Two tungsten-based Keggin-type heteropolyacids (PW12: ([PW12O40]3−) and SiW12: ([SiW12O40]4−)) were hybridized with brookite-type TiO2. Then photocatalytic decomposition activity, photoinduced hydrophilicity, and sustainability of the hydrophilicity in the dark were evaluated using gaseous 2-propanol (IPA) decomposition and sessile drop method. The obtained films were transparent in the visible wavelength range. Both hybrid films exhibited higher photocatalytic decomposition activity and had higher photoinduced hydrophilicizing rates than pure brookite films under UV illumination. The PW12/TiO2 film exhibited better photocatalytic performance than the SiW12/TiO2 film did. Atmosphere dependence, XPS analysis, and electrochemical experiments indicated the cause of these two films' different levels of sustainability of hydrophilicity to be differences in their electron storage capability. Results show that the electron scavenger capability and reoxidation efficiency of the heteropolyacid are key factors affecting the overall performance of wettability conversion of this hybrid film system before and after UV illumination.  相似文献

The influence of feeding cholesterol to rats during pregnancy and postpartum (from the 11th day of gestation to the third day after delivery) on the serum and hepatic cholesterol levels and on the bile acid composition in the pool and in the liver in relationship to the dams and their pups was examined. The hepatic content of cholesterol in both dam and offspring increased during cholesterol feeding without any changes in serum cholesterol level. In the dams, mainly the esterified cholesterol was increased; in the pups, mainly the free cholesterol was increased. Cholesterol feeding led to a pronounced increase in the pool of β-muricholic acid and a relative decrease in the lithocholic acid concentration in pregnant rats. In fetal rats, the chenodeoxycholic acid pool was increased by cholesterol intake. The lithocholic acid pool was larger in the postpartum rats fed cholesterol than in the controls, while the concentration of α- and β-muricholic acids was decreased. The neonates of cholesterol-fed dams had a larger pool of chenodeoxycholic acid but a smaller pool of β-muricholic acid. These results suggest that the metabolism of cholesterol and of bile acids in dams and their offspring respond differently to cholesterol intake.  相似文献

Self-ordering of anodic porous alumina formed in organic acid electrolytes   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
New self-ordering porous alumina films were fabricated in organic acid electrolytes. Highly ordered cell arrangements of porous alumina films were realized in malonic acid at 120 V and tartaric acid at 195 V having 300 nm and 500 nm pore intervals, respectively. Self-organization was achieved at the maximum voltage required to induce high-current-density anodization while preventing burning, i.e., an extremely high-current flow concentrated at local points. The cells of the film grown at a high field must be pressed against each other, so that the self-ordering proceeds with the porous layer growth. When the self-ordering of cell arrangement proceeds, the cells became smaller. To improve the regularity of the cell configuration, a low electrolyte temperature and a relatively high electrolyte concentration were effective for maintaining a high-current-density to prevent burning. Surface flatness was an essential factor for self-ordering, however, the surface oxide film produced by electropolishing an aluminum substrate prevented quick pore growth in the organic acids having a low dissociation constant. It is confirmed that electropolishing followed by alkaline treatment was most appropriate as the pre-treatment in preparing flat surfaces.  相似文献

Two different denitrifying reactors were monitored in order to evaluate the effects of carbon source on denitrification efficiency and microbial community structure under various saline conditions. Nitrogen removal performances were determined when salinity concentrations increase gradually in acetate- or methanol-fed denitrifying reactor. As a result, acetate-fed process attained high nitrate removal at 0-10% NaCl, while methanol was proven beneficial electron donors at 0-3% NaCl. A parallel analysis of T-RFLP and cloning in the acetate-fed sludge showed that a specialized microbial population (i.e. the genera Halomonas and Marinobacter) adapted to a high saline environment. Meanwhile, there were no major changes of bacterial populations in the methanol-fed reactor at 4% NaCl, although the relative abundances of the genera Azoarcus and Methylophaga increased when salinity concentration was at 1-3% NaCl, indicating that methanol-utilizing populations in activated sludge was unable to adapt to a high saline environments (>4% NaCl).  相似文献

A cyanidin–catechin pigment isolated from adzuki bean (vignacyanidin) interacted with starch. The pigment had absorption maxima at 530 and 540 nm at pH 2.0 and 6.8, respectively, and starch (10 and 100 mg ml−1) increased the absorbance, shifting the absorption maxima to longer wavelengths. Nitrite oxidised vignacyanidin at pH 2.0, and the oxidation resulted in the production of nitric oxide (NO). Rates of the oxidation and the NO production were enhanced by starch. Vignacyanidin inhibited α-amylase-catalysed digestion of starch at pH 6.8, and amylose digestion was more effectively inhibited than amylopectin digestion. The above results suggest (i) that binding of the pigment to starch increased the accessibility of nitrous acid to the pigment, and (ii) that the binding reduced the digestibility of starch by α-amylase. Possible functions of the pigment in the stomach and the intestine are postulated, taking the above results into account.  相似文献

