Quantum ternary logic is a promising emerging technology for the future quantum computing. Ternary reversible logic circuit design has potential advantages over the binary ones like its logarithmic reduction in the number of qudits. In reversible logic all computations are done in an invertible fashion. In this paper, we propose a new quantum reversible ternary half adder with quantum cost of only 7 and a new quantum ternary full adder with a quantum cost of only 14. We termed it QTFA. Then we propose 3-qutrit parallel adders. Two different structures are suggested: with and without input carry. Next, we propose quantum ternary coded decimal (TCD) detector circuits. Two different approaches are investigated: based on invalid numbers and based on valid numbers. Finally, we propose the quantum realization of TCD adder circuits. Also here, two approaches are discussed. Overall, the proposed reversible ternary full adder is the best between its counterparts comparing the figures of merits. The proposed 3-qutrit parallel adders are compared with the existing designs and the improvements are reported. On the other hand, this paper suggested the quantum reversible TCD adder designs for the first time. All the proposed designs are realized using macro-level ternary Toffoli gates which are built on the top of the ion-trap realizable ternary 1-qutrit gates and 2-qutrit Muthukrishnan–Stroud gates. 相似文献

Due to the massive amount of heterogeneous information on the web, insufficient and vague user queries, and use of the same query by different users for different aims, the information retrieval process deals with a huge amount of uncertainty and doubt. Under such circumstances, designing an efficient retrieval function and ranking algorithm by which the most relevant results are provided is of the greatest importance. In this paper, a learning automata-based ranking function discovery algorithm in which different sources of information are combined is proposed. In this method, the learning automaton is used to adjust the portion of the final ranking that is assigned to each source of evidence based on the user feedback. All sources of information are first given the same importance. The proportion of a given source increases, if the documents provided by this source are reviewed by the user and decreases otherwise. As the proposed algorithm proceeds, the probability of appearance of each source in the final ranking gets proportional to its relevance to the user queries. Several simulation experiments are conducted on well-known data collections and query types to show the performance of the proposed algorithm. The obtained results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms several existing methods in terms of precision at position n, mean average precision, and normalized discount cumulative gain. 相似文献

Understanding the effect of blur is an important problem in unconstrained visual analysis. We address this problem in the context of image-based recognition by a fusion of image-formation models and differential geometric tools. First, we discuss the space spanned by blurred versions of an image and then, under certain assumptions, provide a differential geometric analysis of that space. More specifically, we create a subspace resulting from convolution of an image with a complete set of orthonormal basis functions of a prespecified maximum size (that can represent an arbitrary blur kernel within that size), and show that the corresponding subspaces created from a clean image and its blurred versions are equal under the ideal case of zero noise and some assumptions on the properties of blur kernels. We then study the practical utility of this subspace representation for the problem of direct recognition of blurred faces by viewing the subspaces as points on the Grassmann manifold and present methods to perform recognition for cases where the blur is both homogenous and spatially varying. We empirically analyze the effect of noise, as well as the presence of other facial variations between the gallery and probe images, and provide comparisons with existing approaches on standard data sets. 相似文献

The influence of coiling temperature on the final microstructure and precipitation has been analyzed in several low carbon Nb and Nb-Mo microalloyed steels. A throughout characterization of the complex microstructures has been performed using electron backscattered diffraction, measuring low and high angle unit sizes, microstructural substructure, as well as quantifying the homogeneity. An important microstructural refinement is observed for all compositions as the coiling temperature decreases. Regarding precipitation, the coiling temperature strongly modifies the size and density of the fine precipitates, being 550 °C the optimal coiling temperature for the Nb-Mo steels. The addition of Mo to Nb steels provides a refinement of the precipitates and, therefore, enhances their contribution to strengthening. Considering all the microstructural and precipitation quantification data, the yield strength was estimated and the contribution of the different mechanisms calculated. The grain size contribution is proven to be the most important factor regarding strengthening, followed by dislocation density and precipitation especially at low coiling temperatures and Nb-Mo steels. 相似文献

Design of magnetic resonance micro‐coil arrays with low cross‐talk among the coils can be the main challenge to improve the effectiveness of magnetic resonance micro‐imaging because the electrical cross‐talk which is mainly due to the inductive coupling perturbs the sensitivity profile of the array and causes image artifacts. In this work, a capacitive decoupling network with N(M ? 1) + (N ? 1)(M ? 2) capacitors is proposed to reduce the inductive coupling in an N × M array. A 3 × 3 array of optimized micro‐coils is designed using the finite element simulations and all the needed elements for the array equivalent circuit are extracted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed decoupling method by assessing the reduction of the coupled signals after employing the capacitive network on the circuit. The achieved results for the designed array show that the high cross‐talk level is reduced by the factor of 2.2–3.4 after employing the capacitive network. By employing this method of decoupling, the adjacent coils in each row and inner columns can be decoupled properly while the minimum decoupling belongs to the outer columns because of the lack of all necessary decoupling capacitances for these columns. The main advantages of the proposed decoupling method are its efficiency and design easiness which facilitates the design of dense arrays with the properly decoupled coils, especially the inner coils which are more coupled due to their neighbors. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents 2‐novel linear matrix inequality (LMI)‐based adaptive output feedback fault‐tolerant control strategies for the class of nonlinear Lipschitz systems in the presence of bounded matched or mismatched disturbances and simultaneous occurrence of actuator faults, including failure, loss of effectiveness, and stuck. The constructive algorithms based on LMI with creatively using Lyapunov stability theory and without the need for an explicit information about mode of actuator faults or fault detection and isolation mechanism are developed for online tuning of adaptive and fixed output‐feedback gains to stabilize the closed‐loop control system asymptotically. The proposed controllers guarantee to compensate actuator faults effects and to attenuate disturbance effects. The resulting control methods have simpler structure, as compared with most existing recent methods and more suitable for practical systems. The merits of the proposed fault‐tolerant control scheme have been verified by the simulation on nonlinear Boeing 747 lateral motion dynamic model subjected to actuator faults. 相似文献

The fatigue response of a high pressure die-cast AM60B Mg alloy is studied at room and elevated temperatures. The fatigue tests are conducted with stress ratio of R?=?0.1 and frequency of 30?Hz. The main objective is to determine whether elevated temperature would affect the fatigue response of the alloy. In addition, fatigue crack growth characteristics of the alloy is investigated at room temperature. Conventional and gradient CoNiCrAlYSi coatings were produced by using low vacuum plasma spray and an additional step of diffusional over aluminizing (pack cementation) techniques on an Inconel-738 substrate. Hot corrosion of these coatings was investigated using Na2SO4–20wt%NaVO3 molten salt at 880?°C for 800?h. Hot corrosion rate was determined by measuring the weight gain of the specimens at regular intervals for a duration of 20?h. X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and electron probe micro analysis techniques were used to determine the nature of phases, investigation of the thermally grown oxide, examination of the surface attack and determination of the elemental distribution. The gradient coating showed better performance by re-healing alumina scale due to its possession of more β phase as Al reservoir. Results indicated that pack cementation process caused an increase in amount of aluminum-rich β phase and better hot corrosion properties of gradient coatings owing to the Al enrichment in the outer layer and rapid formation of protective oxide on the surface. 相似文献
