Slices (1.5 mm thick) of green papaya were impregnated through osmotic dehydration with a blackberry juice–sucrose solution to produce an intermediate moisture product. The effect of processing temperature (T) and sucrose-added molality (msucrose) on mass transfer during the operation was assessed, using a response surface methodology (RSM). The RSM was used to model water loss, sugar and anthocyanin gain during the process. Increasing sucrose molality resulted in increasing water loss and sugar gain, but decreasing anthocyanin gain. Water transfer therefore limits anthocyanin impregnation, but not sucrose incorporation. Afterwards, the impact of heat treatment at high temperatures was analysed, using numerical simulation. The conditions of the combined process, designed to achieve an anthocyanin-rich final product, are low sucrose-added molalities (sucrose molality < 1 mol kg–1) and high processing temperatures (> 50 ºC) for osmotic dehydration, coupled with high-temperature, short-time (HTST) heat treatments for product stabilisation.  相似文献

The inertial stabilisation of the line of sight of an imager fixed on a mobile carrier is considered in order to acquire good quality images despite the disturbances generated by the carrier. A double stage mechanical stabilisation architecture is proposed, where a second stabilisation stage, based on a piezoelectric actuator, is added to the usual structure. The piezoelectric actuator transfer function and hysteresis are characterised through experiments. In order to design the controllers of both stages, a high-level image quality criterion (the modulation transfer function (MTF)) is considered, together with design constraints on the main variables of interest. The criterion and the constraints are evaluated by realistic simulations based on some input and noise profiles measured on a real-life system. The MTF evaluation being time-consuming, a Bayesian optimisation method specially dedicated to expensive-to-evaluate functions is used to obtain the parameters of the controllers. The obtain experimental results are displayed and their performances discussed.  相似文献

Evaluation of commercially available polyurethane resins used up to now for coating applications to develop non-biocidal wood preservation treatments has been conducted. A simple method of vacuum impregnation of these resins into beech wood (Fagus sylvatica L.) and pine wood (Pinus sylvestris L.) samples followed by varied curing processes at ambient temperature, 103, and 200 °C has been performed. Based on the analysis of weight percent gain before and after leaching, treatment resistance to leaching, anti-swelling efficiency, wettability and decay durability measured for treated and untreated blocks after leaching with the white-rot fungus Coriolus versicolor for both wood species and the brown-rot fungi Poria placenta and Gloeophyllum trabeum for pine wood, it can be concluded that such treatment can be considered as potential valuable non-biocidal treatments.  相似文献

The composite textile reinforcement draping simulations allows the conditions for a successful process to be determined and, most importantly, the positions of the fibres after forming to be known. This last point is essential for the structural computations of the composite part and for resin injection analyses in the case of LCM processes. Because the textile composite reinforcements are multiscale materials, continuous (macro) approaches and discrete (meso) approaches that model the yarns have been developed. The finite element that is proposed in this paper for textile fabric forming is composed of woven unit cells. The mechanical behaviour of these is analyzed by 3D computations at the mesoscale regarding biaxial tensions and in plane shear. The warp and weft directions of the woven fabric can be in arbitrary direction with respect to the direction of the element side. This is very important in the case of multi-ply deep drawing and when using remeshing. The element is efficient because it is close to the physic of the woven cell while avoiding the very large number of unknowns in the discrete approach. A set of validation tests and forming simulations on single ply and multi-ply are presented and show the efficiency of the approach. In particular the importance of the in-plane shear behaviour is emphasized in the case of a draping on a cube.  相似文献

A new protocol is implemented to demonstrate the presence of blood in the patina of African art objects from Mali. Divided into three steps, the protocol first consists in demonstrating the presence of proteins and localizing them in the sample's cross sections using time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) and synchrotron-based infrared microspectrometry (microFT-IR). In a second time, TOF-SIMS is used to investigate heme, which is a blood marker. If heme is missing, which could mean that it is too degraded to be detected, X-ray microfluorescence (microXRF) and X-ray absorption near-edge microspectroscopy (microXANES) are used to prove the presence of iron in the protein area and to get a fingerprint of its chemical environment. This permits us thus to demonstrate that iron is indeed linked with proteins and not with mineral phases of the sample. Coupled with the ritual context of the objects, this constitutes a proof of the use of blood. Thanks to this protocol, which has the major advantage of avoiding false positive results, the presence of blood has been demonstrated in seven out of the eight studied samples.  相似文献

For over 20 years, predictive microbiology focused on food-pathogenic bacteria. Few studies concerned modelling fungal development. On one hand, most of food mycologists are not familiar with modelling techniques; on the other hand, people involved in modelling are developing tools dedicated to bacteria. Therefore, there is a tendency to extend the use of models that were developed for bacteria to moulds. However, some mould specificities should be taken into account. The use of specific models for predicting germination and growth of fungi was advocated previously []. This paper provides a short review of fungal modelling studies.  相似文献
