In this paper a wafer-level process is proposed to fully integrate carbon-based micro-supercapacitor onto silicon substrate. This process relies on the deposition of a paste containing carbon, PVDF and acetone into cavities etched in silicon. After electrolyte deposition in a controlled atmosphere, a wafer-level encapsulation is realized. Cyclic voltammetry performed on non-encapsulated micro-components showed specific energy of 257 mJ cm−2 for 336 μm deep cavities. The specific encapsulation process developed was tested separately and proved to be efficient in terms of resistance to organic electrolytes and mechanical strength.  相似文献

The present study deals with the short-term physicochemical reactions at the interface between bioactive glass particles [55SiO(2)-20CaO-9P(2)O(5)-12Na(2)O-4MgO. mol%] and biological fluid (Dulbecco Modified Eagle's Medium (DMEM)). The physicochemical reactions within the interface are characterized by scanning transmission electron microscopy (TEM) (STEM) associated with Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). Microanalysis of diffusible ions such as sodium, potassium, or oxygen requires a special care. In the present investigation the cryo-technique was adopted as a suitable tool for the specimen preparation and characterization. Cryosectioning is essential for preserving the native distribution of ions so that meaningful information about the local concentrations can be obtained by elemental microanalysis. The bioglass particles immersed in biological fluid for 24 h revealed five reaction stages: (i) dealkalization of the surface by cationic exchange (Na(+), Ca(2+) with H(+) or H(3)O(+)); (ii) loss of soluble silica in the form of Si(OH)(4) to the solution resulting from the breakdown of Si--O--Si bonds (iii); repolymerization of Si(OH)(4) leading to condensation of SiO(2)); (iv) migration of Ca(2+) and PO(4) (3-) to the surface through the SiO(2)-rich layer to form CaO-P(2)O(5) film; (v) crystallization of the amorphous CaO-P(2)O(5) by incorporating OH-- or CO(3) (2-) anions with the formation of three different surface layers on the bioactive glass periphery. The thickness of each layer is approximately 300 nm and from the inner part to the periphery they consist of Si--OH, which permits the diffusion of Ca(2+) and PO(4) (3-) ions and the formation of the middle Ca--P layer, and finally the outer layer composed of Na--O, which acts as an ion exchange layer between Na(+) ions and H(+) or H(3)O(+) from the solution.  相似文献

Variations of sediment type (grain size and refractive index) and changing illumination conditions affect the reflectance signal of coastal waters and limit the accuracy of sediment-concentration estimations from remote-sensing measurements. These effects are analyzed from numerous in situ remote-sensing measurements carried out in the Gironde and Loire Estuaries and then reduced and partly eliminated when reflectance ratios between the near infrared and the visible are considered. These ratios showed high correlation with the sediment concentration. On the basis of the obtained relationships, performing correspondence functions were established that allow an accurate estimation of suspended sediments in the estuaries from Système Probatoire d'Observation de la Terre, Landsat, and Sea-Viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor data, independently of the date of acquisition.  相似文献

