A novel algorithm for the dynamic driving/braking force distribution is proposed for electric vehicles (EV) with four in‐wheel motors. In such EVs, the vehicle lateral motion can be controlled by a yaw moment, generated by the torque difference between wheels. This method is known as DYC (Direct Yaw moment Control) in ordinary engine vehicle engineering; however, the torque difference can be generated more directly with in‐wheel motors. One problem of DYC is its instability on slippery roads, such as wet or snowy asphalt. To achieve high stability, the loads of wheels are preferably equal. The load on each wheel can be evaluated as the square root of the sum of squares of driving/braking force and side force. Therefore, the driving/braking forces, or motor torques, should be distributed depending on the side forces of the wheels, to minimize the load imbalance between wheels. The proposed algorithm can solve this optimization problem approximately with little calculation cost, and thus this method can be applied for real‐time calculation within a control period. Approximate solutions obtained with the proposed method are evaluated by comparison with numerical solutions that require much calculation time. We are developing frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) systems with baseband feedback for TES X-ray microcalorimeter arrays for use with the DIOS mission. To meet the requirement of limited cooling capacity at cryogenic temperatures, we developed low-power and FDM-optmized dc-SQUIDs. Tröger's base (TB, 1) and its analogues were synthesized and were subject to the titration experiments to evaluate their ability of supramolecular complexation with C60. Results demonstrate clearly that the fluorene-based TB analogue (2) and the bioctylfluorene-based TB analogue (3) show 1:1 binding with C60 to form the corresponding complexes while TB 1 does not. Titration experiments exhibited that the association constant (Kass) of 3/C60 (48.1 ± 7.9 M ?1) was larger than that of 2/C60 (13.7 ± 1.4 M ?1). The formation of the 1:1 binding complexes 2/C60 and 3/C60 was also confirmed by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Theoretical calculations suggest that 2 and 3 have appropriate cavities to embrace C60. These findings indicate that not only the π/π interaction between the fluorene moieties and the C60 surface but also the CH/π interaction between the octyl groups and the C60 surface serve efficiently in the supramolecular complexation with C60. 相似文献

The oxygen isotopic fractionation between sulfate ion and water is a useful measure of the temperature of geothermal reservoirs. The rate of the oxygen isotopic exchange reaction between sulfate and water in acid to neutral thermal waters of a temperature of 100°C or higher is sufficiently fast to justify that the sulfates are in isotopic equilibrium with the reservoir waters. The isotopic thermometer has been successfully applied to several Japanese geothermal fields. The temperatures measured by this method are in good agreement with silica and alkali-temperatures. Some factors affecting the results as well as the analytical techniques of the oxygen isotopic analyses of sulfates are discussed. 相似文献

Exposure to cosmic radiation in operation of a jet aircraft is considered to be a part of the occupational exposure. Cosmic radiation doses received in aviation are generally evaluated by numerical model simulations. The precision of the model calculation should be verified by measurements. From the viewpoint of radiological protection, neutrons are the most contributing radiation component and have to be precisely measured. Neutron measurements were thus performed in a long-haul flight using a relatively new transportable neutron monitor (WENDI-II) which responds fairly well to the cosmic-ray neutrons. The in-flight measurement was carried out on 5-6 November 2009 on a polar route flight from New York/John F. Kennedy airport to Seoul/Incheon airport. The flying time was ~14 h. The observations obtained as 1 cm ambient dose equivalent were compared with model calculations using a computer program developed by the authors for the calculation of aviation route doses 'JISCARD EX'. Good agreements between the measured and calculated values were observed over the polar route where the geomagnetic cut-off rigidity is the lowest. 相似文献

Neutron imaging by color center formation in LiF crystals was applied to a sensitivity indicator (SI) as a standard samples for neutron radiography. The SI was exposed to a 5 mm pinhole-collimated thermal neutron beam with an LiF crystal and a neutron imaging plate (NIP) for 120 min in the JRR-3M thermal neutron radiography facility. The image in the LiF crystal was read out using a laser confocal microscope. All gaps were clearly observed in images for both the LiF crystal and the NIP. The experimental results showed that LiF crystals have excellent characteristics as neutron imaging detectors in areas such as high spatial resolution. 相似文献

