Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) is a long chain carbon synthetic polymer. The objective of this study was to improve the bioactivity of PVDC films through surface modification using argon (Ar) ion bombardment to create Ar-modified PVDC films (Ar-PVDC) to address the clinical problems of guided bone regeneration (GBR), which is technique-sensitive, and low bone regenerative ability. First, the effects of Ar ion bombardment, a low temperature plasma etching technique widely used in industry, on PVDC film wettability, surface chemistry, and morphology were confirmed. Next, fibroblast-like and osteoblast-like cell attachment and proliferation on Ar-PVDC were assessed. As a preclinical in vivo study, Ar-PVDC was used to cover a critical-sized bone defect on rat calvaria and osteoconductivity was evaluated by micro-computed tomography analysis and histological examinations. We found that the contact angle of PVDC film decreased by 50° because of the production of –OH groups on the PVDC film surface, though surface morphological was unchanged at 30 min after Ar ion bombardment. We demonstrated that cell attachment increased by about 40 % and proliferation by more than 140 % because of increased wettability, and 2.4 times greater bone regeneration was observed at week 3 with Ar-PVDC compared with untreated PVDC films. These results suggest that Ar ion bombardment modification of PVDC surfaces improves osteoconductivity, indicating its potential to increase bone deposition during GBR.  相似文献

This paper deals with the stability of linear shift‐invariant multidimensional dynamical systems defined on honeycomb structure. Two different honeycomb structures are discussed. The local dynamical states are assumed to be distributed to honeycomb cells in the first consideration, and they are assumed to be distributed to the nodes of honeycomb mesh in the second consideration. In each honeycomb structure, the fundamental linear shift‐invariant dynamics is introduced and then the stability criterion is presented.  相似文献

The Lagrangian relaxation and cut generation technique is applied to solve sequence-dependent setup time flowshop scheduling problems to minimise the total weighted tardiness. The original problem is decomposed into individual job-level subproblems that can be effectively solved by dynamic programming. Two types of additional constraints for the violation of sequence-dependent setup time constraints are imposed on the decomposed subproblems in order to improve the lower bound. The decomposed subproblem with the additional setup time constraints on any subset of jobs is also effectively solved by a novel dynamic programming. Computational results show that the lower bound derived by the proposed method is much better than those of CPLEX and branch and bound for problem instances with 50 jobs and five stages with less computational effort.  相似文献

We recently clarified that the side-scatter(ed) light (SSC) of flow cytometry (FCM) could be used as a guide to measure the uptake potential of nanoparticles [ Suzuki et al. Environ. Sci. Technol. 2007 , 41 , 3018 - 3024 ]. In this paper, the method was improved so as to be able to determine simultaneously the uptake potential of nanoparticles and the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and correlations with genotoxicity were evaluated. In the FCM analysis, SSC and fluorescence of 6-carboxy-2,7'-diclorodihydrofluorescein diacetate, di(acetoxy ester) based on ROS production were concurrently detected after treatments with ZnO, CuO, Fe(3)O(4), TiO(2), and Ag nanoparticles. The ZnO and CuO nanoparticles caused high ROS production, which was more significant in the cells with higher SSC intensity. The increase of SSC intensity was more significant for TiO(2) than ZnO and CuO, whereas ROS production was higher for ZnO and CuO than TiO(2), suggesting that the extent of ROS production based on the uptake of nanoparticles differed with each kind of nanoparticle. ROS production was correlated with generation of the phosphorylated histone H2AX (γ-H2AX), a marker of DNA damage, and an antioxidant, n-acetylcysteine, could partially suppress the γ-H2AX. This method makes it possible to predict not only uptake potential but also genotoxicity.  相似文献

The effects were studied of additives on the sintering and properties such as the compressive strength and chemical durability of ceramics of calcium pyrophosphate, tricalcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite. In improving the compressive strength of these calcium phosphates, the effect of additives was found to be in the order Na2OCaF2>MgOgAl2O3, SiO2 for the case of single-doping, and was most marked in the combination of Na2O-MgO-Al2O3 for the complex addition. It was also found that the chemical durability of the calcium phosphates was improved greatly by using a single or complex additives.  相似文献

We address a bilevel decomposition algorithm for solving the simultaneous scheduling and conflict-free routing problems for automated guided vehicles. The overall objective is to minimize the total weighted tardiness of the set of jobs related to these tasks. A mixed integer formulation is decomposed into two levels: the upper level master problem of task assignment and scheduling; and the lower level routing subproblem. The master problem is solved by using Lagrangian relaxation and a lower bound is obtained. Either the solution turns out to be feasible for the lower level or a feasible solution for the problem is constructed, and an upper bound is obtained. If the convergence is not satisfied, cuts are generated to exclude previous feasible solutions before solving the master problem again. Two types of cuts are proposed to reduce the duality gap. The effectiveness of the proposed method is investigated from computational experiments.  相似文献

Quantity discount policy is decision-making for trade-off prices between suppliers and manufacturers while production is changeable due to demand fluctuations in a real market. In this paper, quantity discount models which consider selection of contract suppliers, production quantity and inventory simultaneously are addressed. The supply chain planning problem with quantity discounts under demand uncertainty is formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming problem (MINLP) with integral terms. We apply an outer-approximation method to solve MINLP problems. In order to improve the efficiency of the proposed method, the problem is reformulated as a stochastic model replacing the integral terms by using a normalisation technique. We present numerical examples to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

During particulate solid processing, particle-particle and particle-wall collisions can generate electrostatic charges. This may lead to a variety of problems ranging from fire and explosion hazards to segregation, caking, and blocking. A fundamental understanding of the particle charging in such situations is therefore essential. For this purpose we have developed a new device that can measure charge transfer due to impact between a single particle and a metal plate. The device consists of an impact test system and two sets of Faraday cage and preamplifier for charge measurement. With current amplifiers, high-resolution measurements of particle charges of approximately 1 and 10 fC have been achieved before and after the impact, respectively. The device allows charge measurements of single particles with a size as small as approximately 100 microm impacting on the target at different incident angles with a velocity up to about 80 m/s. Further analyses of the charge transfer as a function of particle initial charge define an equilibrium charge, i.e., an initial charge level prior to impact for which no net charge transfer would occur as a result of impact.  相似文献
