In this study, the Fiber-Metal Laminates (FMLs) containing glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (GFPP) and aluminum (Al) sheet were consolidated with Al foam cores for preparing the sandwich panels. The aim of this article is the comparison of the flexural properties of FML/Al foam sandwich panels bonded with various surface modification approaches (silane treatment and combination of silane treatment with polypropylene (PP) based film addition). The FML/foam sandwich systems were fabricated by laminating the components in a mould at 200 °C under 1.5 MPa pressure. The energy absorbtion capacities and flexural mechanical properties of the prepared sandwich systems were evaluated by mechanical tests. Experiments were performed on samples of varying foam thicknesses (8, 20 and 30 mm). The bonding among the sandwich components were achieved by various surface modification techniques. The Al sheet/Al foam sandwiches were also consolidated by bonding the components with an epoxy adhesive to reveal the effect of GFPP on the flexural performance of the sandwich structures.  相似文献

This paper presents the feasibility of incorporating ultra-fine particles collected in the separator bag filter during the process of manufacturing cement (SBFC) as an substitution material for cement. Approximately 2.5% of SBFC is produced during OPC manufacturing process. Also, the average size of SBFC particles is about 5 μm, the average size of OPC particles is about 14 μm. This method does not require additional processes needed in the existing processes to manufacture high early strength cement such as modifying mineral components and adjusting the firing temperature. Moreover, it can also solve the issue of efficiency decrease resulted from the increase of the grinding time applied in the existing process of manufacturing microcement. In order to investigate the characteristic properties of this cement mixture, cement blends have been produced by using different amounts of SBFC. While the blaine value of 100% SBFC was significantly higher (6953 cm2/g) than that of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), its chemical composition showed no significant difference. Cement paste, mortar mixtures have been prepared by using cement blends incorporating 0, 50 and 100% SBFC by weight. Flowability, setting time and compressive strength tests has been performed. Test results showed that substitution of SBFC negatively affect the flowability of cement paste and mortar mixtures. Moreover, setting times shortened, compressive and flexural strength values increased by the substitution of SBFC. Finally, microstructure analysis of cement paste samples showed that incorporation of SBFC reduced the internal porosity by 9% as determined by the proposed method. The internal porosity of paste was measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP). The compressive strength and bending strength of mortar were higher in the order of 100, 50 and 0% SBFC mixed.  相似文献

One of the most important events for hopping robots is lift‐off (the end of thrusting phase) since hopping motions often become unstable during the lift‐off. Therefore, we focus on the thrusting phase. In this research, we propose a new controller, which combines two controllers. We also propose a trajectory planning so that a hopping robot follows command value of the vertical velocity. The liquidus and invariant reaction temperatures were measured by thermal analyses for Bi-Ti alloys containing 0-65 at.% of Ti. The liquidus temperatures were clearly much lower than the literature values. Equilibrium experiments showed the existence of a new phase, Bi2Ti3. However, the reported Bi3Ti2 phase was not observed in the present study. The temperatures of the peritectic reaction involving Bi2Ti, Bi9Ti8, and Bi2Ti3 were also clarified to be 425, 930, and 970 °C, respectively. Thus, a new phase diagram of the Bi-Ti system was constructed.  相似文献

Delafossite-type solid solution, CuFe1?x Al x O2, was synthesized and its oxygen storage capacity (OSC) was investigated under oxidation/reduction cycle using a pulse injection method. CuFe1?x Al x O2 was synthesized by heating at 1100–1150 °C in N2 flow. OSC values for x = 0.1 and 0.3 were larger than that for x = 0 above 500 °C, indicating that substitution of Fe3+ by Al3+ improved OSC. For x = 0.5–1.0, temperature at which OSC increased steeply shifted upward. Results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) after the thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG–DTA) measurement in air for CuFe1?x Al x O2 (x = 0–0.7) indicated that oxidative decomposition of delafossite phases to CuO and spinel-type phase occurred. In addition, Cu reduction temperature estimated by the temperature programmed reduction using H2 (H2-TPR) shifted to higher temperature with increasing Al content. The XRD results of the samples after H2 and O2/He pulse injection suggested that the oxygen storage/release behavior was caused by reversible oxidation/reduction process between CuFe1?x Al x O2 delafossite and (Fe1?x Al x )3O4 spinel phase +Cu.  相似文献

