A model-based engineering discipline presupposes that models are organised by creating relationships between them. While there has been considerable work on understanding what it means to instantiate one model from another, little is known about when a model should be considered to be a specialisation of another one. This article motivates and discusses ways of defining specialisation relationships between models, languages, and transformations respectively. Consideration is given to both structural and behavioural compatibility concerns. Several alternatives of defining a specialisation relationship are considered and discussed. The article furthermore discusses the notions of referee and context in order to validate and define specialisation relationships. The ideas and discussions presented in this article are meant to provide a further stepping stone towards a systematic basis for organising models.  相似文献

In this work, we present and analyse the flow-sensing part of a recently-developed multisensor in LTCC (low-temperature co-fired ceramic) technology; this device integrates flow/pressure/temperature sensing and is designed for diagnostics monitoring of standard industrial compressed air circuits and devices such as valves and actuators. In this prototype, flow is sensed using the constant-temperature anemometric principle, with temperature-sensing active and reference thermistors placed in the fluidic channel integrated within the LTCC structure. The LTCC bridge structuration technology and electronics are analysed, and possible improvements in fabrication yield and efficiency outlined.  相似文献

A growing body of work emphasizes the importance of regional factors for regional innovativeness. In this paper, about 70 variables approximating the social-economic characteristics of regions are aggregated to 12 regional factors. In four industry-specific set-ups their influence on firms?? innovativeness is tested. The study confirms that inter-industrial differences exist in the importance of these factors. In the empirical analyses a log-linear model is compared with a linear approach. While both are theoretically problematic it is shown that the log-linear model performs better in the empirical assessment.  相似文献

Highly thermally stable N-aryl,N-alkyl N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ruthenium catalysts were designed and synthesized for latent olefin metathesis. These catalysts showed excellent latent behavior toward metathesis reactions, whereby the complexes were inactive at ambient temperature and initiated at elevated temperatures, a challenging property to achieve with second generation catalysts. A sterically hindered N-tert-butyl substituent on the NHC ligand of the ruthenium complex was found to induce latent behavior toward cross-metathesis reactions, and exchange of the chloride ligands for iodide ligands was necessary to attain latent behavior during ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP). Iodide-based catalysts showed no reactivity toward ROMP of norbornene-derived monomers at 25 °C, and upon heating to 85 °C gave complete conversion of monomer to polymer in less than 2 hours. All of the complexes were very stable to air, moisture, and elevated temperatures up to at least 90 °C, and exhibited a long catalyst lifetime in solution at elevated temperatures.  相似文献

In this paper several methods for model assessment considering uncertainties are discussed. Sensitivity analysis is performed to quantify the influence of the individual model input parameters. In addition to the well-known analysis of a single model, a new procedure for quantifying the influence of the model choice on the uncertainty of the model prediction is proposed. Furthermore, a procedure is presented which can be used to estimate the model framework uncertainty and which enables the selection of the optimal model with the best compromise between model input and framework uncertainty. Finally Bayesian methods for model selection are extended for model assessment without measurements using model averaging as reference.  相似文献

The effect of bending strain on current carrying capacity of MgB2 multifilamentary wires was studied with 4, 8 and 16 multifilamentary wires. The critical current density (JC) of straight wires and bent wires with 5, 10, and 15 cm diameter was measured. Both annealed & bent and bent & annealed wires were used for measurement. The JC of annealed & bent wires were found to decrease with decrease in bent diameter and the rate of degradation of JC decreased with increasing number of filaments, while bent & annealed wires almost retained its JC at all diameters studied.  相似文献

An adaptive measurement method is presented for the estimation of interharmonic components causing light flicker. The method provides an alternative technique for the estimation of sinusoidal components of unknown frequency, where well-known methods of processing of stationary signals such as the DFT-based techniques may fail. The proposed technique is based on a recently developed sinusoid-tracking algorithm that is capable of tracking time-variations of the parameters of a nonstationary signal such as its frequency and amplitude. The preliminary stages of demodulation and bandpass filtering combined with dynamic adjustment of the parameters of the sinusoid-tracking algorithm allow for effective estimation of the components that may cause light flicker. The structure of the proposed flicker measurement technique is composed of two parallel branches, each finding the amplitude and frequency of an interharmonic component. Presented computer simulations demonstrate its performance while laboratory experiments verify its in situ functionality. Given the low complexity of the proposed technique, it is well-suited for real-time applications.  相似文献
