The present study analyses an aircraft composite fuselage structure manufactured by the Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI) process and subjected to a compressive load. LRI is based on the moulding of high performance composite parts by infusing liquid resin on dry fibres instead of prepreg fabrics or Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM). Actual industrial projects face composite integrated structure issues as a number of structures (stiffeners, …) are more and more integrated onto the skins of aircraft fuselage.A post-buckling test of a composite fuselage representative panel is set up, from numerical results available in previous works. Two stereo Digital Image Correlation (DIC) systems are positioned on each side of the panel, that are aimed at correlating numerical and experimental out-of-plane displacements (corresponding to the skin local buckling displacements of the panel). First, the experimental approach and the test facility are presented. A post-mortem failure analysis is then performed with the help of Non-Destructive Techniques (NDT). X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) measurements and ultrasonic testing (US) techniques are able to explain the failure mechanisms that occured during this post-buckling test. Numerical results are validated by the experimental results.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with the problem of tactical capacitated production planning with the demand under uncertainty modelled by closed intervals. We propose a single-item with backordering model under small uncertainty in the cumulative demand for the Master Production Scheduling (MPS) problem with different rules, namely the Lot For Lot rule and the Periodic Order Quantity rule. Then we study a general multilevel, multi-item, multi-resource model with backordering and the external demand on components for the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) problem under uncertainty in the cumulative demand. In order to choose robust production plans for the above problems that hedge against uncertainty, we adopt the well-known minmax criterion. We propose polynomial methods for evaluating the impact of uncertainty on a given production plan in terms of its cost and for computing optimal robust production plans for both problems (MPS/MRP) under the assumed interval uncertainty representation. We show in this way that the robust problems (MPS/MRP) under this uncertainty representation are not much computationally harder than their deterministic counterparts.  相似文献

Materials that can couple electrical and mechanical properties constitute a key element of smart actuators, energy harvesters, or many sensing devices. Within this class, functional oxides display specific mesoscale responses which often result in great sensitivity to small external stimuli. Here, a novel combination of molecular beam epitaxy and a water‐based chemical‐solution method is used for the design of mechanically controlled multilevel device integrated on silicon. In particular, the possibility of adding extra functionalities to a ferroelectric oxide heterostructure by n‐doping and nanostructuring a BaTiO3 thin film on Si(001) is explored. It is found that the ferroelectric polarization can be reversed, and resistive switching can be measured, upon a mechanical load in epitaxial BaTiO3?δ /La0.7Sr0.3MnO3/SrTiO3/Si columnar nanostructures. A flexoelectric effect is found, stemming from substantial strain gradients that can be created with moderate loads. Simultaneously, mechanical effects on the local conductivity can be used to modulate a nonvolatile resistive state of the BaTiO3?δ heterostructure. As a result, three different configurations of the system become accessible on top of the usual voltage reversal of polarization and resistive states.  相似文献

The ground state of neutral and negatively charged excitons confined to a single self-assembled InGaAs quantum dot is probed in a direct absorption experiment by high resolution laser spectroscopy. We show how the anisotropic electron-hole exchange interaction depends on the exciton charge and demonstrate how the interaction can be switched on and off with a small dc voltage. Furthermore, we report polarization sensitive analysis of the excitonic interband transition in a single quantum dot as a function of charge with and without magnetic field.  相似文献

We report a CE-LIF method for the separation and detection of five synthetic amyloid-β peptides corresponding to an important family of CSF-biomarkers in the context of Alzheimer disease (AD). The presumed most relevant peptides (Aβ1-42, Aβ1-40, and Aβ1-38) that may support the differentiation between AD and healthy patients or other dementias were successfully detected in CSF by incorporating an immunoconcentration step prior to CE analysis of derivatized peptides. We labeled the Aβ peptides with a fluoroprobe dye before CE-LIF analysis. This reagent reacts with the amino groups of lysine residues and produced mostly ditagged Aβ peptides under the proposed experimental conditions. The labeling reaction displayed similar efficiency with each one of the five different synthetic Aβ peptides that were tested. The limit of detection of the CE-LIF method approached 280 attomoles of injected synthetic labeled Aβ peptides. We obtained excellent correlation between peak areas and peptide concentrations from 35 nM to 750 nM. For the detection of Aβ peptides in human CSF samples, we enriched the peptides by immunoprecipitation prior to the CE-LIF analysis. The comparison of the CE-LIF profiles obtained from CSF samples from 3 AD patients and 4 non-demented control subjects indicated noticeable differences, suggesting that this method, which relies on a multibiomarker approach, may have potential as a clinical diagnostic test for AD.  相似文献

