Robotic sanding system for new designed furniture with free-formed surface   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, a sanding system based on an industrial robot with a surface following controller is proposed for the sanding process of wooden materials constructing furniture. Handy air-driven tools can be easily attached to the tip of the robot arm via a compact force sensor. The robotic sanding system is called the 3D robot sander. The robot sander has two novel features. One is that the polishing force acting between the tool and wooden workpiece is delicately controlled to track a desired value, e.g., 2 kgf. The polishing force is defined as the resultant force of the contact force and kinetic friction force. The other is that no complicated teaching operation is required to obtain a desired trajectory of the tool. Cutter location (CL) data, which are tool paths generated by a CAD/CAM system, are directly used for the basic trajectory of the handy tool attached to the robot arm. The robot sander can be applied to the sanding task of free-formed curved surface with which conventional sanding machines have not been able to cope. The effectiveness and promise are shown and discussed through a few experiments.  相似文献

The actinide management has become a key issue in nuclear energy. Recovering and fissioning transuranium elements reduce the long-term proliferation risks and the environmental burden. The better way of waste management will be made by system symbiosis: a combination of light-water reactor and fast reactor and/or accelerator-driven transmutation system should be sought. The new recycling technology should be able to achieve good economy with smaller plants, which can process fuels from different types of reactors on a common technical basis. Ease in handling the higher heat load of transuranium nuclides is also important. Pyroprocesses with the use of molten salts are regarded as the strong candidate for such recycling technology. In JAEA, the first laboratory for the high-temperature chemistry of Am and Cm has been established. The fundamental data will be combined with the computer code for predicting the molten-salts electrolytic processes.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the theoretical treatment of transient piezothermoelastic problem involving a functionally graded thermopiezoelectric hollow sphere due to uniform heat supply. The transient one-dimensional temperature is analyzed by the method of Laplace transformation. The thermal, thermoelastic and piezoelectric constants of the hollow sphere are expressed as power functions of the radial coordinate. The one-dimensional solution for the temperature change in a transient state, and piezothermoelastic response of a functionally graded thermopiezoelectric hollow sphere is obtained herein. Some numerical results for the temperature change, displacement, stress and electric potential distributions are shown. Furthermore, the influence of the nonhomogeneity of the material upon the temperature change, displacement, stresses and electric potential is investigated.  相似文献

The effect of the rare sugar D-psicose on chitosan production by Rhizopus oryzae was studied. The fungus was not able to utilize D-psicose as a sole source of carbon, either for germination of the spores or for growth of the vegetative cells. In a medium containing a low amount of D-glucose, however, D-psicose supplementation between 5 and 12 g/l caused enhancement of the productivity of chitinous substances, especially chitosan, in the cell walls. Substantial changes in the chitosan molecule were not observed from FT-IR or 1H NMR data. It was inferred that a percentage age of the D-psicose added was transformed into another rare sugar tentatively identified as D-tagatose. It was concluded that D-psicose activates the synthesis of chitosan in the cell walls probably through its transformation into another sugar such as D-tagatose.  相似文献

This review summarizes the biological properties of the junctional epithelium, focusing on its developmental aspects, wide intercellular spaces and desmosomes, dense granules, permeability barrier, phagocytotic activity, adhesive structures and nerve terminals. It also discusses the morphology and functions of long junctional epithelium and peri-implant epithelium. Junctional epithelium is derived from the reduced enamel epithelium during tooth development. Apoptosis occurs in the border between oral and reduced enamel epithelia during tooth eruption. Junctional epithelium expresses a cytokeratin-19 immunoreaction, suggesting that this protein is a consistent differentiation marker. Wide intercellular spaces, which contain neutrophils and nerve endings, are formed as there are fewer desmosomes than in the oral epithelium. Dense, membrane-bound granules in the epithelium might correspond with membrane-coating granules, as revealed by their shape, components and freeze-fracture images. Junctional epithelium with high permeability contains exogenously expressed alpha-defensins, while stratified epithelia contain endogenously expressed beta-defensins. The phagocytotic activity in this epithelium remains unclear. Integrin-alpha6beta4 and laminin-5 form a complex in the tooth surface internal basal lamina. Long junctional epithelium created experimentally attaches to the cementum surface by hemidesmosomes and basal lamina. The peri-implant epithelium differs in proliferation and in adhesive structure from the normal junctional epithelium. In conclusion, wide intercellular spaces and poorly developed desmosomes are closely correlated with a permeable nature. There is still uncertainty over the phagocytotic activity of the epithelium. Integrin-alpha6beta4 and laminin-5 form a significant complex in the internal basal lamina. Junctional epithelium receives a rich sensory nerve and has a high rate of cell turnover. Long junctional epithelium can be produced rapidly during wound healing, due to high proliferative activity. Peri-implant epithelium might be a poorly adhered and permeable epithelium.  相似文献

