Novel zeolite-based material showing photocatalytic properties in the visible light have been synthesized by incorporating TiO2, heteropolyacid (HPA) and transition metal, namely cobalt. This material shows high efficiency for water splitting under visible light irradiation. Hydrogen generation to the tune of 2171 μmol/h/g of TiO2 has been achieved for the composite photocatalyst synthesized as compared to H2 evolution rate to the tune of 131.6 μmol/h/g of TiO2 for Degussa P25. This suggests that the TiO2 which gets effectively dispersed and stabilized on the surface of zeolite works synergistically with cobalt and heteropolyacid to make the material active in visible light for evolution of hydrogen from water. TiO2 is the photocatalyst, HPA functions as the dye sensitiser as well as redox system; zeolite functions as support matrix and as electron acceptor in synergy with cobalt. The probable mechanism for improved hydrogen evolution rate using such composite photocatalyst has been discussed.  相似文献

The oxidative stability of fish oil enriched drinking yoghurt as well as the antioxidative effect of citric acid ester, vitamin K and disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) were investigated by measuring peroxide value and volatile secondary oxidation products and by sensory analysis. No oxidation was observed in yoghurt stored at 2 °C for up to 19 days, with or without addition of citric acid ester. Fish oil enriched yoghurt was also very stable even when compared to yoghurt with added rapeseed oil or a mixture of rapeseed oil and fish oil stored for up to 29 days. The addition of 50 μm iron to yoghurt did not promote oxidation. The results obtained may indicate an antioxidative effect of EDTA and pro-oxidative effect of vitamin K. All yoghurts had similar viscosity and droplet size. In summary, fish oil enriched drinking yoghurt is very stable towards oxidation.  相似文献

Aluminum alloy is the main structural material of aircraft,launch vehicle,spaceship,and space station and is pro-cessed by milling.However,tool wear and vibration are the bottlenecks in the milling process of aviation aluminum alloy.The machining accuracy and surface quality of aluminum alloy milling depend on the cutting parameters,material mechanical properties,machine tools,and other parameters.In particular,milling force is the crucial factor to determine material removal and workpiece surface integrity.However,establishing the prediction model of milling force is important and difficult because milling force is the result of multiparameter coupling of process system.The research progress of cutting force model is reviewed from three modeling methods:empirical model,finite element simulation,and instantaneous milling force model.The problems of cutting force modeling are also determined.In view of these problems,the future work direction is proposed in the following four aspects:(1)high-speed milling is adopted for the thin-walled structure of large aviation with large cutting depth,which easily produces high residual stress.The residual stress should be analyzed under this particular condition.(2)Multiple factors(e.g.,eccentric swing milling parameters,lubrication conditions,tools,tool and workpiece deformation,and size effect)should be consid-ered comprehensively when modeling instantaneous milling forces,especially for micro milling and complex surface machining.(3)The database of milling force model,including the corresponding workpiece materials,working condi-tion,cutting tools(geometric figures and coatings),and other parameters,should be established.(4)The effect of chatter on the prediction accuracy of milling force cannot be ignored in thin-walled workpiece milling.(5)The cutting force of aviation aluminum alloy milling under the condition of minimum quantity lubrication(mql)and nanofluid mql should be predicted.  相似文献

The survival of Listeria monocytogenes V37 in vanilla-flavored yogurt (low-fat and nonfat) and soy milk (low-fat and Plus) stored at 8 degrees C for 31 days was investigated. Commercial samples of yogurt and soy milk were used. These samples were inoculated with either 10(4) or 10(7) CFU of L. monocytogenes per ml. Sampling was carried out every 3 to 4 days initially and was then carried out weekly, for a total storage time of 31 days. Each time a sample was collected, the pH of the sample was measured. After 31 days, low-fat plain, low-fat vanilla, and nonfat plain yogurt samples inoculated with 10(4) CFU/ml showed 2.5-log reductions in viable cell populations, and nonfat vanilla yogurt showed a 3.5-log reduction. For yogurt inoculated with 10(7) CFU/ml, reductions of 2.5 log CFU/ml were observed for plain low-fat and nonfat yogurts, and reductions of 5 log CFU/ml were observed for vanilla-flavored low-fat and nonfat yogurts. In vanilla-flavored and plain low-fat and Plus soy milk samples, cell counts increased from 10(4) and 10(7) CFU/ml to 10(9) CFU/ml at 7 and 3 days of storage, respectively, at 8 degrees C. Coagulation in soy milk samples was observed when the cell population reached 10(9) CFU/ml. In soy milk, the L. monocytogenes population did not change for up to 31 days. Vanillin had an inhibitory effect on L. monocytogenes in yogurt but not in soy milk.  相似文献

