The present study was undertaken to evaluate the role and possible interaction of the endogenous opioid peptide (EOP) and corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) in the acute stress-induced suppression of gonadotropin secretion in ovariectomized estrogen-primed rats. An intravenous (i.v.) injection of naloxone (10 or 20 mg/kg), an EOP antagonist, significantly elevated serum luteinizing hormone (LH) levels within 10 min in non-stressed animals. The naloxone-induced LH release was completely eliminated when tested 30 min after the onset of acute immobilization. In a subsequent study, it was found that suppression of the naloxone-induced LH release occurred as early as 5 min after the stress onset, and was still evident 60 min after the end of a 30-min period of immobilization. The effect of naloxone was restored 3 h after liberation of the animal from the 30-min immobilization. An intraventricular (i.c.v.) injection of CRF (1 or 5 micrograms) also significantly suppressed, in a dose-related manner, the effect of a subsequent i.v. injection of naloxone. However, an i.c.v. injection of alpha-helical CRF(9-41) (25 or 50 micrograms), a CRF antagonist, prior to immobilization, could not interfere with the suppressive effect of stress on naloxone-induced LH release. These results suggest that both acute immobilization stress and CRF can inhibit the LH secretory activity without mediation by EOP neurons. However, the stress-related suppression may involve non-CRF mechanism(s).  相似文献

This paper describes a method available for early detection of abnormality in an oil-filled transformer. In this method, four gas sensors having different characteristics and neural network are used to identify gas species (H2, CH4, C2H4, C2H2 and mixture of two species). To improve the selectivity of gas sensors, the time response patterns induced by changing sensor temperature and the stationary sensor output are identified by neural network. Furthermore, the mixture ratio of gases is derived by using the stationary sensor output in response to the changing sensor temperature. Gas species are well discriminated, and the mixture ratio derived from the sensor output agrees well with the measurement by gas chromatography. Therefore, it is confirmed that our method is applicable to the transformer diagnostic technology.  相似文献

A cylindrical ionophore (1) in which two diaza-crown ethers are linked by two azobenzene pillars serves as a photoresponsive host molecule. In alkaline solution containing K+, (1) forms a cascade complex with dianionic guest molecules, but photoirradiated (1) which has a shortened cylinder cannot bind the guest molecules so effectively as (1). (1) solubilised in acidic aqueous solution by protonation of four tertiary nitrogens provides a hydrophobic cavity to bind several anionic azo dyes. The association is also suppressed by photoirradiation. The results indicate that parallel array of the azobenzene segments in (1) provides a host cavity and the photoinduced structural change is readily reflected by the association tendency. This is the first example for the photoresponsive inclusion complex.  相似文献

Construction of 275-kV and 500-kV substations in densely populated areas is thought to be necessary in the future to maintain a stable supply of electricity. The use of gas-insulated transformers is now considered for substations because such transformers are non-flammable and nonexplosive. Since the completion of the 77-kV gas-insulated transformer in 1979, we have continued research to develop gas-insulated transformers applicable to a higher voltage level up to 500 kV. As the results of the research, 275-kV, 300-MVA a liquid cooling-type gas-insulated transformer has been developed.  相似文献

An aromatic polyamide-imide (PAI) film was reinforced with a plain cloth of aromatic polyamide fiber (Du Pont, Kevlar 49). The mechanical properties of the composite film were investigated by examination of the temperature dependencies of tensile dynamic mechanical properties, stress relaxation, and tensile stress-strain behaviors. The softening temperature of the composite film was lower than that of a homogeneous PAI film. At a high temperature, Kevlar fibers may act as a thermal conductor and lower the softening point of the PAI composite. The mechanical properties of the composite film at a high temperature are mostly controlled by the PAI matrix.  相似文献

A new unified FA (Factory Automation) language has been developed. The language is suited for robot control, vision system control and programmable controller (PC) control and enables a unified means for programming. The language is called FA-BASIC and has common functions such as expression, control structure and input/output statement based on BASIC language.

FA-BASIC is composed of three subsystems: FA-BASIC/R for robot control, FA-BASIC/V for vision system control and FA-BASIC/C for PCs.

Many languages have been developed up to now, but most of them were aimed at single purposes. These single purpose languages were too limited when developing an integrated FA system, because several languages and different program-making methods must be mastered.

Using FA-BASIC, programming with mutual interconnections between robots, PCs and vision devices is done by the one common method.

In this paper, the basic design concept and functions of FA-BASIC will be presented, along with the features of FA-BASIC/R and on outline of a robot control system using a standard mechanism-independent intermediate language and standard fundamental modules. Also, for easy programming, an off-line programming system with graphical aids and a menu-selection method which require no special effort to master will be introduced as the only present-day universal robot programming method.  相似文献
