The non-water-soluble fraction of Carica papaya latex (CPL) constitutes a waste material from papain production; very little information exists regarding its chemical composition.
The non-water-soluble fraction of CPL was fractionated by liquid chromatography into neutral lipids, glycolipids and phospholipids.
The most abundant compounds were found to be the polar lipids, accounting for 79.2% (w/w) of the total extractible matter,
while the total amount of neutral lipids was only around 20%. It was composed of free fatty acids, sterols and triterpenic
alcohols, but no glycerides were detected. A high content of saturated fatty acids was measured; these saturated fatty acids
were represented by very long chains with C24:0, C26:0 and C28:0 accounting for 6.3, 11.0 and 6.3%, respectively, in the total
extractible matter and 7.3, 9.0 and 3.9% in the FFA fraction. The monounsaturated fatty acids were about 23–25% in both samples,
with oleic acid (C18:1) being the most abundant. The polyunsaturated fatty acids that were 25.1% in the total matter and 21.6%
in the FFA fraction were mainly represented by linoleic acid (C18:2n-6). Finally, a very interesting characteristic of the
FA composition of this latex concerns the presence of odd-numbered fatty acids in significant amounts (around 22% in the total

In this paper we study the proof theory of the first constructive version of hybrid logic called Intuitionistic Hybrid Logic (IHL) in order to prove its decidability. In this perspective we propose a sequent-style natural deduction system and then the first sequent calculus for this logic. We prove its main properties like soundness, completeness and also the cut-elimination property. The objective of this study was to analyze the efficiency of silver(Ag)-doped carbon aerogels for the removal of bromide (Br(-)) and iodide (I(-)) from drinking waters. Textural characterization of Ag-doped aerogels showed that an increase in the Ag dose added during the preparation process produced: (i) a reduction in the surface area (S(BET)) and (ii) an increase in mesopore (V(2)) and macropore (V(3)) volumes. Chemical characterization of the materials revealed an acidic surface (pH of point of zero charge, pH(PZC)=4.5, O(surface)=20%). The oxidation state of Ag was +1 and the surface concentration of this element ranged from 4% to 10%. The adsorption capacity (X(m)) and affinity of adsorbent (BX(m)) increased with a reduction in the radius of the halogenide. Furthermore, an increase in the adsorption capacity was observed with higher Ag concentrations on the aerogel surface. The high adsorption capacity of the aerogel may be due to the presence of Ag(I) on its surface, with the formation of the corresponding Ag halides. Our observations indicate that the halogenides adsorption on commercial activated carbon (Sorbo-Norit) is much lower than that of the Ag-doped carbon aerogels. The presence of chloride and natural organic matter (NOM) in the medium reduced the adsorption capacity of Br(-) and I(-) on Ag carbon aerogels. 相似文献

Cognitive radio (CR) with spectrum‐sharing feature is a promising technique to address the spectrum under‐utilization problem in dynamically changing environments. In this paper, the achievable capacity gain of spectrum‐sharing systems over dynamic fading environments is studied. To perform a general analysis, a theoretical fading model called hyper‐fading model that is suitable to the dynamic nature of CR channel is proposed. Closed‐form expressions of probability density function (PDF) and cumulative density function (CDF) of the signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) for secondary users (SUs) in spectrum‐sharing systems are derived. In addition, the capacity gains achievable with spectrum‐sharing systems in high and low power regions are obtained. The effects of different fading figures, average fading powers, interference temperatures, peak powers of secondary transmitters, and numbers of SUs on the achievable capacity are investigated. The analytical and simulation results show that the fading figure of the channel between SUs and primary base‐station (PBS), which describes the diversity of the channel, does not contribute significantly to the system performance gain. GaInAsSb/GaAlAsSb/GaSb distributed-feedback (DFB) laser diodes based on a type I active region were fabricated by molecular beam epitaxy at the Centre d'Electronique et de Micro-Optoélectronique de Montpellier (CEM2). The DFB processing was done by Nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies GmbH. The devices work in the continuous-wave regime above room temperature around an emission wavelength of 2.3 microm with a side-mode suppression ratio greater than 25 dB and as great as 10 mW of output power. The laser devices are fully characterized in terms of optical and electrical properties. Their tuning properties made them adaptable to tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy because they exhibit more than 220 GHz of continuous tuning by temperature or current. The direct absorption of CH4 is demonstrated to be possible with high spectral selectivity. 相似文献

This paper deals with digital base band signal processing algorithms, which are seen as enabling technologies for software-enabled radios, that are intended for the correction of the analog front end. In particular, this paper focuses on the design, optimization and testability of predistortion functions suitable for the linearization of narrowband and wideband transmitters developed with a hybrid DSP/FPGA platform. To select the best algorithm for the identification of the predistortion function, singular value decomposition, recursive least squares (RLS), and QR-RLS algorithms are implemented on the same digital signal processor; and, the computation complexity, time, accuracy and the required resources are studied. The hardware implementation of the predistortion function is then carefully performed, in order to meet the real time execution requirements. 相似文献

BACKGROUND/AIM: The feasibility and safety of the laparoscopic myotomy having been previously demonstrated, the purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate its effectiveness. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Eight patients with primary esophageal achalasia underwent a laparoscopic modified Heller's myotomy with a posterior fundoplication. Early post-operative course has been uneventful in all cases. Clinical, endoscopic, and manometric prospective evaluations were performed with a median follow-up of 21 months (range 4-40). RESULTS: Excellent or good clinical results were present in all cases. Endoscopic studies were normal in all cases and the post-operative esophageal manometry (n = 7) showed that the median pressure of the lower esophageal sphincter decreased to 8.5 mmHg (range 3-9) which was significant compared to the median pre-operative value of 35 mmHg (p < 0.01). CONCLUSION: Though this experience is limited, these mean-term results suggest that the laparoscopic myotomy is effective to treat achalasia. It combines the efficacy of surgery and the minimally invasive aspect of dilatations. Thus, a prospective controlled trial comparing laparoscopic myotomy and dilatations is needed. 相似文献