The management of trees in urban areas requires accurate maps, which are difficult to build in the dense patchwork of numerous material properties. Remote sensing is a useful technique that measures the response of all vegetation occurrences, including trees, when high spatial resolution is available. The continuous narrow spectral bands of hyperspectral images enable the detection of the oxygen and water content, which ensures a perfect correction of the atmospheric effect. When calibrated, sunlight reflectance images can be used to map surface chemical compositions by the detection of diagnostic and sharp absorption features. In the visible and near- infrared, the vegetation is detected by chlorophyll-a absorption features that are characteristic of the pigment content. The reflectance intensities due to the texture of leaves occur between 450 and 920 nm while the water content imprint is detectable beyond 920 nm. The sharp spectral feature intensities of the main associated pigments, not only chlorophylls, are well quantified by indices measuring a normalized difference of reflectance in a spectral interval between two bounding wavelengths. A regression line calculated on all bands within that interval ensures a low sensitivity of the indices to the smaller variations in reflectance intensity. Such unbiased indices may be combined, using successive index thresholds deduced from a training spectral library, to divide the spectra into subsets, minimizing the confusion between the numerous vegetation types with almost identical compositions. Therefore, for each subset of the spectra, a classic spectral angle mapping (SAM) method can be used on the corresponding sub-selection of the spectral library to measure angles at full spectral resolution and map tree types with great accuracy, grouped according to their spectral similarity. In this study, chemical and physical information is carefully separated. The tree crown physical properties are studied by comparing the local juxtaposition of pixel sets to a characteristic texture identifiable by image segmentation into objects. Instead of looking for objects in the reflectance image or any statistical compression of its information, a 25 channel co-image, built from 11 information layers of chemical sharp spectral feature indices and 14 information layers of SAM indices matching a spectral library of reference vegetation groups, was used. Tree canopies also present wide internal variations due to (i) a complex mixture with a background in the case of sparse foliage, or (ii) pigment content adaptation to light exposure intensity from one side to another. Both effects are minimized by using the mean spectrum of each object, assuming that less significant spectra, being at plus or minus one or two standard deviations from an object mean spectrum, would be less affected by anomalous pixel data. Thus, two overlapping hierarchic layers at the pixel scale and the object scale are available to describe the main chemistry or pigment content that identifies the vegetation types. The final classification is given by the upper layer at the object scale but in such an organization, the pixel scale layers can be used to analyse the data further and reorder them to obtain other parameters potentially useful for management purposes.  相似文献

Penile plethysmography (PPG) is the gold standard for the assessment of sexual interests, especially among sex offenders of children. Nonetheless, this method faces some ethical limitations inherent to the nature of its stimuli and could benefit from the improvement of its ecological validity. The use of computer-generated characters (CGC) in virtual immersion for PPG assessment might help address these issues. A new application developed to design made-to-measure anatomically correct virtual characters compatible with the Tanner developmental stages is presented. The main purpose of this study was to determine how the virtual reality (VR) modality compares to the standard auditory modality on their capacity to generate sexual arousal profiles and deviance differentials indicative of sexual interests. The erectile responses of 22 sex offenders of children and 42 non-deviant adult males were recorded. While both stimulus modalities generated significantly different genital arousal profiles for sex offenders of children and non-deviant males, deviance differentials calculated from the VR modality allowed for significantly higher classification accuracy. Performing receiver operating characteristic analyses further assessed discriminant potential. Auditory modality yielded an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.79 (SE = 0.059) while CGC in VR yielded an AUC of 0.90 (SE = 0.052). Overall, results suggest that the VR modality allows significantly better group classification accuracy and discriminant validity than audio stimuli, which provide empirical support for the use of this new method for PPG assessment. Additionally, the potential use of VR in interventions pertaining to self-regulation of sexual offending is addressed in conclusion.  相似文献

The overlapping of activities is a common practice to accelerate the execution of engineering projects. This technique consists in executing in parallel two activities, normally executed in a sequential way, by allowing the downstream activity to start before the end of the upstream activity based on preliminary information. In this paper, we propose a constructive heuristic for the resource-constrained project scheduling problem with overlapping modes (RCPSP-OM). Given a set of activities to execute, the RCPSP-OM consists in determining the order of execution in time of a set of activities so as to minimize the total project duration, while respecting precedence relations, resource constraints and overlapping possibilities. The heuristic implies that rework tasks related to overlapping are added to downstream activities and that the consumption of the resources is constant throughout the execution of the project (including rework). The method also considers that the possible overlapping modes for every couple of activities and the duration of rework tasks associated with every mode are known in advance. Results show that, when the objective consists in minimizing the project duration, the consideration of the costs associated to activity overlapping allows to significantly reducing the cost of reworks. On the other hand, when the objective consists in maximizing the gains related to the project execution, the search for the best trade-off between acceleration and increase of project costs enables to avoid losses.  相似文献

