This paper deals with a new type of soft gripper which can softly and gently conform to objects of any shape and hold them with uniform pressure. This gripping function is realized by means of a mechanism consisting of multi-links and series of pulleys which can be simply actuated by a pair of wires. Plasmonic nanolasers provide a valuable opportunity for expanding sub-wavelength applications. Due to the potential of on-chip integration, semiconductor nanowire (NW)-based plasmonic nanolasers that support the waveguide mode attract a high level of interest. To date, perovskite quantum dots (QDs) based plasmonic lasers, especially nanolasers that support plasmonic-waveguide mode, are still a challenge and remain unexplored. Here, metallic NW coupled CsPbBr3 QDs plasmonic-waveguide lasers are reported. By embedding Ag NWs in QDs film, an evolution from amplified spontaneous emission with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 6.6 nm to localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) supported random lasing is observed. When the pump light is focused on a single Ag NW, a QD-NW coupled plasmonic-waveguide laser with a much narrower emission peak (FWHM = 0.4 nm) is realized on a single Ag NW with the uniform polyvinylpyrrolidone layer. The QDs serve as the gain medium while the Ag NW serves as a resonant cavity and propagating plasmonic lasing modes. Furthermore, by pumping two Ag NWs with different directions, a dual-wavelength lasing switch is realized. The demonstration of metallic NW coupled QDs plasmonic nanolaser would provide an alternative approach for ultrasmall light sources as well as fundamental studies of light matter interactions.  相似文献

A new method for the evaluation of kinetic parameters is proposed, in which differential thermal analysis (DTA) is carried out under psuedo-isothermal conditions, that is, both sample and reference materials are not heated and the temperatures remain as isothermal as possible. The hydrolysis of acetic anhydride was used as a model of simple reaction for the DTA experiment. The kinetic parameters such as the rate constant, the heat of reaction and the activation energy, evaluated from the proposed method were in good agreement with those obtained from conventional titration measurements. Systematic errors in the rate constant evaluation are discussed in order to enable the kinetic parameters to be evaluated accurately.  相似文献

We investigated the sound absorption characteristics of an organic hybrid material comprised of chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) as the matrix polymer and N,N′‐dicyclohexyl‐2‐benzothiazolyl sulfenamide (DBS) as the second component of an organic low‐molecular‐weight compound. We found specific crystallites, obtained by annealing, that generated new absorption for a low‐frequency sound in a CPE/DBS blend. We observed two sound absorption peaks, around 300 and 1000 Hz, in the annealed CPE/DBS (50 : 50 w/w) blends, whereas those peaks were not observed in the untreated sample. There were two kinds of crystals with different melting points in the annealed samples. It was confirmed that the crystals with the lower melting point brought about sound absorption at a low frequency. The crystals that had the lower melting point were smaller and/or more disordered than the crystals that had the higher melting point. We calculated the fraction of these two types of crystals from differential scanning calorimetry and wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction measurements. The annealing or reannealing temperature specified the fraction of the crystal with the lower melting point, and the obtained crystal fraction characterized sound absorption frequency. Therefore, it is possible to control the sound absorption frequency of an organic hybrid by heat treatment such as annealing. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2006  相似文献

The synthesis of ethyl tert-butyl ether (ETBE) from a liquid phase reaction between tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) and ethanol (EtOH) in reactive distillation has been studied.β-Zeolite catalysts with three compositions (Si/Al ratio=13, 36 and 55) were compared by testing the reaction in a semi-batch reactor. Although they showed almost the same performance, the one with Si/Al ratio of 55 was selected for the kinetic and reactive distillation studies because it is commercially available and present in a ready-to-use form. The kinetic parameters of the reaction determined by fitting parameters with the experimental results at temperature in the range of 343–363 K were used in an ASPEN PLUS simulator. Experimental results of the reactive distillation at a standard condition were used to validate a rigorous reactive distillation model of the ASPEN PLUS used in a simulation study. The effects of various operating parameters such as condenser temperature, feed molar flow rate, reflux ratio, heat duty and mole ratio of H2O : EtOH on the reactive distillation performance were then investigated via simulation using the ASPEN PLUS program. The results were compared between two reactive distillation columns: one packed withβ-zeolite and the other with conventional Amberlyst-15. It was found that the effect of various operating parameters for both types of catalysts follows the same trend; however, the column packed withΒ-zeolite outperforms that with Amberlyst-15 catalyst due to the higher selectivity of the catalyst.  相似文献

