In this paper, an analytical model is proposed to calculate the network throughput of dedicated control channel protocols that are designed to schedule multiple packets to be transmitted on different data channels simultaneously. Based on the analytical model, a scheme by tuning the initial contention window size is proposed to maximize the network throughput. We also present a novel multi‐channel MAC protocol for single‐hop scenario. Simulation results show that the proposed model is capable of modeling the behaviors of dedicated control channel protocols accurately. Furthermore, the proposed scheme can reduce the cost of collisions and enhance the network throughput up to 22% for 1 kB packet size and 80 nodes. Compared with other dedicated control channel protocols, the proposed protocol can schedule more control packets and use multiple channels more efficiently. Charge transport in the ribbon phase of poly(2,5‐bis(3‐alkylthiophen‐2‐yl)thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene) (PBTTT)—one of the most highly ordered, chain‐extended crystalline microstructures available in a conjugated polymer semiconductor—is studied. Ribbon‐phase PBTTT has previously been found not to exhibit high carrier mobilities, but it is shown here that field‐effect mobilities depend strongly on the device architecture and active interface. When devices are constructed such that the ribbon‐phase films are in contact with either a polymer gate dielectric or an SiO2 gate dielectric modified by a hydrophobic, self‐assembled monolayer, high mobilities of up to 0.4 cm2 V?1 s?1 can be achieved, which is comparable to those observed previously in terrace‐phase PBTTT. In uniaxially aligned, zone‐cast films of ribbon‐phase PBTTT the mobility anisotropy is measured for transport both parallel and perpendicular to the polymer chain direction. The mobility anisotropy is relatively small, with the mobility along the polymer chain direction being higher by a factor of 3–5, consistent with the grain size encountered in the two transport directions.  相似文献

As a characteristic feature of conventional conjugated polymers, it has been generally agreed that conjugated polymers exhibit either high hole transport property (p‐type) or high electron transport property (n‐type). Although ambipolar properties have been demonstrated from specially designed conjugated polymers, only a few examples have exhibited ambipolar transport properties under limited conditions. Furthermore, there is, as yet, no example with ‘equivalent’ hole and electron transport properties. We describe the realization of an equivalent ambipolar organic field‐effect transistor (FET) by using a single‐component visible–near infrared absorbing diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)‐benzothiadiazole (BTZ) copolymer, namely poly[3,6‐dithiene‐2‐yl‐2,5‐di(2‐decyltetradecyl)‐pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐1,4‐dione‐5’,5’’‐diyl‐alt‐benzo‐2,1, 3‐thiadiazol‐4,7‐diyl] ( PDTDPP‐alt‐BTZ ). PDTDPP‐alt‐BTZ shows not only ideally balanced charge carrier mobilities for both electrons (?e = 0.09 cm2V?1s?1) and holes (?h = 0.1 cm2V?1s?1) but also its inverter constructed with the combination of two identical ambipolar FETs exhibits a gain of ~35 that is much higher than usually obtained values for unipolar logic.  相似文献

Arrays of nanowires are fabricated with alternating segments of the magnetostrictive alloy Fe1–xGax and Cu using electrochemical deposition in nanoporous anodic aluminium oxide (AAO) templates. The difficult nature of Ga‐alloy electrochemistry is overcome by controlling mass‐transfer and hydrodynamic conditions using novel rotating disk electrode templates to obtain highly uniform segment lengths throughout the arrays. Extensive structural characterization by XRD, EBSD and TEM reveals a strong <110> textured Fe1–xGax growth. Furthermore, using vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), we demonstrate that control of magnetization reversal processes is possible once uniform aspect ratios are obtained for both the Fe–Ga and Cu segments.  相似文献

The adhesion strength of a Cu/Ni-Cr/polyimide flexible copper clad laminate (FCCL), was evaluated according to the thickness of the Ni-Cr (Ni:Cr = 95:5 ratio) seed layer using the 90° peel test. The changes in the morphology, chemical bonding and adhesion properties were characterized by SEM, AFM and XPS. The peel strength of the FCCL increased with increasing thickness of the Ni-Cr seed layer, due to the increase in the ion bombardment caused by the higher power used in the Ni-Cr sputtering process. This increase in the FCCL peel strength was attributed to the lower proportion of C-N bonds and higher proportion of C-O bonds in the polyimide surface. The adhesion strength between the metal and polyimide was mostly attributed to the chemical interaction between the metal layer and the functional groups of the polyimide.  相似文献

