurysmal disease, often combined with connective tissue findings.  相似文献

In this paper we will give a simple approach to determining conditions for stability of feedback systems subject to perturbations in the operators describing these systems. The approach is based on techniques used in functional analysis, and provides an alternative development and generalization of some conditions for the linear time-invariant case that have appeared in the literature very recently. Leg tracking is an established field in mobile robotics and machine vision in general. These algorithms, however, only distinguish the scene between leg and nonleg detections. In application fields like firefighting, where people tend to choose squatting or crouching over standing postures, those methods will inevitably fail. Further, tracking based on a single sensor system may reduce the overall reliability if brought to outdoor or complex environments with limited vision on the target objectives. Therefore, we extend our recent work to a multiposture detection system based on laser and radar sensors, that are fused to allow for maximal reliability and accuracy in scenarios as complex as indoor firefighting with vastly limited vision. The proposed tracking pipeline is trained and extensively validated on a new data set. We show that the radar tracker reaches state-of-the-art performance, and that laser and fusion tracker outperform recent methods.  相似文献

The efficiency of heat engines is significantly influenced by heat recovery in recuperators. In the case of the Bush-type isobaric expansion engine (IEE), a heat engine that can be operated with heat sources starting from 60°C, the thermal efficiency increases significantly through the use of recuperators. At the same time, internal fluid volumes of the heat exchanger and the pressure loss arising during operation have a negative effect on the thermal efficiency. In this work, the interaction between dead volume, pressure loss and heat recovery is investigated and recommendations for the operation of recuperators in the isobaric expansion engine are given.  相似文献
