气缸可靠性试验装置的研制

为了进行气缸可靠性试验研究,针对缸径为50mm、行程为160mm的气缸研制了一套气缸可靠性试验装置.5个月的不间断试验测试及获得的大量数据表明,该装置运行稳定可靠,满足了气缸可靠性试验的要求.详细介绍了装置试验回路的构成、工作原理和具体实现,测控子系统的硬件构成和软件流程,气缸性能参数测量方法及获得的部分数据.     

黄磷渣制备多孔陶瓷的研究

研究了用黄磷渣代替部分粘土作陶瓷原料，既可以解决磷渣对环境的污染和堆放占用耕地问题，使该固体废弃物资源化，又能缓解陶瓷原料的短缺。     

Morphology and properties of poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(2′‐ethyl‐hexyloxy)‐para‐phenylene vinylene]/silica nanoparticle hybrid films

Poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(2′‐ethyl‐hexyloxy)‐para‐phenylene vinylene] (MEH‐PPV)/silica nanoparticle hybrid films were prepared and characterised. Three kinds of materials were compared: parent MEH‐PPV, MEH‐PPV/silica (hybrid A films), and MEH‐PPV/coupling agent MSMA/silica (hybrid B films), in which MSMA is 3‐(trimethoxysilyl) propyl methacrylate. It was found that the hybrid B films could significantly prevent macrophase separation, as evidenced by scanning electron and fluorescence microscopy. Furthermore, the thermal characteristics of the hybrid films were largely improved in comparison with the parent MEH‐PPV. The UV‐visible absorption spectra suggested that the incorporation of MSMA‐modified silica into MEH‐PPV could confine the polymer chain between nanoparticles and thus increase the conjugation length. The photoluminescence (PL) studies also indicated enhancement of the PL intensity and quantum efficiency by incorporating just 2 wt% of MSMA‐modified silica into MEH‐PPV. However, hybrid A films did not show such enhancement of optoelectronic properties as the hybrid B films. The present study suggests the importance of the interface between the luminescent organic polymers and the inorganic silica on morphology and optoelectronic properties. Implementing total quality management at the U.S. Department of Defense

This paper examines Total Quality Management (TQM) as defined by Dr. W. Edwards Deming including Deming's fourteen points and explains how the United States' Department of Defense (DOD) defines TQM and why TQM is necessary. It also covers how the DOD is planning on implementing TQM and the policy that has been established as guidance in the implementation process.     

A micromechanical model for cleavage-crack reinitiation

A crack-tip screening analysis of cleavage fracture of steel is developed. The analysis incorporates evidence that reinitiation of an arrested cleavage crack requires less stress intensity than cleavage initiation from a fatigue precrack. Fractographic evidence as well as metallographic sectioning of arrested cracks have previously shown that the mechanism of rapid crack propagation by cleavage is affected strongly by partial crack-plane deflection which leaves unbroken ligaments in its wake. The tearing of these ligaments by dimple rupture is the dominant energy-absorbing mechanism. Earlier etch-pit experiments using an Fe-Si alloy showed that the crack-tip stress intensity based on plastic zone size is extremely low. These observations are incorporated into a model in which cleavage crack reinitiation is analyzed using a sharp crack that is shielded by a distribution of pinching forces along its faces. During reloading of the arrested crack, the ligaments restrict crack-tip blunting, leading to higher local stresses. As a result, lower stress intensities are needed for reinitiation than for initiation from a fatigue precrack.     

Model reactions on roast aroma formation

Summary From model roastings of mixtures containing serine, threonine and sucrose about 350 volatile compounds were separated and identified by GC/MS. Among them there were more than 100 monocyclic furans, 13 furanones and 8 bicyclic furans, the mass spectra and retention indices of which are recorded. The most important mass spectrometric fragmentation pathways are described. Spectra obtained from roasting coffee under identical conditions are compared with the spectra from model roastings.

Modell-Reaktionen zur Röstaroma-BildungII. Die massenspektrometrische Identifizierung von Furanen und Furanonen aus der Reaktion von Serin und Threonin mit Saccharose unter den Bedingungen der Kaffeeröstung

Zusammenfassung Aus Modellröstungen von Gemischen aus Serin, Threonin und Saccharose unter den Bedingungen der Kaffeeröstung wurden etwa 350 flüchtige Verbindungen mittels GC/MS getrennt und identifiziert. Unter ihnen befanden sich über 100 monocyclische Furane und 13 Furanone sowie 8 bicyclische Furane, deren Massenspektren und Retentions-indices angegeben werden. Die wichtigsten massenspektrometrischen Fragmentierungswege werden beschrieben. -Die aus einer gleich behandelten Röstung von Rohkaffee erhaltenen Spektren werden mit denen der Modellröstungen verglichen.

Optimal algorithms for adjacent side routing

We consider the switchbox routing problem of two-terminal nets in the case when all thek nets lie on two adjacent sides of the rectangle. Our routing model is the standard two-layer model. We develop an optimal algorithm that routes all the nets whenever a routing exists. The routing obtained uses the fewest possible number of vias.
