The zinc(II) triflate‐catalyzed synthesis of highly functionalized pyrroles is described. The sequence involves the preliminary preparation of α‐aminohydrazones by Michael addition of primary amines to 1,2‐diaza‐1,3‐dienes. The treatment of these intermediates with dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates produces α‐(N‐enamino)‐hydrazones that are converted into the corresponding pyrroles. The substituents on the carbon in position four of 1,2‐diaza‐1,3‐dienes drive the regioselectivity of the ring closure process. Starting from 4‐aminocarbonyl‐1,2‐diaza‐1,3‐dienes only dialkyl 1‐substituted 5‐aminocarbonyl‐1H‐pyrrole‐2,3‐dicarboxylates are achieved by Lewis acid‐catalyzed ring closure. A screening of several Lewis/Brønsted acid catalysts is performed. Zinc(II) triflate is the most efficient catalyst. Under similar reaction conditions, employing 4‐alkoxycarbonyl‐1,2‐diaza‐1,3‐dienes, only 4‐hydroxy‐1H‐pyrrole‐2,3‐dicarboxylates are synthesized. These latter reactions can be accomplished regioselectively also in one pot. Using 4‐aminocarbonyl‐1,2‐diaza‐1,3‐dienes, diamines and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates the sequence provides the corresponding α,ω‐di(N‐pyrrolyl)alkanes.  相似文献

Magnetic properties in perovskite titanates ATiO3-δ (A = Ca, Sr, Ba) were investigated before and after arc melting. Crystal structure analysis was conducted by powder synchrotron X-ray diffraction with Rietveld refinements. Quantitative chemical element analysis was carried out by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Magnetic measurements were conducted by vibrating sample magnetometer and X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). The magnetic properties are found to be affected by impurities of 3d elements such as Fe, Co, and Ni. Depending on the composition and crystal structure, the occupation of the magnetic ions in perovskite titanates is selectively varied, which is interpreted to be the origin of the different magnetic behaviors in arc-melted perovskite titanates ATiO3-δ (A = Ca, Sr, Ba). In addition, both formation of oxygen vacancies and the reduction of Ti4+ to Ti3+ during arc-melting also play a role as proven by XMCD. Nevertheless, preferential site occupation of magnetic impurities is dominant in the magnetic properties of arc-melted perovskite ATiO3-δ (A = Ca, Sr, Ba).  相似文献

Using time-resolved reflectivity measurements on unaligned and aligned bundled single-wall carbon nanotubes with a pump energy of 1.55 eV, quasi-resonant with the second Van Hove singularity of semiconducting tubes, a positive sign of the transient reflectivity is detected in unaligned nanotubes. In contrast a negative sign is detected in aligned nanotubes. This discovery addresses a long-standing question showing that in unaligned nanotubes the stronger intertube interactions favor the formation of short-lived free charge carriers in semiconducting tubes. A detailed analysis of the transient reflectivity spectral response shows that the free carriers in the photo-excited state of semiconducting tubes move towards metallic tubes in about 400 fs.  相似文献

Contact kairomones from the host mud dauber wasp Trypoxylon politum Say (Hymenoptera: Crabronidae) that mediate behavioral responses of its ectoparasitoid Melittobia digitata Dahms (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) were investigated. Chemical residues from host by-products, the cocoon, and the meconium, induced arrestment behavior of macropterous female parasitoids, while those from the host stage attacked, i.e., the prepupa, did not. Melittobia digitata response to polar and apolar extracts of host by-products indicated kairomone(s) solubility mainly in hexane. GC and GC/MS analysis of cocoon and meconium apolar extracts revealed a mixture of linear carboxylic acids from C6 to C18, and both extracts contained almost identical compounds. When a reconstructed blend of host by-product carboxylic acids was tested, M. digitata females showed only a weak response, thus suggesting that other unidentified compounds present in small quantities also may be involved. Melittobia digitata’s response to contact kairomones was innate and not affected by previous host exposure experience. Our results provide evidence of contact kairomone exploitation in the genus Melittobia. The ecological significance of these findings in the host selection process of M. digitata is discussed.  相似文献

Polymer-based solar cells (PSC) represent a promising technology in the field of photovoltaics, although they still suffer from poor environmental stability. Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) is one of the most commonly employed electron-donor materials for the preparation of the photo-active layer of PSC and it is known to undergo degradation when exposed to light. In this work, the degradation of P3HT was studied by irradiating polymer films by means of simulated sunlight. The results of this study highlighted a remarkable instability of P3HT. Substantial modifications of the infrared as well as of the UV–Vis spectra of the polymer were reported and a degradation pathway was suggested, in agreement with recent literature results. In order to stabilize the structure, two additives were evaluated namely a standard Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer (HALS) and Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT). The addition of MWCNT appeared to significantly reduce the rate of degradation.  相似文献

