We propose a full Eulerian incompressible solid-fluid interaction scheme capable of achieving high parallel efficiency and easily generating meshes for complex solid geometries. While good scalability of a full Eulerian solid-fluid interaction formulation has been reported by Sugiyama et al, their analysis was carried out using uniform Cartesian mesh and an artificial compressibility method. Typically, it is more challenging to achieve good scalability for hierarchical Cartesian meshes and a fully incompressible formulation. In addition, the conventional full Eulerian methods require a large computational cost to resolve complex solid geometries due to the usage of uniform Cartesian meshes. In an attempt to overcome the aforementioned issues, we employ the building-cube method, where the computational domain is divided into cubic regions called cubes. Each cube is divided at equal intervals, the same number of cubes is assigned to each core, and the spatial loop processing is executed for each cube. The numerical method is verified by computing five numerical examples. In the weak scaling test, the parallel efficiency at 32768 cores with 32 cores as a reference is 93.6%. In the strong scaling test, the parallel efficiency at 32768 cores with 128 cores as a reference is 70.2%.  相似文献

Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) provides strong therapeutic benefits for early gastrointestinal cancer as a minimally invasive treatment. However, there is currently no reliable treatment to prevent scar contracture resulting from ESD which may lead to cicatricial stricture. Herein, a multifunctional colloidal wound dressing to promote tissue regeneration after ESD is demonstrated. This sprayable wound dressing, composed of hydrophobized microparticles, exhibits the multifunctionality necessary for wound healing including tissue adhesiveness, blood coagulation, re‐epithelialization, angiogenesis, and controlled inflammation based on hydrophobic interaction with biological systems. An in vivo feasibility study using swine gastric ESD models reveals that this colloidal wound dressing suppresses fibrosis and accelerates wound healing. Multifunctional colloidal and sprayable wound dressings have an enormous therapeutic potential for use in a wide range of biomedical applications including accelerated wound healing after ESD, prevention of perforation, and the treatment of inflammatory diseases.  相似文献

Oxygen-containing carbon materials have been studied extensively because of their excellent dispersibility, absorptivity, separability, and supportability of catalysts. However, structural control by existing top-down methods is almost impossible. Our group has demonstrated that phloroglucinol (PG, 1,3,5-trihydroxybenzene) can be a promising raw material to synthesize structurally controlled oxygen-containing carbon materials. In this study, in addition to PG, hexahydroxybenzene (HHB), which has more oxygen and high symmetry, was used as the raw material, and a Lewis acid catalyst, tris (pentafluorophenyl) borane (TPB), was used to enhance the structural control rate and the removability of catalysts from the carbonized samples. The solubility of heat-treated HHB was lower than that of heat-treated PG, but the oxygen content of heat-treated HHB was higher than that of heat-treated PG even at 673 K. By adding TPB to PG, dibenzofuran-like structures formed, and the structural control rate increased up to 93.6%. Besides, the content of fluorine in the catalyst was reduced to 0%, indicating that TPB can be a promising recyclable catalyst to promote the structural control rate of carbonized PG.

We have developed infrared sensors using poly‐Si thin‐film transistors (TFTs) for proximity sensors integrated in smartphone displays. Initially, we evaluate the infrared sensitivities of the poly‐Si TFTs, and it is found that a pin‐type TFT is suitable for the infrared sensors. Next, we propose three types of the infrared sensors. First, an analog current detection‐type sensor has a simple structure, and it is found that it can detect presence of a hand. Second, a lock‐in detection‐type sensor has tolerance against ambient light, and it is found that it can detect a target signal under noise signals. Third, a frequency detection‐type sensor has an advantage that only a digital circuit is necessary for detection, and it is found that it can detect the infrared intensity because the oscillation frequency increases monotonically with the intensity. We can utilize these infrared sensors on demand.  相似文献

The electrification, agglomeration, and levitation of particles in a strong electric field were analyzed experimentally and theoretically. Particle layers of glass, alumina, and ferrite were formed on a plate electrode and an external voltage was applied. Microscopic observations of the agglomerates levitated from the particle layers revealed that the number of primary particles constituting an agglomerate is affected by particle diameter and electrical resistance, but not by the applied electric field. The electric field distributions in the system were calculated by considering the charges and geometries of the agglomerates formed on the particle layers. The charges of the agglomerates were obtained experimentally. All forces acting on the agglomerates (i.e., gravitational forces, Coulomb forces, interaction forces between polarized particles, image forces, and gradient forces) were analyzed under different conditions, including various electric field distributions and charges of agglomerates. Furthermore, the critical conditions for the levitation of the agglomerates were evaluated using a force balance.  相似文献

Small clusters of vacancies were introduced in a crystal of 4000 atoms at randomly selected positions in Ni. Computer simulations were carried out with the isotropic potential of embedded atom method (EAM) (M.S. Daw and M.I. Baskes, Phys. Rev. B 29 (1984) 6443) at 1200, 1400, 1500, 1600 and 1700 K. After MD simulation, the results were output in an interval of 0.2 ps for 40–600 ps to observe the structural relaxation with AVS. In the present work, forty single vacancies were observed to cluster at 1700 K after MD run for 100 ps whereas four single vacancies were not observed for 600 ps. Further MD run is needed for vacancies to agglomerate. Triangular tri-vacancy (3v) also grew to a larger cluster from two tri-vacancies which were initially positioned closer than the other 3v. Four clusters of triangular 15-vacancy were introduced in a crystal. The clusters at first relaxed stacking fault tetrahedron (15v-sft). To change the structure of clusters played an important role for the direction to agglomerate. At low temperature agglomeration did not occur during MD calculation.  相似文献

β-Casomorphin-7 (BCM) is a degradation product of β-casein, a milk component, and has been suggested to affect the immune system. However, its effect on mucosal immunity, especially anti-tumor immunity, in cancer-bearing individuals is not clear. We investigated the effects of BCM on lymphocytes using an in vitro system comprising mouse splenocytes, a mouse colorectal carcinogenesis model, and a mouse orthotopic colorectal cancer model. Treatment of mouse splenocytes with BCM in vitro reduced numbers of cluster of differentiation (CD) 20+ B cells, CD4+ T cells, and regulatory T cells (Tregs), and increased CD8+ T cells. Administration of BCM and the CD10 inhibitor thiorphan (TOP) to mice resulted in similar alterations in the lymphocyte subsets in the spleen and intestinal mucosa. BCM was degraded in a concentration- and time-dependent manner by the neutral endopeptidase CD10, and the formed BCM degradation product did not affect the lymphocyte counts. Furthermore, degradation was completely suppressed by TOP. In the azoxymethane mouse colorectal carcinogenesis model, the incidence of aberrant crypt foci, adenoma, and adenocarcinoma was reduced by co-treatment with BCM and TOP. Furthermore, when CT26 mouse colon cancer cells were inoculated into the cecum of syngeneic BALB/c mice and concurrently treated with BCM and TOP, infiltration of CD8+ T cells was promoted, and tumor growth and liver metastasis were suppressed. These results suggest that by suppressing the BCM degradation system, the anti-tumor effect of BCM is enhanced and it can suppress the development and progression of colorectal cancer.  相似文献

We describe 'frame shuffling', a novel method for preparing artificial protein libraries. With this method, a Y-family DNA polymerase known to introduce frame shift mutations at high rates is utilized to scramble the reading frames of a parental gene. The resultant progeny produce mutant proteins having segmental sequence changes. Such frame-shuffled mutant proteins exhibit physicochemical properties that differ from those of proteins obtained using conventional mutagenesis.  相似文献