We investigate the effect of uniaxial stress on InGaAs quantum dots in a charge tunable device. Using Coulomb blockade and photoluminescence, we observe that significant tuning of single particle energies (≈-0.22 meV/MPa) leads to variable tuning of exciton energies (+18 to -0.9 μeV/MPa) under tensile stress. Modest tuning of the permanent dipole, Coulomb interaction and fine-structure splitting energies is also measured. We exploit the variable exciton response to tune multiple quantum dots on the same chip into resonance.  相似文献

Dry particle coating is used to modify surface properties and monitor the end use properties of powders. These processes are mainly running in batch mode. In certain cases, continuous processes may present interest for specific applications (limitation of investments, stability, versatility…). In this study, the feasibility of dry coating particles by an innovative way derived from the well-known extrusion process was investigated. Adhesion between host and guest particles is induced by mechanical shear stress during processing. A preliminary parametric study on microcrystalline cellulose particles as host particles was carried out in order to determine the operating condition range. Then, coating was successfully performed using talc and a microcrystalline cellulose system, which demonstrates the feasibility of this novel process and led to different morphologies according to the operating conditions.  相似文献

We propose a new experimental method using a Hassler cell and air injection to measure the permeability of fiber preform while avoiding a race tracking effect. This method was proven to be particularly efficient to measure very low through-thickness permeability of preform fabricated by automated dry fiber placement. To validate the reliability of the permeability measurement, the experiments of viscous liquid infusion into the preform with or without a distribution medium were performed. The experimental data of flow front advancement was compared with the numerical simulation result using the permeability values obtained by the Hassler cell permeability measurement set-up as well as by the liquid infusion experiments. To address the computational cost issue, the model for the equivalent permeability of distribution medium was employed in the numerical simulation of liquid flow. The new concept using air injection and Hassler cell for the fiber preform permeability measurement was shown to be reliable and efficient.  相似文献

Polymeric capsules with a thick shell made of biodegradable and biocompatible polymer and a liquid core of perfluorooctyl bromide (PFOB) were evaluated for stability as well as for ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast enhancement. The method of preparation allows the mean capsule diameter to be regulated between 70 nm and 25 µm and the capsule thickness‐to‐radius ratio from 0.25 to 0.54. Capsule diameter remains stable at 37 °C in phosphate buffer for at least 4 and 6 h for nanocapsules and microcapsules, respectively. The in vitro ultrasound signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) was measured from 40 to 60 MHz for 6 µm and 150 nm capsules: the SNR increases with capsule concentration up to 20–25 mg mL−1, and then reaches a plateau that depends on capsule diameter (13.5 ± 1.5 dB for 6 µm and 6 ± 2 dB for the 150 nm capsules). The ultrasound SNR is stable for up to 20 min for microcapsules and for several hours for nanocapsules. For nanocapsules, the thinner the shell, the larger the SNR and the more compressible the capsules. Nanocapsule suspensions imaged in vitro with a commercial ultrasound imaging system (normal and tissue harmonic imaging modes, 7–14 MHz probe) were detected down to concentrations of 12.5 mg mL−1. Injections of nanocapsules (200 µg ml−1) in mice in vivo reveal that the initial bolus passage presents significant ultrasound enhancement of the blood pool during hepatic imaging (7–14 MHz probe, tissue harmonic imaging mode). 19F‐MRI images were obtained in vitro at 9.4T using spin‐echo and gradient echo sequences and allow detecting nanocapsules in suspension (50 mg mL−1). In conclusion, these results show initial feasibility for development of these capsules toward a dual‐modality contrast agent.  相似文献

Two key strategies for enhancing the efficiency of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells are the bandgap gradient across the absorber and the incorporation of alkali atoms. The combined incorporation of Na and Rb into the absorber has brought large efficiency gains compared to Na-containing or alkali-free layers. Here, transient absorption spectroscopy is employed to study the effect of NaF or combined NaF+RbF postdeposition treatments (PDT) on minority carrier dynamics in different excitation volumes of typical composition-graded Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells. Electron lifetimes are found to be highly dependent on the film composition and morphology, varying from tens of nanoseconds in the energy notch to only ≈100 ps in the Ga-rich region near the Mo-back contact. NaF PDT improves recombination lifetimes by a factor of 2–2.5 in all regions of the absorber, whereas the effectiveness of the RbF PDT is found to decrease for higher Ga-concentrations. Electron mobility measured in the absorber region with large grains is promoted by both alkali PDTs. The data suggest that NaF PDT passivates shallow defect states (Urbach tail) throughout the Cu(In,Ga)Se2 film (including the interior of large grains), whereas the additional RbF PDT is effective at grain boundary surfaces (predominantly in regions with medium to low Ga-concentrations).  相似文献
