Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) is a renowned approach in the context of embedded systems development. It is frequently used to deal with the structural and behavioral aspects of system design. However, the verification of system design is generally performed in isolation. It is particularly true in the context of assertion based verification. Consequently, there is a huge gap between system design and its verification that seriously effects the productivity and time-to market objectives. Therefore, in this research, we target to reduce this gap by exploiting the features of MBSE and SystemVerilog assertions (SVA’s). This article introduces a novel MBSE approach to model the design verification aspects of embedded systems, along with the system design (structural and behavioral aspects). We propose SystemVerilog in Object Constraint Language (SVOCL), an OCL temporal extension for SystemVerilog, to represent the design verification requirements by means of SVA’s. As a part of research, SVOCL transformation engine has been developed to generate SVA’s code in order to automate the design verification of embedded systems. The application of SVOCL has been validated through four case studies.  相似文献

Kenaf powder (KP) was incorporated into recycled high density polyethylene (rHDPE)/natural rubber (NR) blend using an internal mixer at 165°C and rotor speed of 50 rpm. The tensile strength and elongation at break of the composites decreased, while the tensile modulus increased with increasing filler loading. The water absorption was found to increase as the filler content increased. The maleic anhydride grafted natural rubber was prepared and used to enhance the composites performance. The addition of MANR as a coupling agent improved the tensile properties of rHDPE/NR/KP biocomposites. The water absorption was also reduced with the addition of MANR.  相似文献

The internationalization of construction companies is a subject of enduring interest among construction management scholars. The internationalization pattern of Malaysian contractors was explored, this time mainly using the international entrepreneurship body of literature as the theoretical basis. In doing so, the focus of the internationalization process was on the entrepreneurs or top management. Data were collected with a postal questionnaire survey and follow‐up semi‐structured interviews. The findings underscore the importance of the entrepreneurs’ decision in the surveyed firms’ internationalization trajectory. Top management’s perception of how their companies might benefit from internationalization was the highest ranked foreign market entry consideration. Top managements’ initial and subsequent motivation also fashioned their companies’ degree of internationalization and tactics for securing contracts. The characteristics of the entrepreneurs which drove their companies to internationalize were also captured. The international entrepreneurship domain continues to expand into previously uncharted areas. As such there is potential to uncover even more interesting findings from future research endeavours on international contractors using the international entrepreneurship approach.  相似文献

Mesoporous MCM-41 silica spheres were prepared via the pseudomorphic route, using commercial prontosil silica spheres. Surface modification offers a great opportunity to adjust both the pore structure and surface properties of MCM-41 type materials which results in materials of improved hydrothermal and mechanical stability to make them promising candidates for chromatographic applications. In the present context, the obtained MCM-41 silica spheres were surface modified with octadecyl (C18) alkyl chains, by using direct grafting and surface polymerization methods, in order to vary the degree of surface hydrophobicity. The resulting materials were characterized before and after surface modification using various characterization techniques, with special emphasis on NMR and FTIR spectroscopies, for studying the attachment, mobility and the conformational order of the attached alkyl chains.  相似文献

The effect of Na2CO3 on the cloud point in Na2CO3/surfactant/brine was investigated using two series of nonionic surfactants, C13EO x and C17EO x . The cloud point, T cp, was found to decrease linearly with increasing Na2CO3 concentration. This was attributed to Na+ and particularly to CO3 2?salting-out effect. The slope a = dTcp/d[Na2CO3] became more and more negative as the degree of ethoxylation is increased, suggesting that the higher the number of ethylene oxide (EO) groups the stronger is the cloud point depression for a given increment in Na+and CO3 2?ions in solution. This was also illustrated by the linear variation of ΔT cp = T cp,0 ? T cp,[Na2CO3] with the surfactant degree of ethoxylation.  相似文献

P0 proteins encoded by poleroviruses Brassica yellows virus (BrYV) and Potato leafroll virus (PLRV) are viral suppressors of RNA silencing (VSR) involved in abolishing host RNA silencing to assist viral infection. However, other roles that P0 proteins play in virus infection remain unclear. Here, we found that C-terminal truncation of P0 resulted in compromised systemic infection of BrYV and PLRV. C-terminal truncation affected systemic but not local VSR activities of P0 proteins, but neither transient nor ectopic stably expressed VSR proteins could rescue the systemic infection of BrYV and PLRV mutants. Moreover, BrYV mutant failed to establish systemic infection in DCL2/4 RNAi or RDR6 RNAi plants, indicating that systemic infection might be independent of the VSR activity of P0. Partially rescued infection of BrYV mutant by the co-infected PLRV implied the functional conservation of P0 proteins within genus. However, although C-terminal truncation mutant of BrYV P0 showed weaker interaction with its movement protein (MP) when compared to wild-type P0, wild-type and mutant PLRV P0 showed similar interaction with its MP. In sum, our findings revealed the role of P0 in virus systemic infection and the requirement of P0 carboxyl terminal region for the infection.  相似文献

Batch process monitoring is a challenging task, because conventional methods are not well suited to handle the inherent multiphase operation. In this study, a novel multiway independent component analysis (MICA) mixture model and mutual information based fault detection and diagnosis approach is proposed. The multiple operating phases in batch processes are characterized by non‐Gaussian independent component mixture models. Then, the posterior probability of the monitored sample is maximized to identify the operating phase that the sample belongs to, and, thus, the localized MICA model is developed for process fault detection. Moreover, the detected faulty samples are projected onto the residual subspace, and the mutual information based non‐Gaussian contribution index is established to evaluate the statistical dependency between the projection and the measurement along each process variable. Such contribution index is used to diagnose the major faulty variables responsible for process abnormalities. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated using the fed‐batch penicillin fermentation process, and the results are compared to those of the multiway principal component analysis mixture model and regular MICA method. The case study demonstrates that the proposed approach is able to detect the abnormal events over different phases as well as diagnose the faulty variables with high accuracy. © 2013 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 59: 2761–2779, 2013  相似文献

Contemporary char reactivity studies have focussed primarily on coal chars prepared under severe (high-temperature) conditions. In this study, the reactivity of chars prepared under mild (low-temperature) conditions has been addressed. A thermogravimetric analysis system (TGA) was used to determine the reactivity of chars in oxidizing atmosphere using isothermal or non-isothermal techniques. Coal chars were prepared in a TGA or in a slow heating rate organic devolatilization reactor (SHRODR) at a temperature range between 500 ° and 950 °C. The chars prepared by mild pyrolysis of coal at 500 °C are shown to be highly reactive. Comparison of reactivities of low- and high-temperature chars shows that the low-temperature chars exhibit higher reactivity than either the parent coals or the high-temperature chars. Correlation between isothermal reactivity results (e.g. time) and non-isothermal reactivity data (e.g. temperature) has been obtained. Hydrogen contents of chars correlate well with the reactivity of the chars. The study confirms the importance of oxygen chemisorption capacity as a significant reactivity parameter for both low- and high-temperature chars. A new approach has been used for calculating the oxygen chemisorption capacity of chars by accounting for the carbon surface sites occupied by hydrogen (and, therefore, these sites were unavailable for oxygen chemisorption). The occupied sites are readily freed during reactivity measurements and thus were available for participation in carbon-oxygen reactions.  相似文献
