We developed high-efficiency multi-photon emission (MPE) blue phosphorescent OLEDs with external quantum efficiency exceeding 40% at 100 cd m−2. In these MPE devices, we used a blue phosphorescent emitter, FIrpic and pyridine-containing electron-transporters, B3PyPB and B3PyMPM, B4PyMPM. We also used a well-known electron-transporter, BCP for comparison. We used a combination of TAPC/MoO3/Al/Liq layers as the charge-generation layer unit. An optimized MPE device showed an extremely high current efficiency of over 90 cd A−1 and a high power efficiency of over 40 lm W−1 at 100 cd m−2 without any outcoupling enhancement.  相似文献

We demonstrated the use of an asymmetrical donor–acceptor-type indoline dye—D131, developed for dye-sensitized solar cells, as an electron donor and fullerene C70 as an electron acceptor for thermal co-evaporated bulk-heterojunction organic solar cells (OSCs). In spite of the presence of intermolecular hydrogen bonds among D131 molecules, they can be thermally evaporated in high vacuum at a relatively low temperature of 220 °C. The blend ratio and thickness of the active layer of D131/C70 blend films in OSCs were optimized to achieve a maximum power-conversion efficiency of 4.5% with a short-circuit current of 9.1 mA cm?2, an open-circuit voltage of 0.89 V, and a fill factor of 0.56 under AM 1.5G solar illumination (100 mW cm?2), which is the best value reported so far for OSCs based on indoline-based donor materials.  相似文献

The objective was to characterize and associate the receptor reactivities of fibroblastic growth factor (FGF)‐2, FGF‐7, FGF‐8, epidermal growth factor (EGF), α‐actin and vimentin in relation to the androgen receptor (AR), α and β estrogen receptors (ERα and ERβ), and prolactin receptor in the prostate of elderly men showing low‐ and high‐grade adenocarcinoma. Thirty prostatic samples were taken from 60‐ to 90‐year‐old patients without prostatic lesions and with low‐grade cancer and high‐grade cancer, from the University Hospital, School of Medicine, the State University of Campinas. The results showed that increased FGF‐2, FGF‐7, and FGF‐8 receptor reactivities and decreased AR reactivity were verified in both high‐ and low‐grade cancer. However, the FGF‐8 receptor showed greater involvement at the beginning of the malignancy alterations. Increased EGF receptor (EGFR) reactivity and diminished α‐actin immunohistochemistry were identified in both cancer groups. Also, increased ERα, PR, and vimentin receptors were verified in both cancer groups. To conclude, the ERα involvement in the reactive stroma activation led to a microenvironment, which was favorable to cancer progression, due to maximizing stromal imbalance. The prolactin could be related to cancer progression due to its interaction with ERα action, indicating that this hormone could be a relevant target to prevent the estrogenic effects in the prostatic lesions. Both FGF receptor (FGFR)‐2 and FGFR‐8 play a fundamental role in the early stages of prostate cancer, suggesting that these molecules could be a promising therapeutic target. The differential localization of the fibroblastic factors between the prostatic epithelium and stroma of elderly men, who presented prostate cancer, could indicate a favorable distinction for tumoral progression. Steel-strip reinforced earth walls stabilize through the pullout resistance of the reinforcements. Soil dilation during the pullout of ribbed reinforcements may contribute to the evolution of pullout resistance; however, few studies have clarified this mechanism by investigating how soils behave with increasing pullout displacement. The ribs of the reinforcements enhance the pullout resistance, although the influence of the rib dimensions on the evolution of pullout resistance with increasing pullout displacement has not been sufficiently revealed. In the present study, a triaxial pullout apparatus is developed and pullout tests are conducted using ribbed reinforcements with different rib-inclination angles under isotropic stress. The displacement and strain fields in the soils during the pullout of the reinforcements are investigated by X-ray micro CT and a digital image correlation technique. It is found that larger rib-inclination angles provide higher pullout resistance at an early stage of the pullout because of the higher bearing resistance related to the more significant soil densification above the ribs. With increasing pullout displacement, the reinforcements with different rib-inclination angles come to behave as almost one in the same since a rigid soil wedge related to the passive soil failure is generated above the ribs. This tendency results in similar soil deformation characteristics and pullout resistance levels for every reinforcement beyond the soil failure state, although the rib-inclination angles are different.  相似文献