To explore various scientific frontiers from nearby substellar objects to large scale structures of the high redshift universe, a Fibre Multi-Object Spectrograph (FMOS) is being developed as the second generation near-infrared measuring instrument for the prime focus of 8.2 m Subaru telescope in Hawaii, which employs a large special Schmidt plate element. The Schmidt plate consists of a large non-axisymmetric aspherical concave plate and a convex plate. This paper introduces its manufacturing process, focusing on its non-axisymmetric aspherical surface machining by utilizing synthetically ELID grinding and arc-enveloped grinding method. A new grinding system capable of fabricating large optical elements was developed with 10 nm resolution. In this ELID arc-enveloped grinding system, a Cast Iron Fibre Bonded (CIFB) diamond wheel was 3D controlled to scan the workpiece to generate required surface. Grinding characteristics such as attainable form accuracy, surface roughness were investigated. Furthermore, some measures to improve form accuracy were discussed and verified.  相似文献

This paper presents an efficient approach for generating weathering effects with detailed appearance variations in a single image. Previous approaches merely change chroma or reflectance of weathered objects, which is not sufficient for materials with detailed shading and texture variations, such as growing moss and peeling plaster. Our method propagates such detailed features via seamless patch‐based synthesis driven by weathering degree distribution. Unlike previous methods, the weathering degrees are calculated efficiently using Radial Basis Functions even for materials with wide color variations. We use graph cut‐based optimization to identify the most weathered region as a “weathering exemplar”, from which we sample weathering patches. We demonstrate our method enables us to generate various types of detailed weathering effects interactively.  相似文献

How flood risks are affected by infrastructure and institutional arrangements differs among developed and developing countries. This paper compares flood management systems in Indonesia and Japan as they are affected by institutional, organizational and individual capacities. It uses a conceptual model and applies performance indicators to organize the measures of flood management effectiveness. The case studies show that institutional arrangements are essential for effective flood management, but their effectiveness depends on implementation capacity. While infrastructure may mitigate flood damage, its limitations must be recognized. Informed awareness of flood threats and management by the local community is critical.  相似文献

A discretization procedure for a total variation diminishing (TVD) scheme is introduced to an electromagnetic hybrid particle-in-cell (PIC) plasma simulation code in order to improve the numerical stability and resolution when calculating the plasma flow field in which magnetic field discontinuities (for example, Rankine–Hugoniot jump conditions for shock waves) are generated. In the hybrid PIC code used in this study, ions are treated as particles and electrons are assumed to be an inertia-less (mass-less) fluid. In the numerical results of one-dimensional test simulations, the TVD scheme significantly prevents non-physical, numerical oscillations, which would ordinarily be produced in the solution when the convection term of the magnetic induction equation in the hybrid PIC code is discretized by central difference schemes at magnetic field discontinuities. Furthermore, a two-dimensional simulation of the global structure of a collision-less bow shock, which is suitable for practical use, makes it possible to clearly capture the bow shock by using the hybrid PIC code with the TVD scheme.  相似文献

Abstract— A novel highly reliable self‐aligned top‐gate oxide‐semiconductor thin‐film transistor (TFT) formed by using the aluminum (Al) reaction method has been developed. This TFT structure has advantages such as small‐sized TFTs, lower mask count, and small parasitic capacitance. The TFT with a 4‐μm channel length exhibited a field‐effect mobility of 21.6 cm2/V‐sec, a threshold voltage of ?1.2 V, and a subthreshold swing of 0.12 V/decade. Highly reliable TFTs were obtained after 300°C annealing without increasing the sheet resistivity of the source/drain region. A 9.9‐in.‐diagonal qHD AMOLED display was demonstrated with self‐aligned top‐gate oxide‐semiconductor TFTs for a low‐cost and ultra‐high‐definition OLED display. Excellent brightness uniformity could be achieved due to small parasitic capacitance.  相似文献