Egg parasitoids are able to find their hosts by exploiting their chemical footprints as host location cues. In nature, the apolar epicuticular wax layer of plants that consists of several classes of hydrocarbons serves as the substrate that retains these contact kairomones. However, experiments on chemical footprints generally have used filter paper as substrate to study insect behavior. Here, we explored the ability of Trissolcus basalis (Scelionidae) females to discriminate between footprint cues left by male and female Nezara viridula (Pentatomidae) on leaves of their host plant Brassica oleracea (broccoli). Furthermore, we analyzed the chemical composition of the outermost wax layer of broccoli leaves to evaluate the degree of overlap in insect and plant cuticular hydrocarbons that could lead to masking effects in the detection of footprint cues. Our results showed that B. oleracea epicuticular wax retains the chemical footprints of adult bugs and allows T. basalis females to differentiate hosts of different sex. Traces of female bugs elicited more extensive searching behavior in egg parasitoids than traces of males. The application of n-nonadecane, a compound specific to male N. viridula, on the tarsi of female bugs prevented parasitoid females from distinguishing between host male and host female footprints. Analyses of B. oleracea leaves revealed that epicuticular waxes were mainly composed of linear alkanes, ketones, and secondary alcohols. Alkanes were dominated by n-nonacosane (nC29) and n-hentriacontane (nC31), while male-specific n-nonadecane (nC19) was absent. The ecological significance of these results for parasitoid host location behavior is discussed.  相似文献

Si/Al MCM-41 type mesoporous compounds, as such or containing small amounts of metal (Ni, Rh or Pt), were investigated in the synthesis of clean diesel fuels by oligomerisation of orphan olefin streams. Very good catalytic performances were obtained with C4 and C5 olefins, while almost no conversion occurred with ethylene. The activity increased with increasing reaction pressure, temperature and contact time, while high Si/Al ratios had a negative effect on both activity and catalyst stability. The presence of small amount of metal inside the mesoporous structure did not significantly modify the catalytic activity, although specific effects were detected for each element. Since the evaluation of the cetane number by H-NMR gave rise to values about 20% lower than the actual value, a new and more complex algorithm is proposed to calculate the cetane number. Using the proposed algorithm, a good correlation index was found between calculated and motor values for pure compounds. Further study is necessary to move from pure compounds to experimental mixtures.  相似文献

αvβ6 Integrin is an epithelial transmembrane protein that recognizes latency-associated peptide (LAP) and primarily activates transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β). It is overexpressed in carcinomas (most notably, pancreatic) and other conditions associated with αvβ6 integrin-dependent TGF-β dysregulation, such as fibrosis. We have designed a trimeric Ga-68-labeled TRAP conjugate of the αvβ6-specific cyclic pentapeptide SDM17 (cyclo[RGD-Chg-E]-CONH2) to enhance αvβ6 integrin affinity as well as target-specific in-vivo uptake. Ga-68-TRAP(SDM17)3 showed a 28-fold higher αvβ6 affinity than the corresponding monomer Ga-68-NOTA-SDM17 (IC50 of 0.26 vs. 7.4 nM, respectively), a 13-fold higher IC50-based selectivity over the related integrin αvβ8 (factors of 662 vs. 49), and a threefold higher tumor uptake (2.1 vs. 0.66 %ID/g) in biodistribution experiments with H2009 tumor-bearing SCID mice. The remarkably high tumor/organ ratios (tumor-to-blood 11.2; -to-liver 8.7; -to-pancreas 29.7) enabled high-contrast tumor delineation in PET images. We conclude that Ga-68-TRAP(SDM17)3 holds promise for improved clinical PET diagnostics of carcinomas and fibrosis.  相似文献

Genomic instability is generally considered as a hallmark of tumorigenesis and a prerequisite condition for malignant transformation. Aluminium salts are suspected environmental carcinogens that transform mammary epithelial cells in vitro through unknown mechanisms. We report here that long-term culture in the presence of aluminium chloride (AlCl3) enables HC11 normal mouse mammary epithelial cells to form tumours and metastases when injected into the syngeneic and immunocompetent BALB/cByJ strain. We demonstrate that AlCl3 rapidly increases chromosomal structural abnormalities in mammary epithelial cells, while we failed to detect direct modulation of specific mRNA pathways. Our observations provide evidence that clastogenic activity—a well-recognized inducer of genomic instability—might account in part for the transforming abilities of aluminium in mammary epithelial cells.  相似文献

Herein, we have investigated retinal cell-death pathways in response to the retina toxin sodium iodate (NaIO3) both in vivo and in vitro. C57/BL6 mice were treated with a single intravenous injection of NaIO3 (35 mg/kg). Morphological changes in the retina post NaIO3 injection in comparison to untreated controls were assessed using electron microscopy. Cell death was determined by TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling (TUNEL) staining. The activation of caspases and calpain was measured using immunohistochemistry. Additionally, cytotoxicity and apoptosis in retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells, primary retinal cells, and the cone photoreceptor (PRC) cell line 661W were assessed in vitro after NaIO3 treatment using the ApoToxGlo™ assay. The 7-AAD/Annexin-V staining was performed and necrostatin (Nec-1) was administered to the NaIO3-treated cells to confirm the results. In vivo, degenerating RPE cells displayed a rounded shape and retracted microvilli, whereas PRCs featured apoptotic nuclei. Caspase and calpain activity was significantly upregulated in retinal sections and protein samples from NaIO3-treated animals. In vitro, NaIO3 induced necrosis in RPE cells and apoptosis in PRCs. Furthermore, Nec-1 significantly decreased NaIO3-induced RPE cell death, but had no rescue effect on treated PRCs. In summary, several different cell-death pathways are activated in retinal cells as a result of NaIO3.  相似文献