The solidification of alloys in the Bi2Te3-PbTe pseudobinary system at off- and near-eutectic compositions was investigated for their microstructure and thermoelectric properties. Dendritic and lamellar structures were clearly observed due to the phase separation and the existence of a metastable ternary phase. In this system, three phases with different compositions were observed: binary Bi2Te3, PbTe, and metastable PbBi2Te4. The Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity, and thermal conductivity of ternary alloys as well as binary compounds were measured. The phonon thermal conductivities of Pb-Bi-Te alloys were lower than those in binary PbTe and Bi2Te3, which could have resulted from the increased interfacial area between phases due to the existence of the metastable ternary phase and the resultant phase separation.  相似文献

We developed a novel on-chip assay using protein arrays for quantitative and rapid analysis of blood coagulation factor XIII (FXIII) activity in human plasma. FXIII is activated by concerted action of thrombin and Ca(2+) and plays essential roles in hemostasis, angiogenesis, and wound healing. We fabricated protein arrays by immobilizing fibrinogen onto the 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane layer of well-type arrays and determined FXIII activity by analyzing biotinylated fibrinogen with Cy3-conjugated streptavidin. We determined optimal concentrations of Ca(2+), thrombin, and 5-(biotinamido)pentylamine (BAPA) for the on-chip activity assay, and the detection limit was 0.01 Lowey U/mL (9.9 pM). Using the on-chip activity assay, hepatocellular carcinoma patients (n = 24), but not hepatitis (n = 24) or liver cirrhosis patients (n = 41), had significantly lower FXIII activities (p < 0.001) than normal individuals (n = 41), indicating that FXIII activity is a possible diagnostic marker for hepatocellular carcinoma. In addition, we have successfully used this activity assay to reveal individual variations (37-57%, n = 65) in the inhibition rate of FXIII activity by isoniazid, the first-line antituberculosis agent. Thus, our optimized on-chip FXIII activity assay provides a quantitative and high-throughput approach to investigating the role(s) of FXIII in human diseases. Moreover, it has a strong potential to be applied toward FXIII-related personalized medicines.  相似文献

We developed an on-chip activity assay system to simultaneously determine the transamidating activities of blood coagulation factor XIII (FXIII) and transglutaminase 2 (TG2) by use of fibrinogen arrays. FXIII and TG2 are transglutaminase family members that are involved in various physiological functions, including vascular pathophysiology, bone development, and cancer progression. However, investigation of their differential functions is limited by the lack of high-throughput and isozyme-specific activity assays. For the on-chip activity assay, we fabricated protein arrays by immobilizing fibrinogen onto the 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane surface of well-type arrays, and we determined transamidating activity by probing biotinylated fibrinogen with Cy3-conjugated streptavidin on arrays. We optimized assay conditions, such as buffer pH, concentrations of dithiothreitol and 5-(biotinamido)pentylamine, and incubation time, and we created equations to determine specific FXIII and TG2 activities in samples. We successfully applied this assay system to monitor changes in FXIII and TG2 activities in THP-1 monocytic cells differentiated with phorbol 12-myristate13-acetate and interleukin-4. This activity assay is sensitive and suitable for high-throughput determination of FXIII and TG2 activities and thus has a strong potential for investigating the differential functions of these isozymes in cell signaling and cardiovascular pathophysiology research.  相似文献

Si:As blocked impurity band detectors have been partially deprocessed and measured by Fourier transform spectroscopy to determine their transmittance and reflectance at cryogenic temperatures over the wavelength range 2 μm to 40 μm. A method is presented by which the propagation constants can be extracted from an inversion of the transmittance and reflectance data. The effective propagation constants for the active layer from 2 μm to 20 μm were calculated as well as the absorption cross section of arsenic in silicon, which agrees well with previous results from the literature. The infrared absorptance of the full detector was determined, and the analytical method also provides an estimate of absorption in the active layer alone. Infrared absorptance of the active layer is compared to the quantum yield measured by photoelectric means on similar detectors. The optical methods outlined here, in conjunction with standard electronic measurements, could be used to predict the performance of such detectors from measurements of the blanket films from which they are to be fabricated.  相似文献
