This study presents an energetic performance analysis for a combined power generation system consisting of a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). In order to simulate the SOFC–ORC combined system under steady‐state conditions, a mathematical model is developed. The developed model is used to determine the potential effects caused by the changes of the design parameters on the energetic performance of the combined system. As design parameters, turbine inlet pressure, condenser temperature, fuel utilization, current density, compressor pressure ratio, and cell operating temperature are taken into account. In this regard, the electrical power and First Law efficiency are estimated by parametrical analysis and discussed comprehensively. Results of these analyses show that the efficiency is increased about 14–25% by recovering SOFC waste heat through ORC based on investigated design parameter conditions. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of different concentrations of xanthan and guar gums and their blends on staling of gluten-free rice cakes baked in microwave-infrared combination oven (MW–IR) and to compare the cakes with conventionally baked ones. Gums were added at concentrations of 0.3% and 1.0%. For preparation of gum blend, 0.5% xanthan gum was mixed with 0.5% guar gum. In order to understand the staling behaviour of cakes, cakes were stored at 22 ± 2 °C for 120 h. Xanthan-guar gum blend decreased hardness, weight loss, retrogradation enthalpy and the change in setback viscosity values of cakes during storage for both types of ovens as compared to control formulation. It was found that oven type was a significant factor in affecting staling parameters of gluten-free cakes.  相似文献

There is a paucity of data in respect of the nutritional quality of complementary foods for infants and young children aged between 6 and 12 months. In this study, we developed and validated an analytical method for determination of the endocrine-disrupting organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) and elements (As, Cd, and Pb) in infant formula and baby foods. Therefore, it found out the contamination level of the both OCPs and some trace metals (As, Cd, and Pb) in widely consumed infant formula and baby food in Turkey. Metal concentrations in baby foods and infant formula were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Samples were digested with nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide in a microwave oven. Determination of 24 organochlorine pesticide residues in baby foods and infant formula was completed by using gas chromatography double mass spectrometry. QuEChERS extraction method was carried out in the sample preparation part. The analytical performance of the entire procedure, such as linearity, the detection of limit, limit of quantification, specificity/selectivity, recovery (%), and precision, were assessed. The recoveries ranged from 93% (As) to 100% (Pb) for elements 78–98% for organochlorine pesticide residues (OCPs) at 100 ng mL?1. According to the results, lead, cadmium, and pesticides were not detected in any of the samples, while arsenic was detected in 16 samples.  相似文献

In this study, the effects of premixed ratio of diethyl ether (DEE) on the combustion and exhaust emissions of a single-cylinder, HCCI-DI engine were investigated. The experiments were performed at the engine speed of 2200 rpm and 19 N m operating conditions. The amount of the premixed DEE was controlled by a programmable electronic control unit (ECU) and the DEE injection was conducted into the intake air charge using low pressure injector. The premixed fuel ratio (PFR) of DEE was changed from 0% to 40% and results were compared to neat diesel operation. The percentages of premixed fuel were calculated from the energy ratio of premixed DEE fuel to total energy rate of the fuels. The experimental results show that single stage ignition was found with the addition of premixed DEE fuel. Increasing and phasing in-cylinder pressure and heat release were observed in the premixed stage of the combustion. Lower diffusion combustion was also occurred. Cycle-to cycle variations were very small with diesel fuel and 10% DEE premixed fuel ratio. Audible knocking occurred with 40% DEE premixed fuel ratio. NOx-soot trade-off characteristics were changed and improvements were found simultaneously. NOx and soot emissions decreased up to 19.4% and 76.1%, respectively, while exhaust gas temperature decreased by 23.8%. On the other hand, CO and HC emissions increased.  相似文献

In this study, pyrolysis of tomato waste has been performed in fixed bed tubular reactor at 500 °C, both in absence and presence of Cu/Al2O3 catalyst. The influences of heating rate, catalyst preparation method and catalyst loading on bio-oil yields and properties were examined. According to pyrolysis experiments, the highest bio-oil yield was obtained as 30.31% with a heating rate of 100 °C/min, 5% Cu/Al2O3 catalyst loading ratio and co-precipitation method. Results showed that the catalysts have strong positive effect on bio-oil yields. Bio-oil quality obtained from fast catalytic pyrolysis was more favorable than that obtained from non-catalytic and slow catalytic pyrolysis.  相似文献

In this work, sulfur-doped graphene-coated electrodes are prepared by cyclic voltammetry in different potential ranges and different cycles (from 10 to 50) for selective modification of electrodes by different functional groups. The prepared electrodes are characterized by spectroscopic, microscopic and electrochemical methods. In scanning electron microscopic analysis, formation of graphene layers and their porous structure have been determined. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopic and cyclic voltammetric analyses are also used in electrochemical characterization of the electrodes. Then, the prepared sulfur-doped graphene-coated electrodes by using cyclic voltammetry in one-step and low cost are used as electrode materials of supercapacitor for the first time in the literature. Since the mesoporous structure of the electrodes prepared in lower potential ranges increases, specific capacitance of the electrodes increases from 74 to 1833 mF cm−2 with 10 mA cm−2 current density. This result shows that specific capacitances of prepared electrodes are higher than those of the electrodes prepared with metal-doped in the literature.  相似文献

The multivariate calibration methods—principal component regression and partial least squares—were employed for the prediction of antioxidant capacities of fruit juices. High-performance liquid chromatography and spectrophotometric approaches were used to determine the antioxidant capacities of fruit juices. The importance of calibration design was investigated by calculating the prediction and validation errors. The influences of using independent validation sets were emphasized. Calibration design is shown to have major effect on principal component regression and partial least squares errors. The models developed on the basis of the mean-centered data were able to predict the total antioxidant activity with a precision comparable to that of the reference [2,2-azino-di-(3-ethylbenzothialozine-sulfonic acid)] method. The partial least squares model seems preferable because of its predictive and describing abilities and good interpretability of the contribution of compounds to the antioxidant capacity. The contribution of individual phenolic compounds to the antioxidant capacity was identified by high-performance liquid chromatography.  相似文献
