Synthesis of Heterocyclic Compounds with Hydroxymethylene Ketones. XIV. Contribution to the Regioselectivity of the Reaction of Acetoacetaldehyde with Tryptamine The range of substitution products of tryptamine with acetoacetaldehyde as substituent at the basic or the indole nitrogen ( 2, 3 ) is completed by a product containing the substituent in the indole α-position ( 5 ). It is formed by ring opening of the tetrahydro-β-carboline 4 . The reaction conditions are commented and the 1H-NMR spectra comparatively discussed. Controlling access in pervasive environments is crucial and a significant challenge because users and devices can connect from anywhere which results in users and resources becoming available at any point of time and location depending on the situation. Access control policies for this type of environment are required to conform to high-level business notions. In pervasive environments, these high-level notions refer to contexts of the situation which can change unpredictably and must be interpreted semantically to maintain proper access control. Therefore, it is necessary to have a formal representation that represents semantics of the contexts, reflects the change of the situation, and can be shared and understood by a policy system. This paper addresses these issues by introducing a context management system that uses a semantic web approach as an underlying mechanism to model and represent semantics of the contexts. The system stores current contexts in a semantic knowledge base which is used by a semantic access control system in order to form access control policies and evaluate policies at run time. The approach is validated through a proof of concept implementation that includes performance results of the context management system as it responds to a change of the situation.  相似文献

In hybrid renewable energy systems, batteries act as a DC bus to provide constant voltage and to smooth out commutations between the generating devices. These batteries are usually of a lead-acid type and operate under harsh variable conditions due to fluctuations of both solar radiation and wind speed. Precise knowledge of the state-of-charge of the batteries, and hence of their available energy, play a key role in effecting efficient control and energy management of the installation. The present study had a twofold aim. One objective was to adjust and validate a method based on coulomb counting to estimate the state-of-charge (SOC) of a gelled lead-acid battery which is the DC bus of a hybrid wind-solar system with hydrogen storage. Other works evaluate SOC models based on several parameters, however, the present proposal based on experimental measurements involves only a few parameters. The second objective was to modify the installation's control algorithm to use the battery's calculated SOC as control parameter instead of its voltage. The results of a test-bed system, showing how the system evolved under real operating conditions, constitute a proof-of-concept of the validity of the method.  相似文献

Botulism has been known for about three centuries, and since its discovery, botulinum toxin has been considered one of the most powerful toxins. However, throughout the 20th century, several medical applications have been discovered, among which the treatment of spasticity stands out. Botulinum toxin is the only pharmacological treatment recommended for spasticity of strokes and cerebral palsy. Although its use as an adjuvant treatment against spasticity in spinal cord injuries is not even approved, botulinum toxin is being used against such injuries. This article describes the advances that have been made throughout history leading to the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin and, in particular, its application to the treatment of spasticity in spinal cord injury.  相似文献

The microstructure of as-cast Pu-1 wt pct Ga alloys is characterized by extensive Ga microsegregation often referred to as “coring”. This process results in grains that consist of Ga-rich cores (∼1.6 wt pct) with Ga-poor (∼0.1 wt pct) edges. Cored grains can be homogenized at moderately high (i.e., >400 °C) temperatures, though the time required to achieve chemical homogeneity is not well constrained. In this article, we apply several analytical diffusion modeling techniques to characterize the kinetics of alloy homogenization as a function of time and temperature. We also review the experimental investigations that have used analytical tools such as X-ray diffraction, density, dilatometry, and electron microprobe analysis to characterize Pu-Ga alloy homogenization. Data from these studies are used as a basis of comparison with modeling results. In particular, Ga coring-profile modeling appears to be a powerful tool for predicting alloy homogenization. FRANK E.
