Transmission lines passing through a mountainous region often are struck by winter lightning. As a result, numerous double-circuit faults occur. Space charge might be responsible for this phenomena. Several investigations on flashover characteristics have been performed focusing on reduction of flashover voltage due to ionic space charge formed by corona discharge. In this paper, flashover characteristics of an air gap within a charged droplet cloud ejected from an airless nozzle using an induction charging method are discussed. The droplets are charged in the range -200 to 200 μC/kg, forming the space-charge density of approximately 13 μC/m3. The flashover voltage and the time lag to flashover were measured when 1.2 × 50 μs lightning impulse voltage applied to a rod-sphere gap is placed within the charged cloud. Flashover voltage for a positive rod increased markedly within a positive charged cloud by increasing the charge-to-mass ratio. The increase of flashover voltage was up to 80 percent in comparison with uncharged droplets. Flashover voltage for the negative rod decreased about 20 percent in the cloud of either polarity. The results show that the presence of charged droplets in the air gaps affects the discharge process significantly.  相似文献

Forced vibration tests were carried out at the Hamaoka (BWR) Unit 4 R/B (reactor building) in Japan in April and May of 1992. Fundamental dynamic characteristics of the R/B were obtained, including its interaction with the adjacent T/B (turbine building) and the soil–structure interaction. Results for the preceding R/Bs are compared, and probable causes for fluctuations in the resonance curve around the 1st peak are discussed. Furthermore, simulation analyses of the fundamental dynamic characteristics of the soil–structure system were conducted, using a basic lumped-mass soil–structure model (lattice model), and strong correlation with the measured data was obtained. Other detailed simulation models were employed to investigate the effects of simultaneously induced vertical response and response of the adjacent turbine building on the lateral response of the reactor building.  相似文献

This paper describes a load dispatch method which minimizes power cost—[fuel cost]/[electric output]—for a power system with thermal plants and energy storage facilities. The proposed method employs fractional programming to convert a minimization problem with fractional objective function to a series of quadratic minimization problems, and semidefinite programming to solve converted problems. The method provides the optimum time‐dependent power output/input and storage level of energy storage facilities as well as time‐dependent power output of thermal plants. The method has been applied to a power system with five thermal plants, two energy storage facilities of various performances, and five load demands. The optimum load scheme of four time mesh points is obtained for the thermal plants and energy storage facilities. The fractional programming successfully converges the optimal scheme through a few iterations. A report is presented of the results of an investigation of device parameters and collector-to-emitter breakdown voltages of double polysilicon self-aligned transistors with highly doped collectors using a two-dimensional process/device simulation system. Favourable phosphorous-ion implanting condition for a highly doped pedestal collector was found to achieve a high cutoff frequency as well as low AC base resistance and small base-collector capacitance, thereby keeping the minimum collector-to-emitter breakdown voltage of 3 V. The authors also report ECL circuit performance improvements achieved in experiments that realized a minimum ECL gate delay time of 26.3 ps/gate at switching current of 1.64 mA as a result of process optimization. Moreover, a 1/8 static frequency divider T-F/F has been observed to operate up to a maximum frequency of 15.8 GHz  相似文献

Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PV-OH), prepared from poly(viny) acetate), is used widely in many industries. Various grades have been produced, with different degree of polymerization and degree of hydrolysis. Recently, novel modified (PV-OH)s with anion, cation, silanol or hydrophobic groups have been studied and developed. They have new properties in addition to those of ordinary PV-OH and have new applications. MACSYM is a hierarchical parallel processing system for pattern understanding applications. It features event-driven parallel processing for knowledge-based understanding of document images. The system is composed of a master processor, slave processors and a large shared memory, and is equipped with versatile communication facilities. The parallel processing software system M.UM has been developed on MACSYM. It supplies a parallel processing language MacC, an extended version of C, and supports the programming for document image understanding. The Japanese newspaper layout understanding system EXPRESS is being developed on MACSYM. It analyzes a newspaper image and extracts articles in a few seconds.  相似文献

In the two phase alloys which exhibit superplasticity, strain rate sensitivitym, in the relationship σ = m, has been known to be strongly dependent on the volume fraction of the second phase. It, however, has not been necessarily confirmed experimentally on various two phase alloys.
