While the internet has a lot of positive impact on society, there are negative components. Accessible to everyone through online platforms, pornography is, inducing psychological and health related issues among people of all ages. While a difficult task, detecting pornography can be the important step in determining the porn and adult content in a video. In this paper, an architecture is proposed which yielded high scores for both training and testing. This dataset was produced from 190 videos, yielding more than 19 h of videos. The main sources for the content were from YouTube, movies, torrent, and websites that hosts both pornographic and non-pornographic contents. The videos were from different ethnicities and skin color which ensures the models can detect any kind of video. A VGG16, Inception V3 and Resnet 50 models were initially trained to detect these pornographic images but failed to achieve a high testing accuracy with accuracies of 0.49, 0.49 and 0.78 respectively. Finally, utilizing transfer learning, a convolutional neural network was designed and yielded an accuracy of 0.98. 相似文献

Image design involves determining the object distribution which produces a prescribed image at the output of a given imaging system. We solve the problem of generating two parallel lines at the output of an imaging system that is modeled by a linear band-limited system foliowed by a point nonlinearity of the hardlimiting type. It is shown that a solution always exists whatever the system's bandwidth. In principle, infinite two-line resolution is achievable. A constrained least-squares solution based on a second difference smoothing measure is obtained for images which are distorted by a bilinear (quadratic and with nonzero memory) system in the presence of additive signal-independent noise. Results are applied to a partially coherent diffraction-limited imaging system. It is found that the optimum weight given to the smoothness factor is larger for a coherent (nonlinear) system than for an incoherent (linear) system. Plants have various self-defense mechanisms against biotic attacks, involving both physical and chemical barriers. Physical barriers include spines, trichomes, and cuticle layers, whereas chemical barriers include secondary metabolites (SMs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Complex interactions between plants and herbivores occur. Plant responses to insect herbivory begin with the perception of physical stimuli, chemical compounds (orally secreted by insects and herbivore-induced VOCs) during feeding. Plant cell membranes then generate ion fluxes that create differences in plasma membrane potential (Vm), which provokes the initiation of signal transduction, the activation of various hormones (e.g., jasmonic acid, salicylic acid, and ethylene), and the release of VOCs and SMs. This review of recent studies of plant–herbivore–infection interactions focuses on early and late plant responses, including physical barriers, signal transduction, SM production as well as epigenetic regulation, and phytohormone responses. 相似文献

In this paper, a class of the direct methods for discretization of fractional order transfer functions is studied in the sense of stability preservation. The stability boundary curve is exactly determined for these discretization methods. Having this boundary helps us to recognize whether the original system and its discretized model are the same in the sense of stability. The recurrence theory for the breakdown probability in avalanche photodiodes (APDs) is generalized to heterostructure APDs that may have multiple multiplication layers. The generalization addresses layer-boundary effects such as the initial energy of injected carriers as well as the layer-dependent profile of the dead space in the multiplication region. Reducing the width of the multiplication layer serves to both downshift and sharpen the breakdown probability curve as a function of the applied reverse-bias voltage. In structures where the injected carriers have an initial energy that is comparable to the ionization threshold energy, the transition from linear mode to Geiger-mode is more abrupt than in structures in which such initial energy is negligible. The theory is applied to two recently fabricated Al/sub 0.6/Ga/sub 0.4/As-GaAs heterostructure APDs and to other homostructure thin GaAs APDs and the predictions of the breakdown-voltage thresholds are verified. 相似文献

The effect of dead space on the statistics of the gain in a double-carrier-multiplication avalanche photodiode (APD) is determined using a recurrence method. The dead space is the minimum distance that a newly generated carrier must travel in order to acquire sufficient energy to become capable of causing an impact ionization. Recurrence equations are derived for the first moment, the second moment, and the probability distribution function of two random variables that are related, in a deterministic way, to the random gain of the APD. These equations are solved numerically to produce the mean gain and the excess noise factor. The presence of dead space reduces both the mean gain and the excess noise factor of the device. More than 100 underground water wells drilled in Jordan are known to have brackish water with total desolved solids (TDS) over 1500 ppm but not greater than 4000 ppm. The world standard for potable water limits the TDS count to 500 ppm in addition to being free from live microorganisms or dangerous mineral and organic substances. A reverse osmosis desalination scheme powered by a stand-alone wind energy converter (WEC) is proposed to produce fresh water from wells located in potentially high-wind sites. A conceptual design of such system is developed and the design parameters are identified, in addition, a preliminary economic analysis is made. It is found that brackish water pumping and desalinating using WECs costs 0.67 to 1.16 JD/m3 (JD = Jordanian Dinar, 1US$ = 0.68 JD), which is less than using conventional diesel engines especially in remote areas. In this paper, the technique of dual-edge phase-alignment and its effects on ring oscillators are presented. This technique provides resetting of the built-up jitter at both rising and falling edges of a clean aligning signal named as the reference. Using signals and systems theory, the effect of the technique on the spurs due to the aligning reference signal is completely analyzed. We show that adding properly the dual-edge aligning feature to phase-aligned ring oscillators cause the spurs in the neighborhood of the carrier to disappear. First, the validity of the results obtained from the derived analytical equations is verified through simulations using MATLAB. Then a complete circuit considering realistic models for its components is simulated in TSMC RF CMOS 0.18um process using ADS for further validation. 相似文献