Highly efficient all solid state dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) were fabricated by the specific interaction of CuI with the NCS groups of the dye molecules and that of the counter electrodes. The counter electrodes were prepared by blending nano size carbon in the PEDOT:PSS dispersion. The counter electrodes were covered with the solution containing guanidine thiocyanate, and heated to give the electrode with larger number of NCS groups. Electrostatic adsorption between PEDOT:PSS and guanidine was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). DSSC were prepared by connecting the NCS groups of the dye molecule with those of the counter electrode with large surface area. The performances of the resulting DSSC were improved dramatically by the increase of the NCS groups on the counter electrode. It is noteworthy that the performances of the cell were higher than that of the cells prepared by the conventional liquid electrolyte. The highly efficient all solid state DSSC are manufactured with inexpensive and low quality materials, and the practical use is promising.  相似文献

This study was conducted to assess the antibacterial and the antifungal activity of a polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMGH)-based disinfectant and to determine if it could be used as a disinfectant for the treatment of cocoa beans. The activity of PHMGH was tested in vitro for efficacy against five reference strains of pathogenic bacteria and six strains of fungi isolated from cocoa beans. All the strains tested were sensitive to the disinfectant. The MICs reported were between 0.01 and 1.9 mg/ml and equal to the MBC or minimum fungicidal concentration (MFC) regardless of the strains of those microorganisms. The bacteria were more sensitive to PHMGH than were the fungi. Enterobacter cloacae was the most sensitive bacterium with a MIC and MBC of 0.01 mg/ml, whereas the genus Aspergillus was the least susceptible of the microorganisms tested, with a MIC and MFC from 1.0 to 1.9 mg/ml. The time required for the activity of PHMGH varies from 2 min for Enterobacter cloacae to 12 min for Aspergillus tamarii and generally increases with the MBC or the MFC. Through this in vitro study, the PHMGH has been proved to be bactericidal and fungicidal on the strains studied. Hence, it could probably serve as a fungicidal disinfectant for the treatment of cocoa beans after harvesting.  相似文献

In this paper, a force‐based disturbance observer (DOB) and a force control system using the DOB are proposed to obtain dynamic force control under disturbances. A DOB can reduce the effect of disturbances and modeling errors on robots. In a conventional DOB, an acceleration response is fed back to a reference, enabling highly precise position control. In other words, the effect of disturbances is decreased by emphasizing the effect of inertial forces. When a force controller is implemented, however, inertial forces are regarded as disturbances respect to a force response. Because inertial forces increase according to the acceleration, conventional DOBs are not suitable for dynamic force control. In the proposed DOB, a force response is fed back instead of an acceleration response. The effect of inertial forces is thus eliminated, thereby improving the tracking performance of force controllers. The proposed method's validity is verified analytically and experimentally. A position/force hybrid controller and a DOB for the controller are proposed as an extension of the proposed DOB. A bilateral controller is given as an example of the proposed hybrid controller, and its tracking performance is demonstrated experimentally. © 2013 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Estrogen produced by ovarian follicles plays a key role in the central mechanisms controlling reproduction via regulation of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) release by its negative and positive feedback actions in female mammals. It has been well accepted that estrogen receptor α (ERα) mediates both estrogen feedback actions, but precise targets had remained as a mystery for decades. Ever since the discovery of kisspeptin neurons as afferent ERα-expressing neurons to govern GnRH neurons, the mechanisms mediating estrogen feedback are gradually being unraveled. The present article overviews the role of kisspeptin neurons in the arcuate nucleus (ARC), which are considered to drive pulsatile GnRH/gonadotropin release and folliculogenesis, in mediating the estrogen negative feedback action, and the role of kisspeptin neurons located in the anteroventral periventricular nucleus-periventricular nucleus (AVPV-PeN), which are thought to drive GnRH/luteinizing hormone (LH) surge and consequent ovulation, in mediating the estrogen positive feedback action. This implication has been confirmed by the studies showing that estrogen-bound ERα down- and up-regulates kisspeptin gene (Kiss1) expression in the ARC and AVPV-PeN kisspeptin neurons, respectively. The article also provides the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms regulating Kiss1 expression in kisspeptin neurons by estrogen. Further, afferent ERα-expressing neurons that may regulate kisspeptin release are discussed.  相似文献
