By embedding properly arranged L-shaped slots in a circular patch, a novel broadband dual-frequency design is proposed and experimentally studied. With the use of an L-strip microstrip line for feeding the proposed antenna, the impedance bandwidths, determined from 10 dB return loss, of two operating bands can reach about 7.0% to 12.5% for the lower band and 18.9% to 21.5% for the higher band. Operating frequencies across the obtained lower and higher bands are of the same polarization planes, and have a tunable frequency ratio between the center frequencies of the two operating bands ranging from about 1.31-1.61. The application of the proposed antenna to the design of a 2 /spl times/ 2 broadband dual-frequency patch antenna array is also demonstrated. Details of the proposed broadband dual-frequency design are described, and experimental results of the constructed prototypes are presented and discussed. 相似文献

This paper studies TCP performance in a stationary multihop wireless network using IEEE 802.11 for channel access control. We first show that, given a specific network topology and flow patterns, there exists an optimal window size W* at which TCP achieves the highest throughput via maximum spatial reuse of the shared wireless channel. However, TCP grows its window size much larger than W* leading to throughput reduction. We then explain the TCP throughput decrease using our observations and analysis of the packet loss in an overloaded multihop wireless network. We find out that the network overload is typically first signified by packet drops due to wireless link-layer contention, rather than buffer overflow-induced losses observed in the wired Internet. As the offered load increases, the probability of packet drops due to link contention also increases, and eventually saturates. Unfortunately the link-layer drop probability is insufficient to keep the TCP window size around W'*. We model and analyze the link contention behavior, based on which we propose link RED that fine-tunes the link-layer packet dropping probability to stabilize the TCP window size around W*. We further devise adaptive pacing to better coordinate channel access along the packet forwarding path. Our simulations demonstrate 5 to 30 percent improvement of TCP throughput using the proposed two techniques. 相似文献

Potassium‐ion hybrid capacitors (PIHCs) show great potential in large‐scale energy storage due to the advantages of electrochemical capacitors and potassium‐ion batteries. However, their development remains at the preliminary stage and is mainly limited by the kinetic imbalance between the two electrodes. Herein, an architecture of NbSe2 nanosheets embedded in N, Se co‐doped carbon nanofibers (NbSe2/NSeCNFs) as flexible, free‐standing, and binder‐free anodes for PIHCs is reported. The NbSe2/NSeCNFs with hierarchically porous structure and N, Se co‐doping afford highly efficient channels for fast transportation of potassium ions and electrons during repeated cycling process. Furthermore, excellent electrochemical reversibility of the NbSe2/NSeCNFs electrode is demonstrated through in situ XRD, in situ Raman, ex situ transmission electron microscopy and element mapping. Thus, PIHCs with the NbSe2/NSeCNFs anode and active carbon cathode achieve a high energy of 145 W h kg?1 at a current density of 50 mA g?1, as well as an ultra‐long cycle life of over 10 000 cycles at a high current density of 2 A g?1. These results indicate that the assembled PIHCs display great potential for applications in the field of ultra‐long cycling energy storage devices. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigated the microstructure and electrical properties of Bi2SiO5 (BSO) doped SrBi2Ta2O9 (SBT) films deposited by chemical solution deposition. X-ray diffraction observation indicated that the crystalline structures of all the BSO-doped SBT films are nearly the same as those of a pure SBT film. Through BSO doping, the 2Pr and 2Ec values of SBT films were changed from 15.3 μC/cm2 and 138 kV/cm of pure SBT to 1.45 μC/cm2 and 74 kV/cm of 10 wt.% BSO-doped SBT. The dielectric constant at 1 MHz for SBT varied from 199 of pure SBT to 96 of 10 wt.% BSO-doped SBT. The doped SBT films exhibited higher leakage current than that of non-doped SBT films. Nevertheless, all the doped SBT films still had small dielectric loss and low leakage current. Our present work will provide useful insights into the BSO doping effects to the SBT films, and it will be helpful for the material design in the future nonvolatile ferroelectric memories. 相似文献
