Research interest in multi-frame Superresolution has risen substantially in recent years.This paper presents a modified Projection Onto Convex Set (POCS) superresolution method based on wavelet transform.The method analyzes the image formation model from wavelet multiresolution analysis point of view and defines an closed convex set and its corresponding projection based on wavelet transform.An iterative procedure is utilized to reduce the estimated errors of the result image,and this guarantees the estimated image to lay in the intersection of different convex sets,thus produces a high resolution image with a reduced error.The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated by experimental results. 相似文献

A second-order switching surface in the boundary control of buck converters is derived in this letter. The formulated switching surface can make the overall converter exhibit better steady-state and transient behaviors than the one with a first-order switching surface. The switching surface is derived by estimating the state trajectory movement after a switching action, resulting in a high state trajectory velocity along the switching surface. This phenomenon accelerates the trajectory moving toward the target operating point. The proposed control scheme has been successfully applied to a 120-W buck converter. This paper addresses the design and analysis of a zero-current-switched (ZCS) bidirectional flyback dc/dc converter. The converter is based on extending a previously developed unidirectional ZCS flyback converter and replacing the output diode with a controlled switch, which acts as either a rectifier or a power control switch in the corresponding power flow direction. By adding an auxiliary winding in the coupled inductor, a switch, and a capacitor, the hard-switching design is converted into a soft-switching one. The technique utilizes the leakage inductance of the flyback coupled inductor to create zero-current-switching conditions for all switches in both power flow directions, leading to reduced switching losses, stresses, and electromagnetic interference. In this paper, a spatiotemporal neural network for partially occluded object recognition is presented. The system consists of two major components: a feature extraction process and a spatiotemporal modular neural network. The former is made up of a sequence of preprocessing techniques including thresholding, boundary extraction, Gaussian filtering, and a split-and-merge algorithm to generate features that will represent the objects to be recognized. These acquired features are invariant to rotation, translation, and scaling and can serve as input to the spatiotemporal network that utilizes the concept of tap delay to account for spatial correlation between consecutive input features. A shape perceiver is designed into the network to extract continued parts of an object as well as to enable the inclusion of each object's unique characteristics into the system. Traditional neural network approaches for recognizing partially occluded objects have encountered significant problems because of the incomplete boundaries of the objects. In our approach, by creatively installing tap delays, the system can escape this limitation. Experimental results show that the proposed system can produce satisfactory results in efficiently and effectively recognizing partially occluded objects. Furthermore, intrinsic to this system is the ease by which it can be realized through parallel implementation, thus minimizing the tremendous time spent in matching object contours stored in a model database, as is the case in conventional recognition systems 相似文献

Measurements of conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission from hard-switched and soft-switched buck, boost, and flyback converters of similar power ratings are presented. Results indicate that EMI emission can be substantially reduced by using a soft-switching technique in power converters. Thus, the soft-switching technique provides a practical and useful solution to reduce EMI emission from switched-mode power circuits. CMOS hot-carrier reliability at both transistor and circuit levels has been examined. Accurate reliability assessment requires defining suitable criteria for acceptable performance for both circuit and individual transistors. As device designers meet demands for greater speed and more complex circuitry accompanied by shrinking the size of transistor into the deep-submicron regime, they have to contend with increase in current densities and higher electric fields. Though in general a MOSFET's driving capability increases as the channel length decreases, the resulting high field will eventually limit the driving capability of the device.