Solvent extraction of platinum(IV) and palladium(II) with tri-n-octylamine(TOA) in o-xylene from 4.0M (Na,H)(Cl, HSO4) has been investigated at 298K in order to compare with similar extraction by trioctylphosphine oxide(TOPO). The dependence of the distribution ratio of platinum(IV) and pal 1adium(II) on TOA, hydrogen ion and chloride ion concentrations suggests the dominant extracted species of these metals would be 2:1 for proto-nated amine : chlorocomplex anion and the extraction should be essentially anion exchange reaction. The extraction constants (Kex = D[H+(T0A)C1 ] 2[C1 ]2), were evaluated as 106-3 and 105.8 for platinum(IV) and pal ladium(II), respectively. The anion exchange with protonated TOPO salt represented by H(T0P0)2 +C1  is less than that with protonated TOA salt by a factor of one order.  相似文献

In recent years, brown adipose tissue (BAT), which has a high heat-producing capacity, has been confirmed to exist even in adults, and it has become a focal point for the prevention and the improvement of obesity and lifestyle-related diseases. However, the influences of obesity and physical activity (PA) on the fluid factors secreted from BAT (brown adipokines) are not well understood. In this study, therefore, we focused on brown adipokines and investigated the effects of obesity and PA. The abnormal expressions of gene fluid factors such as galectin-3 (Lgals3) and Lgals3 binding protein (Lgals3bp), whose proteins are secreted from HB2 brown adipocytes, were observed in the interscapular BAT of obese mice fed a high-fat diet for 4 months. PA attenuated the abnormalities in the expressions of these genes. Furthermore, although the gene expressions of factors related to brown adipocyte differentiation such as peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1-α were also down-regulated in the BAT of the obese mice, PA suppressed the down-regulation of these factors. On the other hand, lipogenesis was increased more in HB2 cells overexpressing Lgals3 compared with that in control cells, and the overexpression of Lgals3bp decreased the mitochondrial mass. These results indicate that PA attenuates the obesity-induced dysregulated expression of brown adipokines and suggests that Lgals3 and Lgals3bp are involved in brown adipocyte differentiation.  相似文献

Sesame seeds were roasted at different temperatures (180–220 °C) using a domestic electric oven. Molecular species and fatty acid distributions of triacylglycerols (TAGs) isolated from total lipids in the sesame seeds were analysed by a combination of argentation thin‐layer chromatography (TLC) and gas–liquid chromatography. A modified argentation TLC procedure, developed to optimise the separation of the complex mixture of total TAGs, provided 11 different groups of TAGs, based on both the degree of unsaturation and the total length of fatty acid groups. Fatty acid methyl ester analysis was performed to determine the composition of each zone. Eleven molecular species of TAGs were still detected in the sesame seeds following roasting treatment. Dilinoleolein (33.7–35.8%), palmitoleolinolein (20.3–22.8%), dioleolinolein (15.0–15.4%) and trilinolein (8.8–10.7%) were the main components during roasting. However, roasting for 10 min at 220 °C caused a significant decrease (P < 0.05) not only in molecular species containing more than four double bonds, but also in the amount of diene and triene species present in TAGs (with a few exceptions). These results suggest that no significant changes in molecular species or fatty acid distribution of TAGs would occur within 25 min of roasting at 180 °C, ensuring that a good‐quality product would be attained. © 2000 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

To validate a modified version of AOAC official method of analysis 995.10 as an official standard in Japan for determination of patulin in apple juice, an inter-laboratory study was performed in 11 laboratories using a non-contaminated sample, 2 naturally contaminated samples and 2 spiked samples of apple juice. For naturally contaminated apple juices, the relative standard deviations for repeatability and reproducibility were 3.2, 7.1% and 10.0, 21.7%, respectively. HORRAT values were 0.4, 0.9. The average recovery of patulin from spiked sample was 83.7%. The limit of quantification was calculated as 10 microg/kg. From these results, the method was thought to be suitable as an official standard for determination of patulin in apple juice in Japan.  相似文献

In the customary mode of operation of a SQUID, the electromagnetic field in the SQUID is an oscillatory function of time. In this situation, electromagnetic radiation is emitted and couples to the sample. This is a back action that can alter the state that we intend to measure. A circuit that could perform as a stationary SQUID consists of a loop of superconducting material that encloses the magnetic flux, connected to a superconducting and to a normal electrode. This circuit does not contain Josephson junctions, or any other miniature feature. We study the evolution of the order parameter and of the electrochemical potential in this circuit; they converge to a stationary regime, and the voltage between the electrodes depends on the enclosed flux. We obtain expressions for the power dissipation and for the heat transported by the electric current; the validity of these expressions does not rely on a particular evolution model for the order parameter. We evaluate the influence of fluctuations. For a SQUID perimeter of the order of 1\(\mu \)m and temperature \(0.9T_c\), we obtain a flux resolution of the order of \(10^{-5}\Phi _0/\)Hz\(^{1/2}\); the resolution is expected to improve as the temperature is lowered.  相似文献
