Yttria-ceria-doped tetragonal zirconia (Y,Ce)-TZP)/alumina (Al2O3) composites were fabricated by hot isostatic pressing at 1400° to 1450°C and 196 MPa in an Ar–O2 atmosphere using the fine powders prepared by hydrolysis of ZrOCl2 solution. The composites consisting of 25 wt% Al2O3 and tetragonal zirconia with compositions 4 mol% YO1.5–4 mol% CeO2–ZrO2 and 2.5 mol% YO1.5–5.5 mol% CeO2–ZrO2 exhibited mean fracture strength as high as 2000 MPa and were resistant to phase transformation under saturated water vapor pressure at 180°C (1 MPa). Postsintering hot isostatic pressing of (4Y, 4Ce)-TZP/Al2O3 and (2.5Y, 5.5Ce)-TZP/Al2O3 composites was useful to enhance the phase stability under hydrothermal conditions and strength.  相似文献

Superconducting Ba2YCu3O7-δ thin films were prepared through an organometallic route. Single-phase Ba2YCu3O7-δ thin films with preferred orientation were successfully prepared on SrTiO3 (100) single-crystal substrates at 800°C by a dip coating method using partially hydrolyzed Ba-Y-Cu organometallic solutions. Preferentially oriented Ba2YCu3-O7-δ thin films were also prepared on MgO (100) substrates. By controlling the partial hydrolysis conditions, a coating solution for precursor thin films was kept accurately at the stoichiometric composition. The use of ozone gas during the pyrolysis of the precursor thin films was found to suppress the formation of BaCO3. Ba2YCu3O7-δ thin films with c -axis orientation perpendicular to a SrTiO3 (100) substrate, which were heat-treated at 900°C for 15 min, exhibited a superconductivity transition with an onset of 90 K and an end of 75 K.  相似文献

The electrochemical performance of a composite of nano-Si powder and a pyrolytic carbon of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with carbon nanofiber (CNF) was examined as an anode for solid-polymer lithium-ion batteries. Nano-Si powder was firstly coated with carbon by pyrolysis of PVC and then mixed with CNF (referred to as Si/C@CNF) using a rotation mixer. The composite exhibited good cycling performance, but suffered from a large irreversible capacity loss of which the retention was less than 60%. In order to reduce the loss, a thin lithium sheet was attached to the Si/C@CNF electrode surface as a reducing agent. The irreversible capacity of the first cycle was lowered to as much as 0 mAh g−1 and after the third cycle, the lithium insertion and extraction efficiency was almost 100%. A reversible capacity of more than 1000 mAh g−1 was still maintained after 40 cycles.  相似文献

Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) on a smooth surface of structural metal materials occurs by initiation and coalescence of micro cracks, subcritical crack propagation and multiple large crack formation or final failure under combination of material, stress and corrosive environment. In this paper, a Monte Carlo simulation of the SCC process is proposed based on stochastic properties for micro crack initiation and concepts in fracture mechanics for crack coalescence and propagation. The procedure is as follows: The possible number of grain-sized micro cracks which can be initiated is set for a given space and initiation times for all cracks are assigned by random numbers based on exponential distribution. Sites and sizes of cracks are assigned by uniform random numbers and normal random numbers, respectively. Coalescence and propagation of cracks are determined based on fracture mechanics. The emphasis in the model is put on the influence of semi-elliptical surface cracks. Numerical simulations are carried out based on the results of creviced-bent-beam tests for sensitized stainless steel type 304 under high-temperature and high-purity water containing dissolved oxygen and the influence of micro crack initiation rate and coalescence condition on the simulation results is discussed.  相似文献