The objective of this work is to evaluate the quality of the zonal airflow predictions compared to those provided by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools for an isothermal airflow induced in a room by a linear ceiling diffuser. This comparative analysis was conducted for a typical rectangular office designed for two people, considering two different arrangements of obstacles within the room volume. The ventilation was provided by a four-way ceiling diffuser type with large aspect ratio slots, the outlet integrated into it, operating in a three-way mode with slot Reynolds number of 2700. As a result, the airflow was transitional or weakly turbulent. The airflow patterns obtained with the zonal models were first compared qualitatively with the CFD computations. A quantitative comparison based on the mean velocities at the interface of the zonal grid was then carried out. The characteristic features of the zonal predictions are shown and the limitations of the zonal and CFD approaches are discussed.  相似文献

Forest cover decline is one of the most important environmental issues in the tropics. The present study was carried out in Burkina Faso, West Africa, and aimed at assessing the trajectories of forest cover change and measuring landscape metrics of the trajectory classes in order to better understand the processes of change. Landsat and ASTER images acquired over a period of 30 years were used for cover change detection and the Fragstats package was used to compute landscape metrics with five unifying change classes. Results showed a substantial increase in cropland with concurrent decline in forest cover. Deforestation represented 63% of the Percentage of Landscape (PLAND) in 2006, while reforestation accounted for only 28%. Both of these classes had high Normalized Landscape Shape Index (NLSI) values, indicating that they were present as scattered small patches. The old cultivation (30-year permanent cropland) was aggregated (IJI ≈ 0) while deforestation exhibited highly interspersed patches. The old forest and old cultivation presented lower Area Weighted Fractal Dimension Index (FRAC_AM), but deforestation and reforestation had the higher FRAC_AM. These results confirmed that there was a high level of deforestation and fragmentation in southern Burkina Faso and justify the need for a proper management plan to ensure the sustainable use of forest resources.  相似文献

Zn–Ni composite coatings were obtained by electrochemical co-deposition of TiO2 nano-particles (mean diameter 21 nm). Zn–Ni alloy coating was also produced under the same experimental conditions for comparison. The surface morphology, crystallographic structure, and the grain size of the deposits were investigated, along with the percentage of the embedded nano-particles in Zn–Ni matrix, as a function of concentration of TiO2 nano-particles in the bath. As the titania incorporation percentage is increased, a grain refinement in the nanometer region was revealed followed enhanced microhardness values and an improvement of the content of the nickel in the alloy. Annealing of all coatings at 200 °C revealed the crystallization of the matrix accompanied by a decrease of microhardness followed by stability for 24 h. The corrosion behavior of Zn–Ni/nano-TiO2 composite coatings with various amount of particle content was mainly studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 3 % NaCl. It was seen that Zn–Ni/nano-TiO2 composite coatings exhibited higher corrosion resistances comparing to Zn–Ni alloy coating and corrosion protection improved with increasing nano-TiO2 in coatings.  相似文献

Inherited retinal degenerations (IRD) are a leading cause of visual impairment and can result from mutations in any one of a multitude of genes. Mutations in the light-sensing protein rhodopsin (RHO) is a leading cause of IRD with the most common of those being a missense mutation that results in substitution of proline-23 with histidine. This variant, also known as P23H-RHO, results in rhodopsin misfolding, initiation of endoplasmic reticulum stress, the unfolded protein response, and activation of cell death pathways. In this study, we investigate the effect of α-crystallins on photoreceptor survival in a mouse model of IRD secondary to P23H-RHO. We find that knockout of either αA- or αB-crystallin results in increased intraretinal inflammation, activation of apoptosis and necroptosis, and photoreceptor death. Our data suggest an important role for the ⍺-crystallins in regulating photoreceptor survival in the P23H-RHO mouse model of IRD.  相似文献
