A new generation of beam deflection technique is the basis for the development of electron beam (EB) technologies, which are not realisable with conventional methods. A high frequency 3D‐beam deflection makes possible multi‐field, multi‐pool and multi‐process technologies for EB welding und EB surface treatment, which result in a clear higher productivity and new combinations of properties.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the approximate feedback linearisation using multilayer feedforward neural networks. We propose to approximate a basis of the one-dimensional codistribution of an affine nonlinear system with the derivative of a multilayer neural network [6] and form a change of coordinates with n multilayer neural networks [5]. In this paper we will prove that the transformation can define a local diffeomorphism, with which a local stabilising feedback law can be designed for a kind of non-linearisable nonlinear systems.  相似文献

Starting from a set of matrices describing a general GmC filter topology, a procedure is developed for generating structures of lowpass filters. As the matrices and the filter topologies have a one‐to‐one correspondence, an algebraic method is used to identify filter topologies with desired properties, here, transfer functions with finite ‐axis transmission zeros, specifically elliptic filters. Sensitivity expressions for these structures are derived and a performance comparison based on a set of chosen criteria is made. For a specified elliptic transfer function, filters with only grounded capacitors and those containing also floating capacitors emerge as alternative realizations, as are filters with a single input and those with distributed inputs. For third‐order functions, a detailed comparison is performed of leapfrog (LF) and inverse follow‐the‐leader‐feedback (IFLF), the most popular special cases, and of topologies that have also floating capacitors (LFf, IFLFf), as well as of a novel configuration that uses also distributed inputs (DIf) and leads to a reduced element count. Design guidelines and restrictions are given, which follow from the derived results with focus on the circuits' sensitivity performance and other properties important for IC implementation. In general, both consciously and unconsciously perceived stimuli facilitate responses to following similar stimuli. However, masked arrows delay responses to following arrows. This inverse priming has been ascribed to inhibition of premature motor activation, more recently even to special processing of nonconsciously perceived material. Here, inverse priming depended on particular masks, was insensitive to contextual requirements for increased inhibition, and was constant across response speeds. Putative signs of motor inhibition in the electroencephalogram may as well reflect activation of the opposite response. Consequently, rather than profiting from inhibition of primed responses, the alternative response is directly primed by perceptual interactions of primes and masks. The authors examined how situation models are updated during text comprehension. If comprehenders keep track of the evolving situation, they should update their models such that the most current information, the here and now, is more available than outdated information. Contrary to this updating hypothesis, E. J. O'Brien, M. L. Rizzella, J. E. Albrecht, and J. G. Halleran (1998) obtained results suggesting that outdated or incorrect information may still influence the comprehension process. The authors of the current study demonstrate that the nature of E. J. O'Brien et al.'s materials were the likely cause of this pattern of results. Hence, the current authors constructed materials that circumvent identified confounds and in a reading-time experiment obtained evidence supporting the here-and-now hypothesis. We report in detail on the luminescence imaging setup developed within the last years in our laboratory. In this setup, the luminescence emission of silicon solar cells or silicon wafers is analyzed quantitatively. Charge carriers are excited electrically (electroluminescence) using a power supply for carrier injection or optically (photoluminescence) using a laser as illumination source. The luminescence emission arising from the radiative recombination of the stimulated charge carriers is measured spatially resolved using a camera. We give details of the various components including cameras, optical filters for electro- and photo-luminescence, the semiconductor laser and the four-quadrant power supply. We compare a silicon charged-coupled device (CCD) camera with a back-illuminated silicon CCD camera comprising an electron multiplier gain and a complementary metal oxide semiconductor indium gallium arsenide camera. For the detection of the luminescence emission of silicon we analyze the dominant noise sources along with the signal-to-noise ratio of all three cameras at different operation conditions.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to integrate data on the effect of water activity (aw; 0.995–0.93) and temperature (20–35°C) on activation of the biosynthetic FUM genes, growth and the mycotoxins fumonisin (FB1, FB2) by Fusarium verticillioides in vitro. The relative expression of nine biosynthetic cluster genes (FUM1, FUM7, FUM10, FUM11, FUM12, FUM13, FUM14, FUM16 and FUM19) in relation to the environmental factors was determined using a microarray analysis. The expression was related to growth and phenotypic FB1 and FB2 production. These data were used to develop a mixed-growth-associated product formation model and link this to a linear combination of the expression data for the nine genes. The model was then validated by examining datasets outside the model fitting conditions used (35°C). The relationship between the key gene (FUM1) and other genes in the cluster (FUM11, FUM13, FUM9, FUM14) were examined in relation to aw, temperature, FB1 and FB2 production by developing ternary diagrams of relative expression. This model is important in developing an integrated systems approach to develop prevention strategies to control fumonisin biosynthesis in staple food commodities and could also be used to predict the potential impact that climate change factors may have on toxin production.  相似文献

Unlike in the case of sound where there is a compressed but straightforward relationship between frequency of sound waves and the perceived pitch, in the case of color the relationship is highly nonlinear, as first pointed out by Ostwald in 1916. In this article, the relationship between the perceptual Munsell hue scale and the related dominant wavelengths of the color chips involved is investigated. A hypothesis is proposed according to which the immediate cause of the nonlinearity can be found in the relative activation of the kinds of chromatically opponent functions shown to exist in neurons of the lateral geniculate nuclei. However, at this time, the relationship is only correlational, given the lack of deeper understanding of the relationship between the physiological operation of the color vision system and conscious experiences of color. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
