Dielectric, X-ray, and piezoelectric studies of highly-resistive Li-doped (1-x)PbFe(1/2)Nb(1/2)O(3)-(x)PbTiO(3) (PFN-xPT) ceramics from the 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2 range fabricated by solid-state synthesis and usual sintering have been carried out. Distinct anomalies of dielectric and piezoelectric parameters, corresponding to the transition between rhombohedral (monoclinic) and tetragonal ferroelectric phases, have been observed in pure PFN and PFN-xPT compositions with PbTiO(3) content up to 8 mol.%. The x,T-phase diagram of the PFN-xPT solid solution system has been constructed using these data. 相似文献

Accelerated weathering tests were carried out on wood–polypropylene composites containing minerals. Three different mineral fillers were studied: calcium carbonate, wollastonite and talc. Colour changes were evaluated after distinct periods; the total time of exposure of the composites to UV irradiation was 2000 h. The weathering resulted in significant colour fading of the composites. The composites containing mineral fillers had higher changes of colour (lightness) than the reference composite. Scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed deterioration of the polymer surface layer in all weathered composites. Exposure of the reference composite to UV irradiation resulted in the disappearance of the polypropylene surface layer and disclosure of wood fibres, which led to a higher drop in the lignin content of this composite compared to mineral-containing composites. A substitution of part of the wood with mineral fillers resulted in decreased water absorption and thickness swelling of mineral-containing composites, compared to the reference composite. Exposure to water immersion-freeze–thaw cyclic treatment and UV irradiation led to a decrease in the Charpy impact strength of the composites, except for the composite containing talc. 相似文献

The microstructure, chemical and phase composition of chromium silicide diffusion coatings on steels 20, 45, U8, and U10 are studied. It is established that the phases Cr23C6 and Cr7C3 with a silicon content in them of up to 0.25 at.% form at the surface of chromium silicide coatings. The maximum silicon content at 7% in steels 20 and 45 is observed beneath the carbide layer at a depth of 40–50 µm, but for steel U10 it is 1.9% at the carbide layer-matrix boundary. It is shown that the corrosion resistance of chromium silicide diffusion coatings increases markedly compared with uncoated specimens: by a factor of 15–30 depending on the acid used (H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, HNO3, CH3COOH). Good performance of optical coatings depends on the appropriate combination of optical and mechanical properties. Therefore, successful applications require good understanding of the relationship between optical microstructural and mechanical characteristics and film stability. In addition, there is a lack of standard mechanical tests that allow one to compare film properties measured in different laboratories. We give an overview of the methodology of mechanical measurements suitable for optical coatings; this includes depth-sensing indentation, scratch resistance, friction, abrasion and wear testing, and stress and adhesion evaluation. We used the techniques mentioned above in the same laboratory to systematically compare the mechanical behavior of frequently used high- and low-index materials, namely, TiO2, Ta2O5, and SiO2, prepared by different complementary techniques. They include ion-beam-assisted deposition by electron-beam evaporation, magnetron sputtering, dual-ion-beam sputtering, plasma-enhanced chemical-vapor deposition, and filtered cathodic arc deposition. The mechanical properties are correlated with the film microstructure that is inherently related to energetic conditions during film growth. 相似文献

Pairs of immiscible elements with deep eutectics are used to synthesize periodic arrays of heterodimers and hollowed metal nanocrescents. In the devised route, substrate‐immobilized Au or Ag nanostructures act as heterogeneous nucleation sites for Ge adatoms. At elevated temperatures the adatoms collect in sufficient quantities to transform each site into a AuGe liquid alloy which, upon cooling, phase separates into elemental components sharing a common interface. The so‐formed Au‐Ge and Ag‐Ge heterodimers exhibit a complex morphology characterized by a noble metal nanocrescent which partially encapsulates one end of the Ge domain. Through the use of a selective etch the Ge component is removed, leaving behind a periodic array of hollow noble metal nanocrescents on the surface of the substrate. Optical characterization of both the heterodimers and nanocrescents indicates that the presence of Ge gives rise to a relative blue‐shift in the localized surface plasmon peak, a result that is in stark contrast to the red‐shifts typically observed when plasmonic nanostructures are in contact with a dielectric medium. Simulations are used to both rationalize the observed shift and show the potential for deriving unexpected behaviors when semishell‐like noble metal structures are in contact with high permittivity dielectric mediums. 相似文献

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of process parameters, binder content and binder addition method on characteristics of the granules obtained by melt granulation (MG) in fluidized bed.Methods: Spray-on experiments were performed according to 23 full factorial design. The effect of binder content, molten binder feed rate, and spray air pressure on granule size and size distribution, granule shape, ?owability and drug release rate was investigated. In the in situ experiments, the influence of binder particle size and binder content was evaluated. Solid-state characterization was performed by means of differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray powder diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Results: Size of the granules obtained by spray-on procedure was significantly influenced by binder content and spray air pressure, while the width of particle size distribution was mainly affected by binder feed rate. Spray air pressure showed the most significant influence on granule shape. It was shown that smooth and spherical particles with good flow properties may be obtained by both procedures, spray-on and in situ MG. The results obtained indicated the influence of agglomeration mechanism on granule sphericity, with higher degree of granule sphericity observed when immersion and layering was the dominant mechanism. Paracetamol release from granulates was very rapid, but after compression of the granules into tablets, drug release was considerably slower. Solid-state analysis confirmed that the physical form of the granulate components remained unaffected after the MG process.Conclusion: The results presented indicate that MG in fluidized bed could be a good alternative to conventional granulation techniques. 相似文献

We compare generation of a dark spot using focusing of beams with azimuthal polarizion, radial polarization with a vortex, and a circular polarization with either a first or second order vortex. By optimization of the amplitude-phase pupil, it is ascertained that azimuthal polarization is the most suitable one to obtain the diffraction bounded dark spot per se whose scalar approximation limit has FWHM=0.29λ. Consequently, for dark spot generation, this polarization plays the role of the radial polarization in creation of the diffraction-limited bright spot. Using azimuthal polarization, it is shown that an amplitude-phase filter allows generation of a subdiffractive dark spot in a prescribed finite area. 相似文献

of a group of floor cleaning mobile robots. This method is based on the utilisation of low cost chemical sensors in cleaning
mobile robots, in order to differentiate clean from dirty areas. The experimental results show that the use of olfactory capabilities
allows to efficiently cover and clean a certain area, and demonstrate the possibility of coordinating several mobile robots