According to the investigations of Cameron and his coworkers1–5 into the chain-matching phenomena between normal paraffin as a solvent and straight-chain fatty acid as an additive, the optimum condition in boundary lubrication is attained when the chain lengths of the additive and solvent are equal. A series of experiments has been conducted over the past ten years on the role of the chain-matching effect, not only on boundary lubrication but also widely on relevant interfacial phenomena. The primary cilium is a hair-like immotile organelle with specific membrane receptors, including the receptor of Hedgehog signaling, smoothened. The cilium organized in preosteoblasts promotes differentiation of the cells into osteoblasts (osteoblast differentiation) by mediating Hedgehog signaling to achieve bone formation. Notably, 4.1G is a plasma membrane-associated cytoskeletal protein that plays essential roles in various tissues, including the peripheral nervous system, testis, and retina. However, its function in the bone remains unexplored. In this study, we identified 4.1G expression in the bone. We found that, in the 4.1G-knockout mice, calcium deposits and primary cilium formation were suppressed in the trabecular bone, which is preosteoblast-rich region of the newborn tibia, indicating that 4.1G is a prerequisite for osteoblast differentiation by organizing the primary cilia in preosteoblasts. Next, we found that the primary cilium was elongated in the differentiating mouse preosteoblast cell line MC3T3-E1, whereas the knockdown of 4.1G suppressed its elongation. Moreover, 4.1G-knockdown suppressed the induction of the cilia-mediated Hedgehog signaling and subsequent osteoblast differentiation. These results demonstrate a new regulatory mechanism of 4.1G in bone formation that promotes the primary ciliogenesis in the differentiating preosteoblasts and induction of cilia-mediated osteoblast differentiation, resulting in bone formation at the newborn stage.  相似文献

Three type polymers containing the same azobenzene side chain group with different backbone structures, poly(DMAz6Fm), poly(DMAz6It) and poly(MAz6Ac) derived respectively from fumaric acid, itaconic acid and acrylic acid, were synthesized. The dependence of photo-response properties on the polymeric architecture was investigated for the solutions and films. By irradiation of the linearly polarized light (436 nm), uniaxial orientations of the thin films were induced and anisotropic properties were investigated by measurements of the order parameters and birefringence values.  相似文献

Optoelectronic properties and device applications of layered mixed-anion compounds such as oxychalcogenide LaCuOCh (Ch = chalcogen) and oxypnictide LaTMOPn (TM = 3d transition metal, Pn = pnicogen) are reviewed. Several distinctive functions have been found in these materials based on our original material exploration concept. Fabrication of high-quality epitaxial films of LaCuOCh leads to clarifying the excellent electrical and optical properties such as high hole mobility of 8 cm2/(V s) and heavy hole doping at >1021 cm?3 in LaCuOSe, and sharp and tunable-wavelength photoluminescence in the solid–solution systems in LaCuOCh. In addition, a room temperature operation of a light-emitting diode is demonstrated using LaCuOSe as a light-emitting layer. These results suggest that the layered oxychalcogenides have potential for light-emitting layers as well as transparent hole-injection layers in organic/inorganic light-emitting diodes. Furthermore, by extending the material system from the copper-based oxychalcogenides to isostructural compounds, transition metal-based oxypnictides LaTMOP (TM = Fe, Ni), we have found novel superconductors, LaFeOP and LaNiOP.  相似文献

A new cavity for diode side-pumped solid-state lasers was designed, built, and tested. The results were efficient absorption of pumped light in the media and homogeneous pumped-beam distribution under various pump-power levels, which generated Nd:YAG active media of different radii and concentrations and shifts of the diode wavelength. Full-multimode quasi-continuous pump operation with a slope efficiency of 40.5% was obtained from a plane-plane resonator equipped with two Nd:YAG rods. At a maximum average pump power of 1.33 kW, the optical-to-optical efficiency was 31.4%. Single-transverse-mode operation (M(2) factor of less than 1.1) of 163 W was demonstrated.  相似文献

The effects of antiarrhythmic agents, including Classes I and IV and 3-10 mM Mg2+ on aconitine-induced arrhythmias were examined using a conventional microelectrode and patch clamp method in Langendorff-perfused rabbit hearts and isolated guinea-pig ventricular myocytes. Intracoronary application of 0.1 microM aconitine induced polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (PVT) which continued for more than 60 minutes. Application of aconitine to ventricular myocytes caused a prolonged action potential duration (APD) and the appearance of early afterdepolarization (EAD) together with the occurrence of an inward hump of the I-V curve around -60 to -40 mV and increased outward current at positive voltages. Application of 10 microM TTX and 5 mM or higher Mg2+ restored aconitine-induced PVT to sinus rhythm in Langendorff-perfused preparations and also shortened the prolonged APD, demonstrating the abolishment of EAD by aconitine in ventricular myocytes. However, antiarrhythmic agents did not exert such effects. In conclusion, the antiarrhythmic actions of Mg2+ and TTX in aconitine-induced arrhythmia are to abolish EAD and shorten the prolonged APD by suppression of the inward Na+ current around -60 to -40 mV.  相似文献
