在室温和高温下,以不同辐射剂量的H+、N+和Ar+离子辐照多壁碳纳米管和无定形碳纳米线。利用透射电镜和拉曼光谱研究多壁碳纳米管和无定形碳纳米线的结构变化及损伤。以70keV N+离子束辐射多壁碳纳米管在室温下可形成无定形碳纳米线。1000K下70keV的H+离子束照射导致无定形碳纳米线向金刚石结构转变。离子辐照多壁碳纳米管的有序程度足够高,70keV的N+和Ar+离子能够引起碳从多壁碳纳米管的剥落。离子辐射能够为缺陷的转化提供必需的动力学驱动力。  相似文献

The question of chemisorption versus physisorption during hydrogen storage in carbon nanotubes (CNTs) is addressed experimentally. We utilize a powerful measurement technique based on a magnetic suspension balance coupled with a residual gas analyzer, and report new data for hydrogen sorption at pressures of up to 100 bar at 25 °C. The measured sorption capacity is less than 0.2 wt.%, and there is hysteresis in the sorption isotherms when multi-walled CNTs are exposed to hydrogen after pretreatment at elevated temperatures. The cause of the hysteresis is then studied, and is shown to be due to a combination of weak sorption – physisorption – and strong sorption – chemisorption – in the CNTs. Analysis of the experimental data enables us to calculate separately the individual hydrogen physisorption and chemisorption isotherms in CNTs that, to our knowledge, are reported for the first time here. The maximum measured hydrogen physisorption and chemisorption are 0.13 wt.% and 0.058 wt.%, respectively.  相似文献

Congestion of transmission line is a vital issue and its management pose a technical challenge in power system deregulation. Congestion occurs in deregulated electricity market when transmission capacity is not sufficient to simultaneously accommodate all constraints of power transmission through a line. Therefore, to manage congestion, a locational marginal price (LMP) based zonal congestion management approach in a deregulated electricity market has been proposed in this paper. As LMP is an economic indicator and its difference between two buses across a transmission line provides the measure of the degree of congestion, therefore, it is efficiently and reliably used in deregulated electricity market for congestion management. This paper utilizes the difference of LMP across a transmission line to categorize various congestion zones in the system. After the identification of congestion zones, distributed generation is optimally placed in most congestion sensitive zones using LMP difference in order to manage congestion. The performance of the proposed methodology has been tested on the IEEE 14-bus system and IEEE 57-bus system.  相似文献

Functional and nutraceutical foods have captured the global market owing to trends and perceptions of consumers on the natural products and diet-health linkages. Health promoting potential of such foods has been attributed to the presence of essential bioactive moieties. Wheat, being staple food in many parts of the world, gained substantial attention of researchers particularly for the extraction of various functional components. Among these, fructan oligosaccharides in nature bestow quality of baked products and provide protection against various physiological disorders. Addition of fructan in various baked products enhances softness and color, especially in bread, and also imparts textural improvement. Moreover, fructans boost mineral absorption, hypocholesterolemic, and hypoglycemic perspectives, bifidogenic nature and controlling cancer insurgence. The benefits allied with fructan are mainly dose and time dependent. In this context, its industrial applications for vulnerable groups are increasing worldwide.  相似文献

Ni doped Cr2O3 (NCO) films have attracted much attention due to their applications in the field of photovoltaics. This study reports the tailoring of structural, electrical and optical properties as a function of Ni doping in Chromium oxide (Cr2O3). NCO thin films were grown by Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) using 2nd harmonic Nd:YAG Laser on n-Si (100) with in-situ annealing of 450?°C. Structural analyses based on X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and Raman Spectroscopy showed the inconsistent variation in crystallinity and shift in A1g band in turn revealing the successful incorporation of Ni into Chromium oxide host lattice. In addition, electrical measurements also showed an inconsistent variation in resistivity ranging from 102 to 104Ω?cm. The properties showed widening of band gap energy (Eg) from 3.41 to 3.60?eV as a function of Ni doping concentration with significantly decreased reflectance in the range of 500–600?nm thereby increasing the absorption, a pre-requisite for solar absorbers.  相似文献

A probabilistic opposition-based Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm with Velocity Clamping and inertia weights (OvcPSO) is designed for function optimization—to accelerate the convergence speed and to optimize solution’s accuracy on standard benchmark functions. In this work, probabilistic opposition-based learning for particles is incorporated with PSO to enhance the convergence rate—it uses velocity clamping and inertia weights to control the position, speed and direction of particles to avoid premature convergence. A comprehensive set of 58 complex benchmark functions including a wide range of dimensions have been used for experimental verification. It is evident from the results that OvcPSO can deal with complex optimization problems effectively and efficiently. A series of experiments have been performed to investigate the influence of population size and dimensions upon the performance of different PSO variants. It also outperforms FDR-PSO, CLPSO, FIPS, CPSO-H and GOPSO on various benchmark functions. Last but not the least, OvcPSO has also been compared with opposition-based differential evolution (ODE); it outperforms ODE on lower swarm population and higher-dimensional functions.  相似文献

Ho-substituted Li–Ni ferrites with composition L i1.2Ni0.4HoxFe2-xO4; 0≤ x ≤ 0.15 were synthesized by a self-ignited sol-gel process. An annealing temperature of 950 °C is estimated via thermal-gravimetric (TGA) analysis. X-ray diffraction (XRD) scans have confirmed the formation of the ferrite phase with a spinel structure in all samples. Substitution of Ho ions on the B-site significantly reduced the porosity from 38 -to 23% and the crystallite size from 23.4 -to 21.7 nm. Microstructural analysis revealed a denser structure with an increase in Ho content. Dielectric results showed that both the dielectric loss and dielectric constant depict a nonlinear variation with the addition of Ho. Complex impedance behavior with a single semicircle for all samples suggests the predominant effect of the grain boundary mechanism. The substitution of Ho ions in place of Fe ions significantly decreased the electrical conductivity. The anisotropic Ho3+ ions reinforce the L-S coupling which consequently enhanced the coercive force from 145 -to 389 Oe, and thus the anisotropy constant.  相似文献

Solid circulation patterns were determined by measuring collisions between tracer particles and cylindrical probes in liquid—solid and gas—liquid—solid fluidized beds. Special probes were used to obtain two‐ and three‐dimensional views of particle motion. Circulation patterns for 3 and 5 mm glass beads were studied. Mixing cells, which had been formed at low liquid velocities, grew in size and eventually merged as the liquid velocity increased. The flow patterns of smaller particles having the same density as bed particles and particles lighter than bed particles (graphite particles) with the same size were also measured.  相似文献

In this study, a two‐dimensional mathematical model was developed considering the hydrodynamic behaviour of a circulating fluidised bed biomass gasifier (CFBBG), which is also applicable for other low‐density particles. In the modelling, the CFB riser was divided into two regions: a dense region at the bottom and a dilute region at the top of the riser. Kunii and Levenspiel's [Kunii and Levenspiel, Powder Technol. 61, 193‐206 (1990)] model was adopted to express the vertical solids distribution with some other assumptions. Radial distributions of bed voidage were taken into account in the upper zone by using Zhang et al.'s [Zhang et al., Chem. Eng. Sci. 46(12), 3045‐3052 (1991)] correlation. For model validation purposes, a cold model CFB was employed, in which sawdust was transported with air as the fluidising agent. The column is 10 m in height and 280 mm in diameter, and is equipped with pressure transducers to measure axial pressure profile and with a reflective optical fibre probe to measure local solids holdup. A satisfactory agreement between the model predictions and experimental data was found. © 2011 Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering  相似文献
