Miscible gas injection is an approved profitable process that could significantly enhance oil recovery from different types of reservoirs while the major factor affecting its efficiency would be the minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) value. A recent experimental technique, known as vanishing interfacial tension (VIT), can estimate the MMP for gas–oil mixtures by measuring interfacial tension values and extrapolating them to zero at a sequence of pressures. Compositional simulation models are also useful in MMP determination by tuning an equation of state to compute the realistic phase behavior of reservoir fluid. In this paper, the capability and quality of MMP prediction via different methods such as laboratory slim tube tests, VIT technique, compositional simulation, and various empirical correlations were examined using a light oil sample taken from an Iranian carbonate reservoir, employing two pure gases of CO2 and N2 as the injectants. The accuracy and validation of the mentioned methods were then confirmed successfully by obtaining negligible overall absolute deviation percentages (AD%) compared with the conducted slim tube tests results.  相似文献

A new electrochemical sensor for the determination of norepinephrine (NE), acetaminophen (AC) and tryptophan (TRP) is described. The sensor is based on carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with 5-mino-3′,4′-dimethyl-biphenyl-2-ol (5ADB) and takes the advantages of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which makes the modified electrode highly sensitive for the electrochemical detection of these compounds. Under the optimum pH of 7.0, the oxidation of NE occurs at a potential about 170 mV less positive than that of the unmodified CPE. Also, square wave voltammetry (SWV) was used for the simultaneous determination of NE, AC and TRP at the modified electrode.  相似文献

This paper investigates the performance of a hydrogen refueling system that consists of a polymer electrolyte membrane electrolyzer integrated with photovoltaic arrays, and an electrochemical compressor to increase the hydrogen pressure. The energetic and exergetic performance of the hydrogen refueling station is analyzed at different working conditions. The exergy cost of hydrogen production is studied in three different case scenarios; that consist of i) off-grid station with the photovoltaic system and a battery bank to supply the required electric power, ii) on-grid station but the required power is supplied by the electric grid only when solar energy is not available and iii) on-grid station without energy storage. The efficiency of the station significantly increases when the electric grid empowers the system. The maximum energy and exergy efficiencies of the photovoltaic system at solar irradiation of 850 W m-2 are 13.57% and 14.51%, respectively. The exergy cost of hydrogen production in the on-grid station with energy storage is almost 30% higher than the off-grid station. Moreover, the exergy cost of hydrogen in the on-grid station without energy storage is almost 4 times higher than the off-grid station and the energy and exergy efficiencies are considerably higher.  相似文献

Currently, the use of ‘green’ synthesised nanoparticles with environmentally friendly properties is considered a novel therapeutic approach in medicine. Here, the authors evaluated gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) conjugated with Tragopogon dubius leaf extract and their antibacterial activity in vitro and in vivo. Colour changes from yellow to dark brown and a peak at 560 nm on ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy confirmed the formation of nanoparticles. Additionally, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analyses were performed to determine particle sizes and functional groups involved in gold reduction. Moreover, using standard micro‐dilution and disc‐diffusion assays against Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus, the antimicrobial properties of synthesised AuNPs were investigated. To confirm antibacterial activity, synthesised AuNPs were applied in a rat model on burn wounds infected with S. aureus, and the nanoparticles were as effective as tetracycline in bacterial reduction and wound healing. The current work focuses on the development of a sensitive and selective electrochemical device based on a graphite screen printed electrode modified with Dy_2(WO_4)_3 nanoparticles(DWO/SPE) for the analysis of epinephrine in samples also containing acetylcholine. The study proves that the sensor has excellent electron-mediating behavior in the oxidation of epinephrine in a 0.1 mol/L phosphate buffer solution(PBS)(pH 7.0). The application of the DWO/SPE in differential pulse voltammetry(DPV) is found to lead to distinct response for the oxidation of epinephrine and acetylcholine, with the potentials of the epinephrine and acetylcholine peaks(△E_p) to be 550 mV apart. The detection limits of the method for epinephrine and acetylcholine are 0.5 and 0.7 μmol/L(S/N = 3) and the responses are found to be linear in the concentration ranges of 1.0-900.0 μmol/L and 1.0-1200.0 μmol/L in a PBS buffer(pH = 7.0)respectively. The modified electrode was used for the detection of epinephrine and acetylcholine in real samples and found to produce satisfactory results. These results can be a proof that Dy_2(WO_4)_3 nanoparticles can find promising applications in electrochemical sensors to be used for the analysis of(bio)chemical species.  相似文献

Segmentation is one of the most important pre-processing steps toward pattern recognition and image understanding. It is often used to partition an image into separate regions, which ideally correspond to different real-world objects. In this paper, novel color image segmentation is proposed and implemented using fuzzy inference system in optimized color space. This system, which is designed by neuro-adaptive learning technique, applies a sample image as an input and can reveal the likelihood of being a special color for each pixel through the image. The intensity of each pixel shows this likelihood in the gray-level output image. After choosing threshold value, a binary image is obtained, which can be applied as a mask to segment desired color in input image. Besides using fuzzy systems, optimizing color space for segmentation is another feature of proposed method. This optimizing is implemented by genetic algorithms and influence on system accuracy. Two applications of developed method are discussed, and still it could be applicable in wide range of color image segmentation or object detection purposes.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with decentralized controller design for large-scale interconnected systems of pseudo-hierarchical structure. Given such a system, one can use existing techniques to design a decentralized controller for the reference hierarchical model, obtained by eliminating certain weak interconnections of the original system. Although this indirect controller design is appealing as far as the computational complexity is concerned, it does not necessarily result in satisfactory performance for the original pseudo-hierarchical system. An LQ cost function is defined in order to evaluate the performance discrepancy between the pseudo-hierarchical system and its reference hierarchical model under the designed decentralized controller. A discrete Lyapunov equation is then solved to compute this performance index. However, due to the large-scale nature of the system, this equation cannot be handled efficiently in many real-world systems. Thus, attaining an upper bound on this cost function can be more desirable than finding its exact value, in practice. For this purpose, a novel technique is proposed which only requires solving a simple LMI optimization problem with three variables. The problem is then reduced to a scalar optimization problem, for which an explicit solution is provided. It is also shown that when the original model is exactly hierarchical, then the upper bounds obtained from the LMI and scalar optimization problems will both be equal to zero.  相似文献

In the present study, a modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) containing multi-wall carbon nanotubes and an indenedione derivative(IMWCNT?CPE) was constructed and was successfully used for dopamine(DA) electrocatalytic oxidation and simultaneous determination of DA and uric acid (UA). Cyclic voltammograms of the IMWCNT?CPE show a pair of well-defined and reversible redox. The obtained results indicate that the peak potential of DA oxidation at IMWCNT?CPE shifted by about 65 and 185 mV toward the negative values compared with that at a MWCNT and indenedione modified CPE, respectively. The electron transfer coefficient, α, and the heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant, k′, for the oxidation of DA at IMWCNT?CPE were calculated 0.4 ± 0.01 and (1.13 ± 0.03) × 10? 3 cm s? 1, respectively. Furthermore, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) exhibits two linear dynamic ranges of 1.9–79.4 μM, and 79.4–714.3 μM and a detection limit of 0.52 μM for DA determination. Then IMWCNT?CPE was applied to the simultaneous determination of DA and UA with DPV. Finally, the activity of the modified electrode was also investigated for determination of DA and UA in real samples, such as injection solution of DA and urine, with satisfactory results.  相似文献
