This paper treats the problem of identification of a linear electric circuit described by an ill-conditioned mathematical model. The identification problem is considered as the problem of model parameters determination by means of processing experimental data measured for the objective circuit. Topological singularities (low-admittance cutsets and low-impedance loops) in a circuit are found to be origins of ill-conditionality of a circuit model. For more in-depth investigation the classification of electric circuits is made in respect to singularities position. It is shown that the first set of experimental data obtained for an ill-conditioned model is useless for getting the required solution of the identification problem. In this case a solution error amounts to a huge value that exponentially increases with growth in condition number of a model matrix. It is found that linear relations between model parameters can be determined in an ill-conditioned problem. Accuracy of these relations does not depend on condition number, but is defined only by measurement precision. An approach named as repeat measurements principle (RMP) and based on linear relations is suggested to solve an ill-conditioned identification problem. A new RMP-based algorithm of linear circuit identification is developed. The algorithm shows a high efficiency and allows us to determine model parameters accurate to measurement precision as applied to any type of reciprocal and nonreciprocal linear circuits.  相似文献

The oxidative dehydrogenations of ethane and propane were investigated over a series of zirconia and nickel‐oxide supported on zirconia catalysts. It was found that zirconia, sulfated zirconia as well as NiO‐based zirconia catalysts showed high catalytic activities for oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane and propane. However, conversion and selectivity differed depending on the nature of the catalysts. Zirconia, sulfated zirconia (SZ) and their supported NiO catalysts showed high ethane conversions but lesser selectivities to olefins while NiO/Li2ZrO3 exhibited high selectivities to ethylene and propylene. Addition of an LiCl promoter in the NiO/SZ catalyst increased the catalytic activity and olefin selectivity, thus resulting in a higher olefin yield. In the oxidative dehydrogenations of ethane and propane NiO–LiCl/SZ exhibited 79% ethylene selectivity at 93% ethane conversion at 650 °C and 52% selectivity to propylene at 20% propane conversion at 600 °C, respectively. Characterization showed that the physico‐chemical properties of the catalysts determine the catalytic activity and selectivity. © 2001 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

The catalytic activity in the polymerization of styrene has been examined using commercially available simple rare earth metal compounds such as Sm(OiPr)3, Sm(acac)3, Sm(OCOMe)3, SmI2(THF)2 or SmCl3 coupled with Et3Al or methylaluminoxane (MAO). Among these compounds, the Sm(OiPr)3/AlEt3 system shows the highest catalytic activity, especially in the presence of a minor amount of toluene at 60 °C. The random copolymerization of styrene with methyl methacrylate suggests that the present polymerization proceeds with a radical polymerization mechanism. (C5Me5)SmCl3Na(THF) and (C5Me5)SmCl3Li(THF) systems exhibit relatively low catalytic activity, even in the presence of AlEt3. © 2001 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

We examined the film morphologies and transistor properties of hetero-molecular bilayer consisting of N, N’-dioctyl-3, 4, 9, 10-perylenedicarboximide (PTCDI-C8) and quaterrylene. First, the structure and carrier conduction of PTCDI-C8 films were studied, followed by an analysis of the carrier accumulation process in a PTCDI-C8/quaterrylene hetero-bilayer transistor. Based on the displacement current measurement (DCM), we stress the potential of the hetero-bilayer for tuning carrier accumulation like carrier doping techniques in field-effect transistors.  相似文献

We measured dc and ac breakdown voltages in liquid nitrogen (LN 2) with a sphere-to-plane electrode configuration. Experimental results revealed that the breakdown voltage in LN2 did not increase monotonously but partially decreased as the sphere diameter increased at a constant gap length. Thus, the existence of the area and the volume effects on the breakdown voltage in LN2 was verified quantitatively; the breakdown strength decreased when increasing the {SEA}90 (90% stressed electrode area) and the {SLV}90 (90% stressed liquid volume). By changing the experimental conditions, it was verified that both area and volume effects, having a mutual correlation, simultaneously lead to the degradation of the breakdown strength in LN2. In order to examine the area and the volume effects for the larger {SEA}90 and {SLV}90, we also measured the breakdown voltage with a coaxial cylindrical electrode. It was concluded that the dc and ac breakdown strengths in LN2 decreased as the {SEA}90 and the {SLV}90 increased varying widely from 100 to 105 mm2 and from 10 -1 to 105 mm3, respectively  相似文献

In previous studies, the authors confirmed that the plasma-chemical combined hybrid process for controlling NO flue gas emission was extremely effective and economical in comparison with the conventional selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system and other technologies. In the present study, we carried out experiments on the simultaneous removal of NO/sub x/ and SO/sub x/ at elevated temperature using the plasma-chemical hybrid process. A series of experiments was performed to quantify all the reaction byproducts such as N/sub 2/O, CO, HNO/sub 2/, HNO/sub 3/, NO/sub 3//sup -/, and SO/sub 4//sup -/ to evaluate the simultaneous NO/sub x/ and SO/sub x/ removal efficiency. The oxidation from NO to NO/sub 2/ without decreasing NO/sub x/ concentration (i.e., minimum reaction byproducts) and with least power consumption is the key for the optimum operation of the plasma reactor. The produced NO/sub 2/ was totally converted to N/sub 2/ and Na/sub 2/SO/sub 4/ with Na/sub 2/SO/sub 3/ or Na/sub 2/S with and without NaOH using the barrier-type packed-bed plasma reactor followed by the packed-column chemical reactor. The NO/sub 2/ reduction was more effective for Na/sub 2/S than Na/sub 2/SO/sub 3/ but produces H/sub 2/S with Na/sub 2/S. For both cases at least five times the stoichiometric amount of chemicals were required for complete NO/sub 2/ reduction. Nearly 100% of NO/sub x/ and SO /sub 2/ and 40% Of CO/sub 2/ simultaneous removal were achieved with less than 5 ppm of N/sub 2/O and CO. The operating cost was less than 1/4 the SCR process. The additional SO/sub 2/ treatment system can be eliminated.  相似文献

