The influence of identical and distinct surface tensions on the coalescence and mixing of droplets after a direct collision on a wettability gradient surface (made from a self-assembled monolayer, SAM technique) was investigated. The results indicate that their mixing is driven sequentially by interior convection and diffusion; the convection endures less than 100 ms but dominates more than 60 % of the mixing. If the stationary droplet has a large surface tension (73.28 mN × m?1), whether the moving droplet has a large surface tension (73.28 mN × m?1) or a small surface tension (38.63 mN × m?1), the mushroom-shaped mixing pattern is generated within the coalesced droplet that enhances the convective mixing and also significantly enlarges the interface for mass diffusion. The mixing index of these two cases was greater than 0.8 at 120 s after the collision. For the cases in which the stationary droplet with a small surface tension collided by the moving droplet with a large surface tension, a mixing pattern with a round-head shape developed, which was insufficient to benefit the mixing. When the stationary and moving droplets both had small surface tension, the moving droplet was unable to merge with stationary droplet and had poor mixing quality due to the small surface Gibbs energy of both stationary and moving droplets. For the collision of droplets of identical surface tension, the surface tension affects the coalescence behavior; for the collision of droplets with distinct surface tension, the coalescence behavior and mixing quality depend on the colliding arrangement of stationary and moving droplets. 相似文献

There are many methods of healing wounds. Among these, light therapy is reported to be beneficial, as beams assist the human body in treating, sterilizing, and regenerating cells. Both Laser and LED irradiation with specific wavelengths induce proliferation of fibroblasts depending on the wound area or wavelength and are effective in wound healing. This study used 8-week-old 250–300 g Male Sprague–Dawley Rats (ILAR Code: NTacSam:SD). The experiment was carried out for the non-irradiation group and the Red–Green–Blue LEDs irradiation groups (n of each group = 5). The experiment animals were relieved for 24 h after wounds had been excised and then the Red–Green–Blue LEDs irradiation groups were given irradiation therapy over 9 days 1 h per day. Immunohistochemical staining was conducted for cytokeratin in order to precisely measure the defect size. Also, Masson’s trichrome staining was conducted for comparison of collagen between the Red–Green–Blue LEDs irradiation groups and the non-irradiation group. Animals treated with Blue LEDs irradiation (p < 0.05), Green LEDs irradiation (p < 0.05), and Red LEDs irradiation (N.S.) healed at a faster rate than non-irradiated group. The LEDs irradiated groups also had more collagen, according to Masson’s trichrome staining for collagen analysis. The Red–Green–Blue LEDs irradiation had a beneficial effect on wound healing and could probably replace low power laser treatment. 相似文献

There are a lot of studies on chronic stress assessment applying psychology instruments or hormones analysis. However, there are only few studies using electroencephalogram (EEG), which is a non-invasive method providing objective inspection on brain functioning. In this paper, we analyzed overall complexity and spectrum power of certain EEG bands (theta, alpha and beta) collected from two groups of human subjects—high stress versus moderate stress at prefrontal sites (Fp1, Fp2 and Fpz). The results showed that the differences of nonlinear features (C0, LZC, D2, L1 and RE) and linear features (power and alpha asymmetry score) between two groups are significant. C0, LZC and D2 significantly increased in stress group at Fp1 and Fp2, while L1 and RE significantly decreased. And those with chronic stress have higher left prefrontal power. Finally, we suggest that it may be effective to discriminate the high-stress people from moderate-stress people by EEG. 相似文献

文章以SVM作为语音识别核心算法,以TMS320C6713DSK作为硬件平台,选择相应的语音识别算法,利用SVM和DSP各自的优势,设计了一款非特定人、小词汇量的连续实时语音识别系统;并在Matlab平台上进行了实验仿真,然后在TMS320C6713DSK开发板上进行论证;实际系统前端采用MFCC特征参数、并用遗传算法与矢量量化混合算法对其进行聚类得到优化码本,所采用种群数为80,码本长度为16,然后将所得码本作为SVM模式训练和识别算法的输入;结果表明,该系统在满足系统实时性的同时也提高了其正识率,具有一定的实用性。 相似文献

The formal specification of design patterns is central to pattern research and is the foundation of solving various pattern-related problems.In this paper,we propose a metamodeling approach for pattern specification,in which a pattern is modeled as a meta-level class and its participants are meta-level references.Instead of defining a new metamodel,we reuse the Unified Modeling Language(UML)metamodel and incorporate the concepts of Variable and Set into our approach,which are unavailable in the UML but essential for pattern specification.Our approach provides straightforward solutions for pattern-related problems,such as pattern instantiation,evolution,and implementation.By integrating the solutions into a single framework,we can construct a pattern management system,in which patterns can be instantiated,evolved,and implemented in a correct and manageable way. 相似文献

Underwater gliders are efficient mobile sensor platforms that can be deployed for months at a time, traveling thousands of kilometers. Here, we describe our development of a coastal 200 m deep underwater glider, which can serve as an ocean observatory platform operating in the East China Sea. Our glider is developed based on dynamic model analysis: steady flight equilibrium analysis gives the varied range of moving mass location for pitch control and the varied vehicle volume for buoyancy control; a stability analysis is made to discuss the relationship between the stability of glider motion and the location of glider wings and rudder by root locus investigation of glider longitudinal- and lateral-directional dynamics, respectively. There is a tradeoff between glider motion stability and control authority according to the specific glider mission requirements. The theoretical analysis provides guidelines for vehicle design, based on which we present the development progress of the Zhejiang University (ZJU) glider. The mechanical, electrical, and software design of the glider is discussed in detail. The performances of glider key functional modules are validated by pressure tests individually; preliminary pool trials of the ZJU glider are also introduced, indicating that our glider functions well in water and can serve as a sensor platform for ocean sampling. 相似文献