An effective copper surface treatment for adhesive bonding of copper foil and diallylphthalate resin was investigated. It involves dipping the copper foil in the potassium dichromate-sulfuric acid solution (K2Cr2O7:76 g/l, H2SO4:0.67 N) at 60°C for 5 min. The dichromate treated copper foil and glass based prepregs of diallylphthalate resin were laminated under the pressure of 38 kg/cm2 for 30 min at 145°C. Interface characteristics of the dichromate treated copper foil and diallylphthalate resin were examined. It was found that chromium is formed on the surfaces of the treated copper foil, and allyl groups in diallylphthalate molecule are oriented to the atoms, that is, the adhesive bonding is performed by the chemical affinity of chromium and allyl groups. The allyl group has a delocalized π-electron system, and that its bonding to a transition metal as chromium is appropriate and justifiable by quantum chemical considerations.  相似文献

Wastewater containing fluoride requires polishing after precipitation/coagulation treatment in order to meet stringent environmental legislation. Accordingly, adsorption characteristics of fluoride onto schwertmannite adsorbent were studied in a batch system with respect to changes in initial concentration of fluoride, equilibrium pH of sample solution, adsorbent dosage and co-existing ions. Equilibrium adsorption data were obtained at 295.6, 303 and 313 K, and are interpreted in terms of two-site Langmuir, Freundlich, Langmuir-Freundlich, Redlich-Peterson, Tóth and Dubinin-Radushkevitch isotherm models. The experimental and equilibrium modeling results revealed that the capacity of schwertmannite for fluoride is high but insensitive to changes in solution temperature. An increase in equilibrium pH of sample solution reduced significantly the fluoride removal efficiency. In binary component systems, inner-sphere complex forming species had negative effects on fluoride adsorption while outer-sphere complex forming species improved slightly the fluoride removal efficiency. The schwertmannite adsorbent was regenerable and had the ability to lower the fluoride concentration to acceptable levels.  相似文献

Precious metals (Pt and Pd) and rare earth elements (Ce in the form of CeO2) are typical materials for heterogeneous exhaust‐gas catalysts in automotive systems. However, their limited resources and high market‐driven prices are principal issues in realizing the path toward a more sustainable society. In this regard, herein, a nanoporous NiCuMnO catalyst, which is both abundant and durable, is synthesized by one‐step free dealloying. The catalyst thus developed exhibits catalytic activity and durability for NO reduction and CO oxidation. Microstructure characterization indicates a distinct structural feature: catalytically active Cu/CuO regions are tangled with a stable nanoporous NiMnO network after activation. The results obtained by in situ transmission electron microscopy during NO reduction clearly capture the unique reaction‐induced self‐transformation of the nanostructure. This finding can possibly pave the way for the design of new catalysts for the conversion of exhaust gas based on the element strategy.  相似文献

An electron-beam-induced-current technique has been applied to scanning transmission electron microscopy to characterize GaN/AlGaN/n-Si heterostructures. The structure was formed by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy using AlGaN as an intermediate layer. Two samples with nominal intermediate layer thicknesses of 60 and 120 nm were studied. It was found that there is a junction in the n-type Si region underneath the nitride/Si interface irrespective of the intermediate layer thickness, whereas induced current occurred neither in the nitride region nor at the nitride/Si interface. The junction formed was found to be undulated. The sample with the thin intermediate layer had undulations of a shorter periodicity than that with the thick intermediate layer. The formation of the junction is attributed to the diffusion of Al during the nitride growth.  相似文献
