Lanthanum therapy is an efficient therapy of hyperphosphoremia by chelating phosphore in the digestive tract. Lanthanum is a silvery white metallic element that belongs to group 3 of the periodic table. This drug is lightly absorbed and has low water solubility. It should be borne in mind that abdominal X‐rays of patients taking lanthanum carbonate may have a radio‐opaque appearance typical of imaging agents. This characteristic is suggested to confirm adherence of the patient by doing an abdominal X‐ray. We describe in our case a particular good compliant patient with slow digestive transit, which ends by pseudo‐occlusion.  相似文献

The general objective of our work is to create a geometric modeller based on iterative processes. With this objective in mind, we have to provide tools that work with fractal objects in the same manner as with objects of classical topology. In this article we focus on the constructing of an intermediate curve between two other curves defined by different iterative construction processes. A similar problem often arises with subdivision surfaces, when the goal is to connect two surfaces with different subdivision masks. We start by dealing with curves, willing to later generalise our approach to surfaces. We formalise the problem with the Boundary Controlled Iterated Function System model. Then we deduct the conditions that guarantees continuity of the intermediate curve. These conditions determine the structure of subdivision matrices. By studying the eigenvalues of the subdivision operators, we characterise the differential behaviour at the connection points between the curves and the intermediate one. This behaviour depends on the nature of the initial curves and coefficients of the subdivision matrices. We also suggest a method to control the differential behaviour by adding intermediate control points.  相似文献

Microwave extraction and separation has been used to increase the concentration of the extract compared to the conventional method with the same solid/liquid ratio, reducing extraction time and separate at the same time Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from non-Volatile Organic Compounds (NVOC) of boldo leaves. As preliminary study, a response surface method has been used to optimize the extraction of soluble material and the separation of VOC from the plant in laboratory scale. The results from the statistical analysis revealed that the optimized conditions were: microwave power 200 W, extraction time 56 min and solid liquid ratio of 7.5% of plants in water. Lab scale optimized microwave method is compared to conventional distillation, and requires a power/mass ratio of 0.4 W/g of water engaged. This power/mass ratio is kept in order to upscale from lab to pilot plant.  相似文献

Reactions between calcium magnesium aluminium silicates (CMAS) and Gd2Zr2O7 or 2ZrO2?Y2O3 (ss) are investigated within a temperature range of 1200–1300 °C and for durations of 1 h–100 h. The evolution of CMAS penetration depth in Gd2Zr2O7 and 2ZrO2?Y2O3 (ss) pellets varies considerably depending on the interaction time. A quantitative analysis of the nature and composition of phases observed in stationary conditions (powder/powder interaction) is performed by SEM-FEG coupled with WDS analyses using micro-agglomerated nanoparticles of Gd2Zr2O7 and 2ZrO2?Y2O3. Faster kinetics of the gadolinium-based system are illustrated through an analysis of the morphology of the reaction area and of the resulting CMAS tightness of reaction products. The compositions and quantities of reaction products observed at equilibrium are very similar for the two systems, but transient states are significantly different.  相似文献

An updated version of the ITER Preliminary Safety Report has been produced and submitted to the licensing authorities. It is revised and expanded in response to requests from the authorities after their review of an earlier version in 2008, to reflect enhancements in ITER safety provisions through design changes, to incorporate new and improved safety analyses and to take into account other ITER design evolution. The updated analyses show that changes to the Tokamak cooling water system design have enhanced confinement and reduced potential radiological releases as well as removing decay heat with very high reliability. New and updated accident scenario analyses, together with fire and explosion risk analyses, have shown that design provisions are sufficient to minimize the likelihood of accidents and reduce potential consequences to a very low level. Taken together, the improvements provided a stronger demonstration of the very good safety performance of the ITER design.  相似文献

A concept called reactive compatibilizer‐tracer is proposed. The latter bears reactive groups capable of reacting with its counterpart on forming a copolymer for in situ compatibilization, and fluorescent labels allowing determining very small amounts of the in situ formed compatibilizer and formation of micelles when it occurs. Owing to this concept, it is shown that a reactive compatibilizer may be very efficient at the beginning of a reactive blending process and may suddenly become completely inefficient, resulting in an abrupt and drastic increase in size of the dispersed phase domains. © 2015 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 62: 359–366, 2016  相似文献

Dual phase oxide membranes have shown promising hydrogen permeation fluxes in syngas applications due to their high mixed proton electron conduction (MPEC). However, the conductivity of grain boundaries can be many orders of magnitude lower than that of the bulk and so limits the total conductivity and hydrogen permeation. In this study, the three-dimensional nanoscale oxygen and cation distributions around grain and phase boundaries in a BaCe0.8Y0.2O3-δ-Ce0.8Y0.2O2-δ (BCY-YDC) membrane were quantified by atom probe tomography (APT) and related to average grain boundary conductivity measured by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Segregation varied among the general high-angle grain boundaries analyzed, but no trend from orientation analysis was determined. Correlative APT and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) of one YDC grain boundary revealed composition and cerium valence information, respectively, allowing for the determination of vacancies at the grain boundary. While a specific MPEC membrane is characterized, the results are relevant to proton and electron conduction in a number of technologically important ceramics.  相似文献

The thermal behavior of a model MK-based K-geopolymer was investigated between room temperature and 1400°C in order to evaluate its potentiality for high-temperature applications. The purpose of our study was to monitor the behavior of a geopolymer during a temperature rise in order to better understand its variations with respect to temperature. The works from the present paper focus only changes in the porous network; it follows a first part devoted to variations in the mineral matrix. The results obtained here show that the geopolymer material preserves its porous integrity up to 800°C, while maintaining the reversibility of water exchanges corresponding to about 25 weight percent. Together with the results of part 1, the findings of this study allow us to affirm that geopolymer materials are only very little affected by temperatures up to 800°C, or even 900°C (keeping its mesoporous amorphous structure).  相似文献

Myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1) is a severe neuromuscular disease mediated by a toxic gain of function of mutant RNAs. The neuropsychological manifestations affect multiple domains of cognition and behavior, but their etiology remains elusive. Transgenic DMSXL mice carry the DM1 mutation, show behavioral abnormalities, and express low levels of GLT1, a critical regulator of glutamate concentration in the synaptic cleft. However, the impact of glutamate homeostasis on neurotransmission in DM1 remains unknown. We confirmed reduced glutamate uptake in the DMSXL hippocampus. Patch clamp recordings in hippocampal slices revealed increased amplitude of tonic glutamate currents in DMSXL CA1 pyramidal neurons and DG granule cells, likely mediated by higher levels of ambient glutamate. Unexpectedly, extracellular GABA levels and tonic current were also elevated in DMSXL mice. Finally, we found evidence of synaptic dysfunction in DMSXL mice, suggestive of abnormal short-term plasticity, illustrated by an altered LTP time course in DG and in CA1. Synaptic dysfunction was accompanied by RNA foci accumulation in localized areas of the hippocampus and by the mis-splicing of candidate genes with relevant functions in neurotransmission. Molecular and functional changes triggered by toxic RNA may induce synaptic abnormalities in restricted brain areas that favor neuronal dysfunction.  相似文献