The partial discharge (PD) inception characteristics are studied in liquid nitrogen (LN/sub 2/)/polypropylene laminated paper (PPLP/sup /spl reg//) composite insulation system for high temperature superconducting (HTS) cable. Experimental results revealed that the magnitude of the initial PD increased as the PD inception electric field strength was increased, because the injected energy increased. Initial PD was generated at the first and third quadrant of applied AC voltage phase. The probability of initial PD at the positive and negative voltage phase was almost the same. The reason is because liquid nitrogen is a nonpolar molecule and we used symmetric electrode configuration with uniform electric field distribution. Finally, it was pointed out that PD inception electric field strength (PDIE) depended on the volume of the butt gap because of the increasing probability of weak points of electrical insulation, and PDIE linearly decreased with increasing stressed volume of the butt gap in the log-log scale.  相似文献

The main objectives of the preoperative evaluation of a patient with medically intractable epileptic seizures are localization of the foci and propagation of the epileptiform discharges. Electrocorticographic (ECoG) data of intractable focal epilepsy were analyzed using an AR model, wavelet analysis, and cross-correlation analysis. In order to derive the time-shifts, the cross correlations of the epileptiform discharges were calculated between electrodes for every unit of time. Further analyses were made by means of a set of contour maps of the time-shifts and sequential two- and three-dimensional visualizations of the time-shift maps in order to localize the epileptic foci and study their propagation process. Two types of foci and propagation were revealed in the results. In the first type, epileptiform discharges were generated at localized focal sites and spread quickly to other sites. In the second type, the foci of epileptiform discharges, which appeared soon after the former bursts, were localized at more than one site, and the discharges tended to spread more slowly. The findings suggest that epileptic phenomena can be caused by at least two kinds of mechanisms in one patient: in the former, the propagation might be mediated through synaptic projections, while in the latter, the extracellular diffusion of an excitatory factor might play an important role. In addition, our newly developed visualization technique for the localization of epileptic foci and the propagation of epileptiform discharges should prove useful in the study of epileptogenesis etiology.  相似文献

Gas chromatography-olfactometry with headspace gas dilution analysis was used to evaluate the odor potencies of volatile compounds in Fuji apple. To improve the resolution of volatile compounds, the dilution analysis was conducted on two types of capillary columns with different polarities. Thirty three and 20 compounds were identified on DB-WAX and DB-5 columns, respectively. Methyl 2-methylbutanoate, isobutyl acetate, ethyl butanoate, ethyl 2-methylbutanoate, isopentyl formate, butyl acetate and hexyl acetate as well as hexanal were important odor contributors in the headspace gas of apple on the basis of high Flavor Dilution (FD) factors. Threshold values-in-air of these compounds were also estimated from the relationships between their FD factors and concentrations. Methyl 2-methylbutanoate and ethyl 2-methylbutanote were considered as the most potent odorants because of their lowest threshold values. In addition, the threshold values-in-air of isopentyl formate, isopentyl acetate and butyl isobutanoate, which have never been reported, were estimated at 0.149, 1.95 and 0.00607 μl/l, respectively.  相似文献

The expression of mRNA encoding the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1alpha (IL-1alpha), interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-alpha) have been examined in radicular cysts by in situ hybridization. Furthermore, the biological activity of the contents of radicular cysts (RCC) has been assayed by adding extracts of RCC to cultured human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) and analyzing the culture medium for the release of inflammatory cytokines. In the epithelial layer, keratinocytes expressed all cytokine mRNAs examined at various levels. Basal layer cells expressed mRNA for each cytokine. In the subepithelial granulation tissue of the cysts, fibroblasts and macrophages expressed mRNA for IL-6, IL-8, IL-1beta and TNF-alpha mRNA at varying levels; especially clear expression of TNF-alpha and IL-1beta mRNA was detected on macrophages. The infiltrating lymphoid cells, largely composed of T cells and plasma cells, expressed these cytokine mRNAs, especially those encoding IL-6 and IL-8, at various levels. In vitro analysis indicated dose-dependent release of both IL-6 and IL-8 by HGFs in response to RCC. After heating to 100 degrees C for 10 min, RCC almost completely failed to stimulate IL-6 release from HGFs. Furthermore, anti-IL-1beta antibody (neutralization test) did not prevent the stimulation of IL-6 release by RCC. Significant amounts of IL-6 and IL-8 were detected in RCC in two cases, and a trace amount of IL-1beta was detected in one case. This study demonstrated the wide expression of mRNA encoding inflammatory cytokines in radicular cyst tissues, and RCC itself was capable of stimulating IL-6 and IL-8 production from HGFs.  相似文献
