The electrochemical parameters of a novel binder-free self-standing biomimetic cathode based on lithium manganese oxide (LMO) and carbon nanotubes (CNT) for rechargeable Lithium-ion aqueous batteries (ReLIAB) are improved using polyaniline (PANI) core-shell in situ polymerization and graphene (Gr). The fabricated cathode material exhibits the so-called “tectonic plate island bridge” biomimetic structure. This constitution is created by combining three components as shown by a SEM and a TEM analysis: the Gr substrates support an entangled matrix of conductive CNT which connect island of non-conductive inorganic material composed of LMO. The typical spinel structure of the LMO remains unchanged after modifying the basic structure with Gr and PANI due to a simplified hydrothermal method used for synthesis. The Gr and PANI core-shell coating improves the electric conductivity from 0.0025 S/cm up to 1 S/cm. The electrochemical performances of the LMO/CNT-Gr/PANI composite electrode are optimized up to 136 mA h g−1 compared to 111 mA h g−1 of the LMO/CNT. Besides that, the new electrode shows good cycling stability after 200 galvanostatic charging/discharging cycles, making this structure a future candidate for cathode materials for ReLIAB.  相似文献

Summary The present work considers one dimensional wave propagation in an infinitely long, straight and homogeneous nonlinear viscoelastic tube filled with an incompressible, inviscid fluid. In order to include the geometric dispersion in the analysis, the tube wall inertia effects are added to the pressure-area relation. Using the reductive perturbation technique, the propagation of weakly nonlinear waves in the long-wave approximation is examined. In the long-wave approximation, a general equation is obtained, and it is shown that by a proper scaling this equation reduces to the well-known nonlinear evolution equations. Intensifying the effect of nonlinearity in the perturbation process, the modified forms of these evolution equations are also obtained. In the absence of nonlinear viscoelastic effects all the equations reduce to those of the linear viscoelastic tube.  相似文献

A Total BETI (TBETI) based domain decomposition algorithm with the preconditioning by a natural coarse grid of the rigid body motions is adapted for the solution of contact problems of linear elastostatics and proved to be scalable for the coercive problems, i.e., the cost of the solution is asymptotically proportional to the number of variables. The analysis is based on the original results by Langer and Steinbach on the scalability of BETI for linear problems and our development of optimal quadratic programming algorithms for bound and equality constrained problems. Both theoretical results and numerical experiments indicate a high efficiency of the algorithms presented.   相似文献

Recent technological advancements in polymeric buckypaper materials have brought spotlight on polymer/nanodiamond buckypaper. This review is designed as systematic and comprehensive source of information and research on nanodiamond, polymer/nanodiamond nanocomposite and buckypaper, and technological advancement in this field. Structure, properties, and manufacturing techniques of polymer/nanodiamond buckypaper are reviewed. Because of outstanding physical properties, polymer-based buckypaper has been used as potential contenders in nanofilter, supercapacitor, fuel cell, electrical components, and biomedical devices. However, property dependence in relation to chemical structure is not fully identified in the literature. To find out further technical suitability of polymer/nanodiamond materials are still among predominant research challenges.  相似文献

We propose an algorithm for the effective solution of quadratic programming (QP) problems arising from model predictive control (MPC). MPC is a modern multivariable control method which gives the solution for a QP problem at each sample instant. Our algorithm combines the active-set strategy with the proportioning test to decide when to leave the actual active set. For the minimization in the face, we use a direct solver implemented by the Cholesky factors updates. The performance of the algorithm is illustrated by numerical experiments, and the results are compared with the state-of-the-art solvers on benchmarks from MPC.  相似文献

The actuaries always look for heavy-tailed distributions to model data relevant to business and actuarial risk issues. In this article, we introduce a new class of heavy-tailed distributions useful for modeling data in financial sciences. A specific sub-model form of our suggested family, named as a new extended heavy-tailed Weibull distribution is examined in detail. Some basic characterizations, including quantile function and raw moments have been derived. The estimates of the unknown parameters of the new model are obtained via the maximum likelihood estimation method. To judge the performance of the maximum likelihood estimators, a simulation analysis is performed in detail. Furthermore, some important actuarial measures such as value at risk and tail value at risk are also computed. A simulation study based on these actuarial measures is conducted to exhibit empirically that the proposed model is heavy-tailed. The usefulness of the proposed family is illustrated by means of an application to a heavy-tailed insurance loss data set. The practical application shows that the proposed model is more flexible and efficient than the other six competing models including (i) the two-parameter models Weibull, Lomax and Burr-XII distributions (ii) the three-parameter distributions Marshall-Olkin Weibull and exponentiated Weibull distributions, and (iii) a well-known four-parameter Kumaraswamy Weibull distribution.  相似文献

Context: Since the end of 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic had a worst impact on world’s economy, healthcare, and education. There are several aspects where the impact of COVID-19 could be visualized. Among these, one aspect is the productivity of researcher, which plays a significant role in the success of an organization. Problem: There are several factors that could be aligned with the researcher’s productivity of each domain and whose analysis through researcher’s feedback could be beneficial for decision makers in terms of their decision making and implementation of mitigation plans for the success of an organization. Method: We perform an empirical study to investigate the substantial impact of COVID-19 on the productivity of researchers by analyzing the relevant factors through their perceptions. Our study aims to find out the impact of COVID-19 on the researcher’s productivity that are working in different fields. In this study, we conduct a questionnaire-based analysis, which included feedback of 152 researchers of certain domains. These researchers are currently involved in different research activities. Subsequently, we perform a statistical analysis to analyze the collected responses and report the findings. Findings: The results indicate the substantial impact of COVID-19 pandemics on the researcher’s productivity in terms of mental disturbance, lack of regular meetings, and field visits for the collection of primary data. Conclusion: Finally, it is concluded that researcher’s daily or weekly meetings with their supervisors and colleagues are necessary to keep them more productive in task completion. These findings would help the decision makers of an organization in the settlement of their plan for the success of an organization.  相似文献

Gradual disappearance of hysteresis with increasing frequency of the exciting signal is considered a classical fingerprint of general memristive systems. The paper analyzes a special version of this fingerprint, when the value of the charge delivered within the half‐period remains constant while the frequency of the sinusoidal current is increasing. Under these conditions, the area of the pinched hysteresis loop of the ideal memristor increases with the square of the frequency. Breaking the rules of this fingerprint indicates reliably that the element analyzed is not an ideal memristor.
