Nanometric V-doped particles with vanadium concentration varying from 0 to 10% were prepared using the polyol method. The influence of the doping on the textural, structural and optical properties was studied by various methods of characterization. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns disclose that nanocrystallites of cassiterite, i.e. rutile-like tetragonal structure SnO2 and the absence of a new vanadium phase in the XRD pattern in the different concentration of doping were formed after annealing, the ordinary crystallite size decreased from 20.6 to 12.3 when the doping concentration increased from 0 to 10%, respectively. Moreover, the N2 sorption porosimetry and transmission electron microscopic show that all samples synthesized were constituted of an aggregated network of almost spherical nanoparticles, which sizes changed with the altitude in the doping concentration to 10%. In accordance with UV–visible absorption measurements, this diminution of nanoparticles sizes was followed by a decrease in the band gap value from 3.25 eV, for undoped SnO2, to 2.75 eV, for SnO2 doped at 10%. On the other part, the photocatalytic activity of undoped and V-doped SnO2 nanoparticles was studied using methylene blue (MB) as model organic pollutants. The SnO2 nanoparticles doped at 10% of vanadium disclosed that the discoloration of MB reached 97.4% after irradiation of 120 min, with an apparent constant rate of the degradation reaching 0.035 min?1 for MB degradation that was about 2.5 times more than that of pure SnO2 (0.014 min?1). 相似文献

To structure the development of an integrated building design environment, the global representation of the design data may best be organized in terms of hierarchies of objects. In structural engineering design we deal with large sets of independent but interrelated objects. These objects are specified by data. For an engineering design data base the system must be able to model the objects composing the design as well as to manage effectively the design data. The data base management system therefore needs to have some knowledge of the intended use of the data, and must provide an abstraction mechanism to represent and manipulate objects. Much recent research in engineering data bases focuses on object management for specific tasks but gives little attention to the shareability of the underlying information. This paper describes an architecture for the management of complex engineering objects in a sharable, relational framework. Potential application of this approach to object management for structural engineering analysis and design is discussed. 相似文献

Population declines due to amphibian chytridiomycosis among selected species of ranid frogs from western North America have been severe, but there is evidence that the Oregon spotted frog, Rana pretiosa Baird and Girard, 1853, displays resistance to the disease. Norepinephrine-stimulated skin secretions were collected from a non-declining population of R. pretiosa that had been exposed to the causative agent Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. Peptidomic analysis led to identification and isolation, in pure form, of a total of 18 host-defense peptides that were characterized structurally. Brevinin-1PRa, -1PRb, -1PRc, and -1PRd, esculentin-2PRa and -PRb, ranatuerin-2PRa, -2PRb, -2PRc, and -2PRe, temporin-PRb and -PRc were identified in an earlier study of skin secretions of frogs from a different population of R. pretiosa known to be declining. Ranatuerin-2PRf, -2PRg, -2PRh, temporin-PRd, -PRe, and -PRf were not identified in skin secretions from frogs from the declining population, whereas temporin-PRa and ranatuerin-2PRd, present in skin secretions from the declining population, were not detected in the current study. All purified peptides inhibited the growth of B. dendrobatidis zoospores. Peptides of the brevinin-1 and esculentin-2 families displayed the highest potency (minimum inhibitory concentration = 6.25–12.5 μM). The study provides support for the hypothesis that the multiplicity and diversity of the antimicrobial peptide repertoire in R. pretiosa and the high growth-inhibitory potency of certain peptides against B. dendrobatidis are important in conferring a measure of resistance to fatal chytridiomycosis. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is to explore the collateral effects of project-based management. Our purpose is not to deny the value of projects to corporate performance but to encourage companies to pay greater attention to the collateral effects this form of management causes for both individuals and groups. To this end, an exploratory research exercise was devised as a means of gathering evidence from interviews conducted outside the workplace but in a sufficiently rigorous manner to guarantee its authenticity. Three categories of risks were identified, together with nine main pathologies. The efficient syntheses of tetrakis(thiophenol)methane and of a new poly(disulfide) hyper‐crosslinked polymer based on the former monomer are described. Controlled de‐polymerization as well as surface post‐functionalization are successfully conducted on this novel material. Direct prove of post‐functionalization is obtained through solid‐state fluorescence emission spectroscopy, and the number of unreacted thiol‐functions on the surface of the polymeric material is indirectly quantified by de‐polymerization of the post‐functionalized material. 相似文献
