We previously reported that lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI) functions as an endogenous agonist of GPR55, a novel cannabinoid receptor. However, the physiological roles of LPI-GPR55 have not yet been elucidated in detail. In the present study, we found that LPI induced morphological changes in GPR55-expressing HEK293 cells. LPI induced the cell rounding of GPR55-expressing HEK293 cells but not of empty-vector-transfected cells. LPI also induced the activation of small GTP-binding protein RhoA and increased stress fiber formation in GPR55-expressing HEK293 cells. The inhibition of RhoA and Rho kinase ROCK by the C3 exoenzyme and the ROCK inhibitor reduced LPI-induced cell rounding and stress fiber formation. These results clearly indicated that the LPI-induced morphological changes and the assembly of the cytoskeletons were mediated through the GPR55-RhoA-ROCK pathway.  相似文献

Effects of dietary α-lipoic acid enantiomers on hepatic and serum lipid concentrations and the activity and mRNA levels of enzymes involved in hepatic fatty acid metabolism were examined in rats. Rats were fed experimental diets containing 0 or 2.5 g/kg of α-lipoic acid enantiomers (a racemic mixture of R/S-, S- or R-α-lipoic acid) for 21 days. Various α-lipoic acid preparations decreased serum and liver concentrations of triacylglycerol, and also lowered serum concentrations of cholesterol and phospholipid and the concentration of cholesterol in the liver. α-Lipoic acid decreased the activity and mRNA levels of various hepatic lipogenic enzymes and also decreased the activities of carnitine acyltransferase and 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase and mRNA levels of carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1a involved in fatty acid oxidation in the liver; however, R- and S-enantiomers of α-lipoic acid as well as well as a racemic mixture of R/S-α-lipoic acid were indistinguishable in altering these indices for lipid metabolism.  相似文献

A thin plate of TeO2 glass of 5.0 × 4.0 × 0.25 mm3 size, which was large enough for various optical measurements, was obtained by a rapid quenching method. The linear refractive index was measured as a function of wavelength from 486.1 to 1000 nm. The refractive index at 486.1 nm was as high as 2.239. The optical energy band gap was estimated as 3.37 eV from the optical absorption spectrum. The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility, χ(3), was determined by the third-harmonic generation (THG) method. The χ(3) value was as high as 1.4 × 10−12 esu, about 50 times as large as that of SiO2 glass. The results are discussed based on Lines' model in which an influence of cationic empty d -orbitals on the nonlinear properties was taken into account.  相似文献

Aluminum titanate (AT) ceramic materials doped with alkali feldspar ((Na0.6K0.4)AlSi3O8) have been prepared. These ceramics exhibited high sinterability, large resistance to thermal decomposition, and large flexure strength. The existence of liquid-phase feldspar at sintering temperatures promoted the formation of AT ceramics as the sintering agent. It was considered that silicon ions substituting for aluminum ions at the surface of AT crystal grains lowered the surface energy and hindered the diffusion of Ti4+ and Al3+, giving rise to the large resistance to thermal decomposition. As a result, doping with alkali feldspar was found to effectively improve the mechanical and thermal properties of AT ceramics.  相似文献

Neutron Diffraction Study on the Structure of Na-Si-O-N Oxynitride Glasses   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The local structure of a Na2O─SiO2 oxide glass and a Na2O─iO2─Si3N4 oxynitride glass has been investigated by the pulsed neutron diffraction method. In the oxide glass, the first peak of radial distribution function (RDF) curves appeared at 0.1627 nm corresponding to Si─O boxh length. In the oxynitride glass, the first peak of the RDF curve was shifted to longer distances at 0.1650 nm due to the coexistence of Si─O and Si─N boxhs. The first peak in the RDF curve of the oxynitride glass was deconvoluted into two peaks whose positions are located at 0.1626 and 0.1709 nm. The one at 0.1626 nm is ascribed to Si─O boxhs and the other at 0.1709 nm to Si─N boxhs. The number of silicon atoms around a nitrogen was found to be 2.42, suggesting that not all of the nitrogen atoms are boxhed to three silicon atoms, but 58% twofold (─N─) and 42% threefold (>N─) nitrogens coexist in the present Na-Si-O-N oxynitride glass. The formation of twofold nitrogens may arise from the reaction between ≡Si─O and ≡Si3N groups. This model is compatible with the experimental observation that the density and Vickers hardness of oxynitride glasses increase with the nitrogen content.  相似文献

Metals in recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) were analyzed by ICP-MS following microwave digestion with nitric acid. Physically and superclean-like recycled PET contained both Ge and Sb, and sometimes contained Co, P or Si. In contrast, the chemically recycled PET contained only Ge or Sb, and some samples contained Co. The recycled PETs did not contain Pb or Cd. Ge and Sb were catalysts of the polymerization, and the other metals also originated from the PET resin as additives. It was concluded that there is no safety concern about metals in recycled PET. It became clear that the presence of both Ge and Sb could identify products formed using physically or superclean-like recycled PET. According to this discrimination method, about half of the sheet molding products used recycled PET.  相似文献

Specification tests defined in the Japanese Food Sanitation Law were conducted on 7 polylactic acid food-contact products. Moreover, the content and migration of other compounds were examined by means of ICP-AES, GC/MS and mutagenicity tests. All products met their specifications, and migration levels of heavy metals were negligible. No notable peak was observed in GC/MS analysis. Moreover, all products gave negative results in both rec-assay and the umu-test. An increase in the β-galactosidase activity in the umu-test observed with the migration solution of soup bowl was due not to polylactic acid, but to the polyurethane coating.  相似文献

Cellulose, a main component of cell walls, generally makes materials hard and brittle. However, an ultratough, cellulosic material is found in nature: cherry bark. Surprisingly, it elongates by more than twice of its initial length and behaves as a plastic film during stretching.
