When reaction-bonded silicon nitride containing MgO/Y2O3 additives is sintered at three different temperatures to form sintered reaction-bonded silicon nitride (SRBSN), the thermal conductivity increases with sintering temperature. The β-Si3N4 (silicon nitride) crystals of SRBSN ceramics were synthesized and characterized to investigate the relation between the crystal structure and the lattice oxygen content. The hot-gas extraction measurement result and the crystal structure obtained using Rietveld analysis suggested that the unit cell size of the β-Si3N4 crystal increases with the decrease in the lattice oxygen content. This result is reasonable considering that the lattice oxygen with the smaller covalent radius substitutes nitrogen with the larger one in the β-Si3N4 crystals. The lattice oxygen content decreased with increasing sintering temperature which also correlated with increase in thermal conductivity. Moreover, it is noteworthy from the viewpoint that it may be possible to apply the lattice constant analysis for the nondestructive and simple measurement of the lattice oxygen content that deteriorates the thermal conductivity of the β-Si3N4 ceramics. 相似文献

A desktop multiprocess machinery has been designed that has two concepts: miniaturizing of machine tool and multiprocessing with a same machine tool. The prototype of desktop multiprocess machinery is developed in this study. This is tabletop size machine tool that has five changeable machining heads. Outline of main body and machining head are presented.In order to know the basic accuracy of desktop multiprocess machinery, experimental evaluation is carried out. Machining head setting error, stiffness of multiprocess machinery and straightness of X, Y, Z stage is measured. To study the basic performance of desktop multiprocess machinery, a complex machining experiment is carried out with the developed machine tool. The complex machining consists of three steps: electrode machining by milling, hole shaping by EDM, and hole finishing by ECM. These steps are performed in sequence on the same machine tool. The complex machining is successfully carried out. In order to evaluate the desktop multiprocess machinery from environmental point of view, machining energy, volume of machining liquid, and installation space of desktop multiprocess machinery are measured. The measured values are compared with estimated values with conventional machine tools. The machining energy, the volume of machining liquid, and the installation space of desktop multiprocess machinery are smaller than those of conventional machine tool. 相似文献

Recently, many extensive studies have been conducted on robot control via self-positioning estimation techniques. In the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) method, which is one approach to self-positioning estimation, robots generally use both autonomous position information from internal sensors and observed information on external landmarks. SLAM can yield higher accuracy positioning estimations depending on the number of landmarks; however, this technique involves a degree of uncertainty and has a high computational cost, because it utilizes image processing to detect and recognize landmarks. To overcome this problem, we propose a state-of-the-art method called a generalized measuring-worm (GMW) algorithm for map creation and position estimation, which uses multiple cooperating robots that serve as moving landmarks for each other. This approach allows problems of uncertainty and computational cost to be overcome, because a robot must find only a simple two-dimensional marker rather than feature-point landmarks. In the GMW method, the robots are given a two-dimensional marker of known shape and size and use a front-positioned camera to determine the marker distance and direction. The robots use this information to estimate each other’s positions and to calibrate their movement. To evaluate the proposed method experimentally, we fabricated two real robots and observed their behavior in an indoor environment. People routinely carry mobile devices in their daily lives and obtain a variety of information from the Internet in many different situations. In searching for information (content) with a mobile device, a user’s activity (e.g., moving or stationary) and context (e.g., commuting in the morning or going downtown in the evening) often change, and such changes can affect the user’s degree of concentration on his or her mobile device’s display and information needs. Therefore, a search system should provide the user with an amount of information suitable for the current activity and a type of information suitable for the current context. In this study, we present the design and implementation of a content search system that considers a mobile user’s activity and context, with the goal of reducing the user’s operation load for content search. The proposed system switches between two kinds of content search systems according to the user’s activity: the location-based content search system is activated when the user is stationary (e.g., standing and sitting), while a menu-based content search system is activated when the user is moving (e.g., walking). Both systems present information according to user context. The location-based system presents detailed information via menus and a map according to location-based categories. The menu-based system presents only a few options to enable users to get content easily. Through user experiments, we confirmed that participants could get desired information more easily with this system than with a commercial search system. 相似文献