This paper investigates burr generation while drilling of mild steel grade 350. The influences of feed, speed and point angle on burr height, thrust force, torque and chip ratio are investigated to correlate with burr height. It was found that, the burr height reduces gradually with the rise of speed at minimum feed and point angle. At maximum feed and point angle, initially the height rises with speed and then reduces as speed rises further. The maximum burr is 720 μm at 584 rpm. At maximum point angle and speed, the height rises initially and then reduces as the feed rises where the trend is opposite at minimum feed and speed. The maximum burr is 1223.15 μm at 0.25 mm/rev feed. The variation of burr height with point angle is similar to that with the variation of feed. The maximum burr is 1230 μm at 125°point angle. The trends of thrust forces, torques and chip ration with the variation of different parameters are not similar to that of burr height in most of the cases. The complex interaction between strain hardening and thermal softening plays the main role in burr formation for the considered material.  相似文献

In this work an efficient tandem process transforming N‐substituted amidines into secondary amides has been described. The process involves N‐acylurea formation by reaction of the substrate with bis(acyloxy)(phenyl)‐λ3‐iodane followed by isocyanate elimination. The periodinane reagents are obtained from the commercially available phenyliodine(III) diacetate [PhI(OAc)2, (PIDA)] by ligand exchange with carboxylic acids. The N‐substituted amidine substrates are easily synthesized from readily available nitriles. The method is applicable for secondary amide synthesis, based on both aliphatic and (hetero)aromatic amines, including challenging amides consisting of sterically hindered acids and amines. Moreover, the protocol allows one to combine steric bulk with electron deficiency in the target amides (aniline based). Such compounds are difficult to synthesize efficiently based on classical condensation reactions involving carboxylic acids and amines. Overall, the synthetic protocol transforms a nitrile into a secondary amide in both aliphatic and (hetero)aromatic systems.

Binary combination of three safe amine based synthesized zinc dithiocarbamates (ZDC), namely zinc (N‐benzyl piperazino) dithiocarbamate (ZBPDC), zinc (N‐ethyl piperazino) dithiocarbamate (ZEPDC), and zinc (N‐phenyl piperazino) dithiocarbamate (ZPPDC) with mercapto benzothiazole disulfide (MBTS) as an effective accelerator system for the vulcanization of carbon black (N330, N550, and N774) filled natural rubber (NR) composites are studied. A comparison between the safe amine based zinc dithiocarbamates with the unsafe zinc dimethyl dithiocarbamate (ZDMC) in the light of mechanical and aging resistance behavior, introduces the non carcinogenic rubber additives in the filled vulcanization of rubber. Both accelerator and filler have the major importance for improving the mechanical as well as aging resistance behavior of the resultant vulcanizate. Variation in the filler and also filler to oil ratio are done to optimize the mechanical properties. SEM studies of different types of filler with different amounts show that N330 at 30 phr loading composites forms more homogeneity and less aggregated structures. Natural rubber systems with N330 carbon black show the best results with respect to tensile strength, but after the aging N774 carbon black filled system indicates better retention in the tensile strength. ZPPDC‐MBTS accelerated vulcanizate shows the better age resistance behavior than ZDMC‐MBTS accelerated vulcanizate. From both the points of age resistance and mechanical properties, ZBPDC‐MBTS accelerator system is the suitable substitute for ZDMC‐MBTS accelerated system in the filled vulcanization of natural rubber composites. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cross contamination of foodborne pathogens from raw meats to ready-to-eat foods has caused a number of foodborne outbreaks. The cross contamination and transfer rates of Salmonella enterica from chicken to lettuce under various food-handling scenarios were determined. The following scenarios were tested: in scenario 1, cutting board and knife used to cut chicken (106 CFU/g) were also used for cutting lettuce, without washing; in scenario 2, cutting board and knife were washed with water separately after cutting chicken, and subsequently used for cutting lettuce; and in scenario 3, cutting board and knife were thoroughly washed with soap and hot water after cutting chicken, and before cutting lettuce. In each scenario, cutting board, knife, chicken and lettuce were sampled for population of S. enterica. For scenario 1, both before and after cutting lettuce, the cutting board and knife each had about 2 logs CFU/cm2 of S. enterica, respectively. The cut lettuce had about 3 logs CFU/g of S. enterica. In scenario 2, fewer organisms (0.5–2.4 logs CFU/g or cm2) were transferred. The transfer rates in both scenarios ranged from 0.02 to 75%. However, in scenario 3, <1 log CFU/g or cm2 organisms were detected on lettuce, cutting board or knife, after washing and cutting lettuce. This shows that the FDA recommended practice for cleaning cutting boards is effective in removing S. enterica and preventing cross contamination.  相似文献