TiO2-polydimethylsiloxane (TiO2-PDMS) composite films are prepared using the sol–gel method from a Ti(OBu)4–benzoylacetone solution containing PDMS. The prepared films are cured by irradiation with ultraviolet (UV) light. Structural changes in the films after UV irradiation are confirmed by UV–vis absorption experiments, which show that an absorption band characteristic of the benzoylacetonate chelate rings disappears. This finding is ascribed to structural changes associated with the dissociation of the chelate rings. The IR spectra of the thin films exhibit a broad absorption band after UV irradiation, indicating that a Ti–O–Ti network forms in the thin film. Contact angles are measured for the TiO2-PDMS thin films, showing wettability conversion from hydrophobic to superhydrophilic states by irradiation with oxygen plasma for 1 s. This phenomenon is explained by XPS experiments which reveal that the number of carbon atoms decreases, whereas the number of oxygen atoms increases on the surface of the TiO2-PDMS composite films. Finally, hydrophobic–superhydrophilic patterns are fabricated based on a patterned TiO2-PDMS composite film. The film displays a rapid change to superhydrophilicity over the whole film surface upon plasma irradiation for 1 s, which means that the wettability patterns are rapidly erasable. 相似文献

Engineering liver tissue constructs with sufficient cell mass for transplantation implies culturing large numbers of hepatocytes in a reduced volume; however, providing sufficient oxygen to dense cell cultures is still not feasible using only conventional culture medium. Liposome-encapsulated hemoglobin (LEH), an oxygen-carrying blood substitute originally designed for short-term perfusion, may be a good candidate as an oxygen carrier to cultured liver cells. In this study, we investigated the feasibility of maintaining long term hepatocyte cultures using LEH. Primary fetal and adult rat liver cells were directly exposed to LEH for 6 to 14 days in static culture or in a perfused flat plate bioreactor. The functions and viability of adult rat hepatocytes exposed to LEH were not adversely affected in static monolayer culture and were even improved in the bioreactor. However, some cytotoxicity of LEH was observed with fetal rat liver cells after 4 days of culture. LEH, though a suitable oxygen carrier for long-term culture of mature hepatocytes, is not suitable in its present form for perfusing fetal hepatocyte cultures in direct contact with the liposomes; either the LEH will have to be made less toxic or a more sophisticated bioreactor that prevents the direct contact between hepatocytes and perfusates will have to be designed if fetal cells are to be used for liver tissue engineering. 相似文献

A rigorous approach for the radiative heat transfer analysis in solar collector glazing is developed. The model allows a more accurate prediction of thermal performance of a solar collector system. The glass material is analysed as a non-gray plane-parallel medium subjected to solar and thermal irradiations in the one-dimensional case using the Radiation Element Method by Ray Emission Model (REM by REM).This method is used to analyse the combined non-gray convective, conductive and radiative heat transfer in glass medium. The boundary surfaces of the glass are specular. The spectral dependence of the relevant radiation properties of glass (i.e. specular reflectivity, refraction angle and absorption coefficient) are taken into consideration. Both collimated and diffuse incident irradiation are applied at the boundary surfaces using the spectral solar model proposed by Bird and Riordan. The optical constants of a commercial ordinary clear glass material have been used. These optical constants (100 values) of real and imaginary parts of the complex refractive index of the glass material cover the range of interest for calculating the solar and thermal radiative heat transfer through the solar collector glass cover. The model allows the calculation of the steady-state heat flux and temperature distribution within the glass layer. The effect of both conduction and radiation in the heat transfer process is examined. It has been shown that the real and imaginary parts of the complex refractive index have a substantial effect on the layer temperature distribution. The computational time for predicting the combined heat transfer in such a system is very long for the non-gray case with 100 values of n and k. Therefore, a simplified non-gray model with 10 values of n and k and two semi-gray models have been proposed for rapid computations. A comparison of the proposed models with the reference non-gray case is presented. The result shows that 10 bandwidths could be used for rapid computation with a very high level of accuracy. 相似文献
