A possible application of AgInTe2 for optoelectronic switching is reported. Alternating and direct current (a.c. and d.c.) response of the material has been studied over a wide frequency range (5 Hz to 1 MHz) through measurements of conductance, capacitance and photocurrent at different temperature and illumination levels. The switching/recovery time has been analysed in terms of time constant and found to be of the order of microseconds for this material. Higher frequencies of operation (>40 kHz) are preferable because, at such frequencies, becomes almost independent of illumination level and temperature. Furthermore, the switching speed can be conveniently controlled with d.c. bias applied across the sample. Elliott's CBH model has been satisfactorily used to explain the switching behaviour for AgInTe2.  相似文献

The main objective of this paper is to demonstrate the feasibility of Internet‐based real‐time control. A novel client/server‐based architecture for Internet‐based supervisory control with a Common Gateway Interface/Hyper Text Markup Language (CGI/HTML) interface is presented. A real‐time operating environment was established for closed‐loop control over Ethernet. We conceived of an autoregressive (AR) prediction scheme and a novel compensation algorithm to compensate for network‐induced time delays and data‐packet losses simultaneously. We constructed an open‐loop unstable ball magnetic‐levitation (maglev) setup as a test bed to validate the two proposed control architectures. Experimental results proved the feasibility of Internet‐based real‐time control and verified the effectiveness of the proposed time‐delay/packet‐loss compensation algorithm in networked feedback control systems.  相似文献

We study the issue of asymptotic stability of a family of rate control algorithms with communication delays between network elements and extend our earlier results: First, we derive delay-dependent stability conditions with a family of well-known utility and resource price functions when a finite upper bound is known on the feedback delay. These conditions are shown to be consistent with known stability conditions in two extreme cases-no delay or an arbitrarily large delay. Secondly, we provide a lower bound on the convergence rate with the same utility and resource price functions when delay-independent stability conditions hold.  相似文献

Every year thousands of urban and industrial fires occur, which leads to the destruction of infrastructure, buildings, and loss of lives. One of the reasons behind this is the delayed transmission of information to the fire station and the nearer hospitals for ambulance service as the transmission of information is dependent on observer at the location where the fire is caught and cellular network. This paper proposed an automated routing protocol for the urban vehicular ad-hoc network to send the information from the location where the fire is caught to the nearest fire stations and hospitals with optimum service time. This transmission of information involves Road Side Unit (RSU) at the junction and the vehicles present in the transmission path. Selection of route to transmit faulty vehicle information from the RSU to the required faulty vehicle is based on a parameter called path value. The computation of path value is done by the attributes such as expected End To End (E2E) delay, the shortest distance to destination, the density of vehicle between the junctions, and attenuation. From the current junction, the selection of the next junction is based on minimum path value. The proposed routing protocol considers the performance parameters such as E2E delay, total service time (TST), number of network fragments or network gaps, number of hops, and attenuation for the propagation path for the evaluation of the proposed methodology. The proposed routing algorithm is implemented through OmNet++ and SUMO. Results obtained for the proposed routing protocol is compared with three existing VANET protocols (GSR, A-STAR, and ARP) in terms of End To End delay, number of hops, number of vehicular gaps, and Total Service Time (TST).