The demand for microactuators is increasing recently. The key technology to realizing practical microactuators is microfabrication process. In the production of microminiature components, the technologies for processing high-aspect-ratio structures are essential. As one of these technologies, the LIGA process is widely known. Our laboratory researches the LIGA process to three-dimensional microfabrication and established the cylindrical-microcoil production process. In this paper, we have fabricated the cylindrical-microcoil for the solenoidal electromagnetic type microactuator. We designed and analyzed microactuators, and fabricated and evaluated microactuator coils produced by the combination of three-dimensional X-ray lithography and level copper plating. We succeeded in creating threaded groove-shaped structures with 10 μm line width, 20 μm pitch, and aspect ratio of 5 on the surface of an acrylic pipe by means of three-dimensional X-ray lithography. As a measure to suppress void generation, which is one of the shortcomings of electrolytic plating processes, the sputtering apparatus and plating equipment were improved, a pretreatment process was additionally provided, and the actual electrolytic plating method was improved. As a result, a void-free metallic deposit could be formed on a thin coil line. The processing technology enables the formation of thin-wire coil lines whose current paths feature a large allowable current-carrying capacity, enabling the production of miniature, high-output microactuators. 相似文献

X-ray imaging is a very important technology in the fields of medical, biological, inspection, material science, etc. However, it is not enough to get the clear X-ray imaging with low absorbance. We have produced a diffraction gratings for obtaining high resolution X-ray phase imaging, such as X-ray Talbot interferometer. In this X-ray Talbot interferometer, diffraction gratings were required to have a fine, high accuracy, high aspect ratio structure. Then, we succeeded to fabricate a high aspect ratio diffraction grating with a pitch of 8 μm and small area using a deep X-ray lithography technique. We discuss that the diffraction gratings having a narrow pitch and an large effective area to obtain imaging size of practical use in medical application. If the pitch of diffraction gratings were narrow, it is expected high resolution imaging for X-ray Talbot interferometer. We succeeded and fabricated the diffraction grating with pitch of 5.3 μm, Au height of 28 μm and an effective area of 60 × 60 mm2. 相似文献

Rotating bending fatigue tests were conducted using type 316 stainless steel. The fatigue tests were periodically terminated, and fatigue damage and fatigue crack initiation were non‐destructively and sequentially evaluated by positron annihilation line‐shape and lifetime analyses. The counter‐jig and anticoincidence methods were used for positron annihilation line‐shape and lifetime analyses, respectively, to enhance the analytical precision. The fatigue crack lengths were monitored by a plastic replication technique, and related to the parameters in both analyses. S‐parameter obtained in the line‐shape analysis increased with increasing fatigue damage, while it was difficult to detect fatigue crack initiation and subsequent small fatigue crack growth. That was because the precision of line‐shape analysis was limited. On the other hand, both fatigue damage and fatigue crack initiation were successfully detected by lifetime analysis. Positron annihilation lifetime also increased with increasing fatigue damage, and lifetime was longer at the notch root with fatigue crack than at the smooth section without crack. It was considered that the precision of lifetime analysis was high enough to detect high dislocation density areas at the fatigue crack tips. 相似文献

The intercalation reaction of n-alkylamines from methyl- to hexadecylamine into -tin(IV) bis(hydrogenphosphate) has been investigated. The reaction was conducted by mixing the phosphate and solutions of the amines dissolved in water or benzene. The amine/ phosphate molar ratios in the reaction mixtures were 0.43, 0.85, 1.71 and 3.41. The nitrogen/phosphorus atomic ratio in the intercalation compound was not changed by the amine/phosphate molar ratio. The interlayer distances of the intercalates obtained in the reaction mixtures with molar ratios of 3.41 and 1.71 increased with an increase in the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chain of the amine. The slope of the straight line obtained in plot of interlayer distance versus number of carbon atoms in the alkyl chain of the amine indicates that the amine molecules form a double layer in the interlayer space of the phosphate and are inclined at an approximate angle of 67.7° to the phosphate layer. The interlayer distances of the intercalates of butyl- to nonylamines obtained at the molar ratio of 0.85 are smaller than those of the corresponding compounds from the molar ratios of 3.41 and 1.71, while those of decyl- to hexadecylamine intercalates lie on the previously discussed line. This behaviour is interpreted by assuming kink formation in the short alkyl chains between the phosphate layers. 相似文献