Imipenem/cilastatin sodium (IPM/CS) was administered to 102 patients with respiratory tract infections and lung cancer. Patients with other serious diseases were excluded and a total of 73 patients were enrolled. They were divided into 12 patients who underwent surgery (operated group) and 61 who did not (non-operated group); the latter group included 28 patients treated with anticancer agents or radiation therapy (treated group) and 33 untreated patients (untreated group). IPM/CS was effective in 75% of the patients, both with and without surgery. The drug was effective in 81% of the treated group, although many of the patients had Stage III or more advanced cancer, as well as bronchial occlusion. IPM/CS was also effective in 69% of the untreated group, although many of the patients have serious infections and a PS (Performance Status) of 3 or greater. Thus, IPM/CS treatment achieved good results. Bacteriological studies showed that 3 out of 4 strains in the operated group and 16 out of 18 in the non-operated group were eliminated. Safety was evaluated in all patients. Two patients (2%) experienced side effects and two others (2%) showed abnormal clinical findings, but the symptoms were mild and resolved after discontinuation or completion of therapy. In conclusion, IPM/CS was very effective for treating respiratory infections in patients with lung cancer.  相似文献

Pseudoazurin, a low molecular weight protein containing a singletype I copper, functions as an electron donor to a copper-containingnitrite reductase (NIR) in a denitrifying bacterium Alcaligenesfaecalis S-6. To elucidate the proteinprotein interaction betweenthese two copper-containing proteins, each of nine out of 13lysine residues on the surface of pseudoazurin were independentlyreplaced by alanine or aspartate, and the effects of the mutationson the interaction with NIR, as well as the physicochemicalproperties of pseudoazurin, were analyzed. All of the mutatedpseudoazurins showed optical spectra and oxidation-reductionpotentials almost identical to those of wildtype pseudoazurin,suggesting that none of the replacements of these lysine residuesaffected the environment around the type I copper site. Kineticanalysis of electron transfer between mutated pseudoazurinsand NIR reveals that the lysine mutations have very little effecton the rate of electron transfer to NIR, but substitution atresidues 10, 38, 57 and 77, all close to the copper site, substantiallydecreases the affinity of pseudoazurin for NIR. This suggeststhat pseudoazurin interacts with NIR through the region closeto the type I copper site. The refined X-ray structures of Lys38Aspand Lys10Asp/Lys38Asp show that the molecular structure hasindeed changed little. A new space group is observed for theLys109Ala mutant crystal. Crystal packing interactions changefor the Lys10Asp/Lys38Asp mutant but remain the same for Lys38Aspand Lys59Ala mutants.  相似文献

The New South Wales Department of Corrective Services has introduced a number of suicide prevention measures in order to deal with the problem of inmate suicides. This article describes the measures. The article also shows that the characteristics of the incarcerated population differ greatly from those in the community. Findings from the self-harm database 1991-1995 show that, nevertheless, there are some unique characteristics of the group of self-harmers and fatal self-harmers. These findings are discussed in relation to the preventive measures that are introduced in the NSW correctional centers.  相似文献

Human prostatic carcinoma frequently metastasizes to bone tissue and activates bone metabolism, especially bone formation, at the site of metastasis. It has been reported that an extract of prostatic carcinoma and conditioned medium (CM) of a human prostatic carcinoma cell line, PC-3, established from a bone metastastic lesion, stimulate osteoblastic cell proliferation. However, there is little information about the effect of PC-3 CM on the differentiation of osteoblastic cells. In this study, we investigated the effect of PC-3 CM on the differentiation of two types of osteoblastic cells, primary fetal rat calvaria (RC) cells containing many undifferentiated osteoprogenitor cells, and ROS 17/2.8, a well-differentiated rat osteosarcoma cell line. PC-3 CM inhibited bone nodule formation and the activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALPase), an osteoblastic marker enzyme, on days 7, 14, and 21 (RC cells) or 3, 6, and 9 (ROS 17/2.8 cells) in a dose-dependent manner (5-30% CM). However, the CM did not affect cell proliferation or cell viability. PC-3 CM was found to markedly block the gene expression of ALPase and osteocalcin (OCN) mRNAs but had no effect on the mRNA expression of osteopontin (OPN), the latter two being noncollagenous proteins related to bone matrix mineralization. These findings suggest that PC-3 CM contains a factor that inhibits osteoblastic cell differentiation and that this factor may be involved in the process of bone metastasis from prostatic carcinoma.  相似文献
