Point contact Andreev reflection measurements of Co2MnSn1?xGax alloys showed that the spin polarization of L21 ordered quaternary Co2MnSn0.5Ga0.5 compound increased to 0.72 compared to 0.6 for Co2MnSn and Co2MnGa ternary alloys. The L21 Co2MnSn0.5Ga0.5 phase was found to be an intermetallic compound, in which the L21 structure was stable up to the melting temperature. The increase in spin polarization was attributed to the high degree of L21 order as well as an increase in the spin-up density of states near the Fermi level.  相似文献

The phenomenal development in electronic systems has, in large part, the advances in Very Large Scale of Integration (VLSI) semiconductor technologies to thank. Performance, area, power and testing are some of the most important improvements. With the reduction in device sizes, it is becoming possible to fit increasingly larger number of transistors onto a single chip. However, as chip density increases, the probability of defects occurring in a chip increases as well. Thus, the quality, reliability and cost of the product are directly related to the intensity/level of testing of the product. As a result, gradually, Integrated Circuits (ICs) testing has shifted from the final fabricated ICs to the design stage. The author attempts to determine the ways in which the dispersal of urban population may be affected by the increasing cost of public and private transportation and by the decline of the city as a center of industrial employment. An interactive dynamic model of population and employment movement and transport cost is developed and calibrated for Greater London and South East Standard Region of England between 1961 and 1976. Nanocomposite thin films (NCTF) of low‐dimensional ZnSe and copper doped ZnSe integrated poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) polymer were developed via simple solution casting method. Herein, ZnSe and Cu:ZnSe nanoparticles were synthesized through the chemical reduction technique. The obtained low‐dimensional nanoparticles and NCTFs were characterized by XRD, SEM/EDS, TEM, and FTIR analysis. Room temperature dielectric and ferroelectric characteristics of PVDF/ZnSe flexible NCTF exhibited superior dielectric and ferroelectric behavior with a high coercive field of 15.6 V. Whereas, the dielectric and ferroelectric characteristics were greatly diminished in the PVDF/Cu:ZnSe flexible NCTF was due to the conducting behavior of copper ions at the interface of the polymer network. These results indicated that the PVDF/ZnSe flexible NCTF will be a potential candidate for advanced electrical applications and device fabrication. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. For the first time, green‐tea (GT)‐based magnetic nanohydrogels were developed for drug‐delivery purposes. The hydrogel matrices were fabricated via the in situ polymerization of acrylamide with GT molecules. Magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized by the reduction of the 1:2 molar ratio mixture of ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and ferric chloride hexahydrate with an ammonia solution. A chemotherapeutic drug, 5‐fluorouracil, was chosen as a model drug, and its releasing profiles in the presence and absence of the external magnetic field were evaluated at a pH of 7.4. We observed that in the presence of the applied magnetic field, these magnetic nanohydrogels released 2.86% more drug than in the absence of a magnetic field. The magnetic nanohydrogels were characterized by X‐ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, vibrating sample magnetometry, and transmission electron microscopy. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Nano silver particles with an average mean crystallite size of between 10 and 12 nm were synthesized from different molecular weights of poly(ethylene glycol) as a stabilizing agents, through solid state oxidation of silver nitrate using a higher energy planetary ball mill. Ultraviolet‐Visible spectra were used to confirm the synthesis of nano silver particles. The surface plasmon resonance bands were observed around 410 nm. Fourier transformed infrared spectrum, X‐ray diffraction, and transmission electronic microscopy techniques were used to characterize the nano silver particles synthesized. Thermal stability was determined using thermogravimetic analysis and the elemental composition of the sample was determined by energy dispersive X‐ray analysis. The nano silver particles synthesized, exhibited very good antibacterial activity against Gram‐positive bacteria (Bacillus) and Gram‐negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). Based on the obtained results, it was additionally explored that the size and the stabilization of the nano silver particles synthesized, strongly depend on the molecular weight of poly(ethylene glycol). © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this investigation, plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) was treated with poly(azido acrylate)s to prevent plasticizer migration. This was achieved by modification of PVC sheets with poly(azido acrylate)s in a dichloromethane solution followed by irradiation under UV light. The surface‐modified PVC sheets with poly (azido acrylate)s were characterized with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy analyses. The migration of the plasticizer was prevented to a large extent from modified PVC in comparison with unmodified PVC. Wireless ad hoc networks are growing important because of their mobility, versatility, and ability to work with fewer infrastructures. The mobile ad hoc network is an autonomous system consisting of mobile nodes connected with wireless links. Establishing a path between two nodes is a complex task in wireless networks. It is still more complex in the wireless mobile ad hoc network because every node is no longer as an end node and an intermediate node. In this paper, it focuses on design of connectionless routing protocol for the wireless ad hoc networks based on the mobile agent concept. The proposed model tries to discover the best path taking into consideration some concerns like bandwidth, reliability, and congestion of the link. The proposed model has been simulated and tested under various wireless ad hoc network environments with the help of a different number of nodes. The results demonstrate that the proposed model is more feasible for providing reliable paths between the source and destination with the minimum control message packets over the network. In this investigation, silver nanocomposite hydrogels were developed by using acrylamide and biodegradable gelatin. Silver nanoparticles were generated throughout the hydrogel networks using in situ method by incorporating Ag+ ions and the subsequent treatment with sodium borohydride. The effect of gelatin on the swelling studies was investigated. The hydrogel synthesized silver nanocomposites were characterized by using Fourier transform infrared, UV–Visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron and transmission electron microscopy techniques. The biodegradable gelatin-based silver nanocomposite hydrogels were tested for antibacterial properties. The results indicate that these biodegradable silver nanocomposite hydrogels can be useful in medical applications, as antibacterial agents.  相似文献

The performance evaluation of 1.26 kW fuel cell fed electric vehicle system with reconfigured Quadratic Boost Converter along with the neural network based maximum power point tracking algorithm is presented in this paper. The acceptance of EV in modern society is relevant for the creation of pollution free environment. The main reason for creation of excessive pollution is transportation by the mode of roadways, with the own internal combustion engines by using crude oil as primary energy source. In this paper, a 1.26 kW Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) fed electric vehicle is designed in MATLAB/Simulink environment. To integrate PEMFC to brushless DC (BLDC) motor are configured Quadratic Boost Converter is designed for high static converter voltage gain. The performance of the proposed EV system is analysed with perturb and observer method and neural network based MPPT control techniques and obtained results are compared at different fuel cell input temperature conditions with respect to different time periods.  相似文献
