A new ZVS bidirectional DC-DC converter for fuel cell and battery application

This paper presents a new zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) bidirectional dc-dc converter. Compared to the traditional full and half bridge bidirectional dc-dc converters for the similar applications, the new topology has the advantages of simple circuit topology with no total device rating (TDR) penalty, soft-switching implementation without additional devices, high efficiency and simple control. These advantages make the new converter promising for medium and high power applications especially for auxiliary power supply in fuel cell vehicles and power generation where the high power density, low cost, lightweight and high reliability power converters are required. The operating principle, theoretical analysis, and design guidelines are provided in this paper. The simulation and the experimental verifications are also presented.     

生活垃圾焚烧发电项目中飞灰的资源化处理及方式

随着生活垃圾焚烧发电项目的大量建设,所产生的飞灰量与日俱增。飞灰中含有大量的可再利用重金属等资源,主要采用热分离技术、湿法冶金、电化学过程三种飞灰处理方式。本文阐述了关于飞灰的利用及其资源化处理方式,并分析各处理方式的条件及优点。对各资源化处理方式进行对比分析,提出技术协同作用等建议,以期为环境保护、经济与社会效益提供相应的依据。     

User privacy and modern mobile services: are they on the same path?

Perhaps, the most important parameter for any mobile application or service is the way it is delivered and experienced by the end-users, who usually, in due course, decide to keep it on their software portfolio or not. Most would agree that security and privacy have both a crucial role to play toward this goal. In this context, the current paper revolves around a key question: Do modern mobile applications respect the privacy of the end-user? The focus is on the iPhone platform security and especially on user’s data privacy. By the implementation of a DNS poisoning malware and two real attack scenarios on the popular Siri and Tethering services, we demonstrate that the privacy of the end-user is at stake.     

A fault analysis of DC electric arc furnaces with SVC harmonic filters in a mini-mill plant

This paper proposes the most feasible solution to overcome the failure of the 2nd harmonic filter in the static VAR compensator (SVC) which operates with the DC electric arc furnace (EAF) at Gwangyang Steel Mill in Korea. In order to investigate the causes of this failure, various measurements were carried out on the DC EAF and the main transformer at the PCC (point of common connection). It was concluded that the two causes for the failure are; the inrush current in the main transformer, and the parallel resonance between the system impedance and the harmonic filter. Three solutions to suppress the transformer inrush current and another three solutions to avoid the parallel resonance are suggested. The feasibility of these solutions was verified through the computer simulation with PSCAD/EMTDC. The most feasible solution to avoid further failures of the 2nd harmonic filter was selected, based on the estimated result for the six optional solutions in the point of performance and cost.     

天线间耦合度自动测试系统设计

多天线系统的电磁兼容性很大程度上取决于系统内收发天线间的射频能量耦合。天线间耦合度是评估系统级电磁兼容性的重要指标。针对目前传统手工测试的种种弊端,设计了基于射频开关自动切换的天线间耦合度自动测试系统,详细阐述了系统硬件构成、软件的设计思路以及具体的测试流程,使用LabVIEW编写软件控制收发天线对的自动切换,实现自动测量,具有测量误差小,测量便捷等优点。
