Pre-lithiation via electrolysis, herein defined as electrolytic pre-lithiation, using cost-efficient electrolytes based on lithium chloride (LiCl), is successfully demonstrated as a proof-of-concept for enabling lithium-ion battery full-cells with high silicon content negative electrodes. An electrolyte for pre-lithiation based on γ-butyrolactone and LiCl is optimized using boron-containing additives (lithium bis(oxalato)borate, lithium difluoro(oxalate)borate) and CO2 with respect to the formation of a protective solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on silicon thin films as model electrodes. Reversible lithiation in Si||Li metal cells is demonstrated with Coulombic efficiencies (CEff) of 95–96% for optimized electrolytes comparable to 1 m LiPF6/EC:EMC 3:7. Formation of an effective SEI is shown by cyclic voltammetry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). electrolytic pre-lithiation experiments show that notable amounts of the gaseous product Cl2 dissolve in the electrolyte leading to a self-discharge Cl2/Cl shuttle mechanism between the electrodes lowering pre-lithiation efficiency and causing current collector corrosion. However, no significant degradation of the Si active material and the SEI due to contact with elemental chlorine is found by SEM, impedance, and XPS. In NCM111||Si full-cells, the capacity retention in the 100th cycle can be significantly increased from 54% to 78% by electrolytic pre-lithiation, compared to reference cells without pre-lithiation of Si.  相似文献

Spatial variations of weak layer and slab properties are believed to affect snow slope stability. To quantify spatial variability at the slope scale, penetration resistance was measured with a high-resolution snow micro-penetrometer (SMP) in a partly randomized grid pattern. The grid design consisted of 46 SMP measurement locations. In addition, a full snow profile and 20 compression tests as well as a Rutschblock test at the snow profile location were performed within the grid. Fifteen slopes of different aspects were sampled of which 11 could be analysed. Weak layer and slab properties were characterised using non-spatial as well as spatial statistics and results were related to slope stability. The geostatistical analysis revealed that in more than half of the cases a range could be determined. Slab layers tended to have more spatial structure than the weak layer. Though some trends are apparent, firm conclusions on the dependence of slope stability on spatial variations were not possible due to the limited range of snow conditions in the dataset, and the fact that the definition of slope stability remains elusive. Based on our limited data set, we can therefore not specify the conditions when spatial variations of weak layer and slab properties are most relevant for snow slab release.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate organogels as potential injectable drug-delivery systems for drospirenone (DRSP). Recently, studies on organogel characterization with focus on the parenteral injection are rarely to find in the literature. DRSP organogels contained the drug suspended in medium-chain triglycerides and were stabilized by various organogelators. The DRSP organogels were assessed in comparison to non-stabilized DRSP microcrystal suspensions (MCSs). Furthermore, rheological properties of the organogels, in particular the elastic modulus (G′), the complex viscosity (η*) and the elasticity, were evaluated with respect to the long-term stability, syringeability/injectability and in vitro release. DRSP organogels showed significantly improved storage stability compared to non-stabilized MCSs with regard to sedimentation and particle growth. Furthermore, all of the DRSP organogels showed shear-thinning behavior. Thus, ejection from syringes was possible by an autoinjector using 23G needles comparable to non-stabilized MCSs. Nevertheless, DRSP organogels exhibited significantly more sustained drug release than non-stabilized MCSs most likely caused by partial recovery of the organogelator structures at 37?°C after destruction. Consequently, DRSP organogels were evaluated to be superior to conventional non-stabilized MCSs. Silica organogels, which provided the highest elasticity, moderate G' and η* and avoided most efficiently particle growth, are slightly more preferable compared to the other DRSP organogels.  相似文献

The closure process for packaging is a key process. It ensures the protective function of packaging and assures the packaged goods a long life. In this context, efficient and reliable sealing processes are essential for the production of sustainable packages. In this paper, several characteristics of the ultrasonic sealing process will be discussed and accompanied by experimental results. The introduction provides an insight into the ultrasonic sealing process, its heating mechanisms and the process steps. A comparison is made with conduction sealing. Furthermore, basic principles of heating and energy dissipation are related to the influences of the sealing parameters on the seam strength. The experimental studies were carried out on typical packaging films, such as polyamide‐polyethylene laminates. The seam strength in ultrasonic sealing is compared with that in conductive sealing. A lower seam strength was found for ultrasonic sealing in all the tested films. Furthermore, the sealing behaviour of the packaging films contaminated with different kinds of foods was analysed for both sealing methods. Although the ultrasonic sealing method has marginal advantages for bulk materials such as wheat flour, conduction sealing was shown to be better for other products. A comparison of the energy consumption during the ultrasonic and conduction sealing verified the advantages of ultrasonic sealing. In particular for thick packaging films, the amount of energy required for bonding is significantly lower than for conduction sealing. In summary, this paper provides a survey of the characteristics of the ultrasonic sealing method in packaging applications – its advantages and limitations.
